This antique felted beaver fur hat by Franklin Simon & Co. features unique pomegranate pom poms and is inspired by Spanish bullfighter hats. Made in New York City around 1900, it is a rare find, especially with its original pom poms intact.

The hat is in great antique condition for its age, although it does show some signs of wear. There are a few flaws, including some missing fur on the edge of the rim, a crease in the fur, and the inner hat band coming undone with some sweat stains. The hat has a circumference of 22 inches and stands 4 inches tall.
