Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the Circular Auth extension (“we”, “our”, or “the extension”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Chrome extension.
Information Collection
The Circular Auth extension collects the following limited information:
- Authentication Tokens: We collect authentication tokens (specifically the “access_token”) from the Depop.com domain.
- User Identifiers: We collect user identifiers (specifically the “user_id”) from the Depop.com domain.
This information is collected solely for the purpose of maintaining authentication between Depop and integrated marketplace management services.
How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively for:
- Transmitting authentication data to a designated endpoint (https://fluf.io/wp-json/fc/circular-auth/v1/token)
- Enabling seamless integration between Depop and connected platforms
- Maintaining your authenticated status without requiring manual re-authentication
Data Transmission
The extension transmits the collected tokens to a secure API endpoint. This occurs:
- Once every hour automatically
- When manually triggered by clicking the “Check Now” button
- Only when you are logged into Depop
Data Storage
The Circular Auth extension:
- Does not permanently store your authentication tokens
- Only temporarily holds the tokens in memory for the duration needed to transmit them
- Stores minimal information locally (your selected endpoint URL and the timestamp of the last successful check)
Third-Party Access
Your authentication data is only transmitted to the specific endpoint configured in the extension (by default, this is the FLUF.io API). No other third parties receive access to your data.
User Controls
You can:
- View the status of the most recent authentication check
- Manually trigger an authentication check
- Uninstall the extension at any time to cease all data collection
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
