Item Description:Up for sale is an authentic, beautifully detailed late 19th-century Indo-Persian mixed-metal bottle vase, displaying exceptional Qajar-period artistry.The body of the vase is constructed from traditional hand-hammered tinned copper, expertly worked using the repoussé technique to create deep, high-relief decorative panels. The central register depicts historic Islamic figural hunting scenes, featuring a resting gazelle/deer nestled among rich forest foliage and trees. The background spaces are intricately packed with traditional hand-chased (qalamzani) fish-scale textures, acanthus leaves, and geometric borders.

Materials & Condition Details:Tinned Copper

Patina: This piece was originally coated in a traditional molten tin layer to mimic a bright silver appearance. Over a century of natural handling and age, this silver-colored tinning has gracefully worn away along the raised highlights, creating a highly desirable multi-toned aesthetic that reveals the warm, genuine red copper base underneath.

Heavy Brass Fittings: The vase features a distinct golden brass collar rim and stands on a heavy, flared separate brass foot ring. These components are securely fused to the core copper frame via traditional lead-tin solder points visible on the interior and base.

Condition Notes: The vase displays beautifully with an uncleaned, deep antique patina and natural turquoise verdigris crusting across its hand-dimpled base plate. There is a minor, age-appropriate hairline separation gap right along the narrow neck-to-collar structural seam, which is entirely standard for handmade metalwork of this vintage.
