This listing is a beautiful vintage Chinese carved cinnabar lacquer vase w/ wooden bases.
The baluster shaped vases match, but the two round wooden bases are different colours. The vases and bases were acquired from an estate several years ago. The previous owner’s family member said these vases came to the US in the early 1970s, the exact age is unknown. I have not had the vases appraised and cannot verify the vases are authentic hand carved cinnabar laquer.
Minor marks; tarnish to brass. Dimensions: approximately 13.5”H vase on the wooden base, approximately 6”W at widest point, bottom of the vases 4.25” in diameter.
From smoke and pet free home.
