Vintage Pair Royal Winton Bird Table Lamps Ironstone Staffordshire England

A beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find pair of vintage Royal Winton Ironstone table lamps, made in Staffordshire, England.

These decorative ceramic lamps feature colourful bird illustrations on all four sides, each surrounded by an attractive moulded basketweave design in white glazed ironstone. Every side displays a different bird scene, making them highly decorative from any angle.

We have been unable to find another matching pair of this design, making them an unusual and appealing addition for collectors of Royal Winton, vintage lighting or traditional English pottery.

Both lamps are fitted with brass BC bayonet lamp holders and are in full working order at the time of listing. The lampshades shown are not included as standard but can be supplied with the lamps if preferred—simply let us know after purchase.

Condition

Both lamps are in very good vintage condition with light age-related wear. There is fine crazing to the glaze, which is typical of vintage Royal Winton ironstone, together with minor marks from age and use. No obvious chips or cracks were found during inspection. Both lamps are fully working at the time of listing but some yellowing to the cables/plugs. Lampshades shown are not included but are available if requested.
