AMT Star Trek USS Excelsior 1:1000 NX-2000 NCC-2000 Model Kit 50th Anniversary (A)

A detailed glue-together model kit of the U.S.S. Excelsior, with optional parts allowing the ship to be built as either the NX-2000 configuration or the later NCC-2000 configuration. The kit is Skill Level 2 and the finished model measures approximately 18 inches long. The manufacturer specifies 47 parts, with paint and modelling cement required for assembly.
The kit is unassembled and the main model components remain contained within their plastic bags as photographed. Also included are the clear components, display base and support rod, assembly instructions and associated paperwork shown in the listing photographs. The kit includes the relevant registry and pennant markings for the NX-2000 and NCC-2000 versions.
The original illustrated 50th Anniversary Star Trek box is included. The packaging remains presentable but does show some light storage/handling wear around the edges, corners and flaps.
