An attractive antique framed steel engraving titled Sandgate, drawn by the renowned British topographical artist William Henry Bartlett (1809–1854) and engraved by James C. Allen.
The view depicts the historic coastal village of Sandgate, Kent, and is typical of Bartlett's detailed landscape illustrations produced during the early Victorian period. The engraving has been finished with delicate hand colouring, enhancing the townscape and surrounding landscape while retaining the fine engraved detail.

Good antique condition overall. The engraving displays well with age-related toning consistent with its age. The frame has some decorative loss and general wear commensurate with age.
