Obverse (Front)
Features a mature portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Grand Duchess Vladimir's Tiara. To the left stands Belize's national bird — the magnificent Keel-billed Toucan — depicted in stunning detail perched among tropical foliage. The Belize coat of arms rests at the lower center. A visually striking and iconic design unique to this high denomination issue.
Reverse (Back)
A breathtaking composite titled "Birds of Belize" — showcasing the remarkable avian biodiversity of this Central American nation. Featured species include the Brown Pelican, Magnificent Frigatebird, Brown Booby, Red-footed Booby, and Yellow-headed Parrot alongside the Keel-billed Toucan and Baird's Tapir in the bordered panel. This reverse is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful in the entire Central Bank of Belize series.
Collector's Note: The 1994 $100 is one of the scarcer dates in the Central Bank of Belize series and is seldom found in this quality. Queen Elizabeth II Belizean banknotes are increasingly sought after by Commonwealth collectors following her passing in September 2022. High denomination examples in Gem UNC condition command strong premiums in today's market.
