Bronze gold ladies rope wedge heel ties sequins beaded espadrille shoes UK 7 40

A pair of gorgeous vintage and rather rare ladies rope wedge heel espadrille style shoes with long 'ballet' style fine voile ankle ribbon ties,.. and an almond style covered toe.

A lovely mix of bronze and gold and covered in beautiful embroidery stitching, faux pearl beading and iridescent glass beads and sequins.
They have 'New Look' printed inside. I'm afraid my camera doesn't capture the beautiful colour quite as well as it should but they catch the light beautifully.

They are a size UK 7 or EU 40. They have a 3" rope covered heel ...measurement taken at the back (very highest) part.
They have been in storage for years. I don't actually remember wearing them, so if/when I did, it must have been only once or twice... a wedding maybe, so they are in very good vintage condition.

Please note: As with all things vintage, there maybe one or two sequins or beads missing or discoloured. I have checked them over and all appear to be attached well but the coating on the faux pearls has started to deteriorate. There is also some discoloration where the rope has been attached to the heels in places, this doesn't affect the wearing of them, and is simply something that often happens with adhesives over time sadly,.. I did have the rope heels spot treated/coated at the local cobblers several years ago, which has improved upon this and glued rope will always start to look a tad untidy anyway over time...it's part of the Espadrille styling... but they are still a perfectly wearable pair of beautiful shoes.These issues shouldn't be deemed as faults, they are simply down to age, and the way they were made and the older types of materials used,.. but I just need to mention it and make you aware of this.

I simply don't wear heels any more,.. so they need a new home. :)

As private sellers (I'm not a business seller) we're not actually obliged to accept returns unless an item is faulty or if something has been described incorrectly, as per Ebay's Private sellers policy...I sell items I no longer wear or have bought and then never worn,..and hence why I prefer to state 'no returns'.
However,..please contact me straight away if you find you have an issue with any item you have won or have bought from my Ebay listings, whether it's a BNWT or BNWOT or a USED item, as I'm always happy to help (just message me via Ebay) and I'm sure we'll be able resolve things... i.e. If I dont know there's a problem I can't really help. :)
You can see from my feedback that all the items I sell are good quality items (even stated as better than described in many cases), so simply leaving a neutral or negative feedback with no contact, or chance given for me to put it right, isn't the way to go.
