Dutch Delft Style Musical Decanter with Fully Working Thorens Swiss Music Box Moonlight Sonata
A charming vintage Dutch Delft style ceramic musical decanter featuring a genuine Thorens Swiss musical movement.

Decorated in traditional blue and white with windmill scenes, floral motifs and a musical score around the base, this decorative bottle retains its original cork stopper and concealed Thorens movement.

The musical mechanism is fully working and plays Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata when the decanter is lifted, stopping automatically when placed back down.

The base is fitted with a genuine Thorens, Made in Switzerland movement, while the ceramic body is marked Made in Holland.

Condition is very good vintage condition.

There are no chips, cracks or repairs noted. There are a few small brown spots visible inside the neck of the bottle from age and storage, which do not detract from its appearance. The musical mechanism operates as intended.
