PRL Talon-zip Game Pocket Hunting Jacket - mid 00s sportsman

Sleeper Polo archive piece. Mid-2000s spool-label sportsman jacket – think pre-RRL field coat: Talon hardware, game pocket, corduroy trims, the whole thing.

In the mid-2000s they ran a “haberdashery / 321 / spool label” story that re-cycled a lot of early Polo Country and pre-RRL hunting ideas – heavy twills, Talon zips, big game pockets, script “Ralph Lauren Est. 1967” patches. This jacket is from that era.

Condition

Good vintage condition with strong fabric

Nice even fade, light marks from wear = authentic patina

One small hole inside the back game pocket at the inner strap (doesn’t show when worn; pocket still functional)

No smells, rips or repairs elsewhere

Great piece if you’re into Polo Country / early RRL / vintage hunting and field jackets. Not common in this size/colour.
