Designed by Rapha's Angelo Trofa, the 2020 design was inspired by classic comic book art and the idea of revealing the superhero within — bold, vivid, and impossible to miss in the peloton.

The Aero Jersey is built using wind-tunnel-tested materials: smooth fabrics on the front panels to reduce drag on leading edges, and a textured directional-nap fabric on the back that further minimises air resistance. The back panel material is bonded internally to support the three rear pockets under load, with mesh lining at the pocket base for breathability. An extended zip placket prevents the zipper from rubbing against bib shorts when riding in an aggressive position. The valuables zip pocket features an easy-pull zip for one-handed access on the move. Silicone grippers at the hem keep the jersey locked in place under race conditions.
