Rare vintage Adam Ant 80's Strip Tour grey black raglan baseball tee t shirt L

A very, very rare and vintage 80's Adam Ant, 3/4 raglan sleeve baseball style top created by the late Stanley Desantis.(which in itself makes this an even rarer item).
100% cotton.

I guess it could be unisex, although I've listed it in Womens, as I had bought it for myself, many moons ago.

It has been worn (perhaps two or three times) and then washed and stored... So it is a used item, but it's in a good re-wearable condition.. please see any additional notes I've added below.
It states size Large...but please see measurements as this was made for the American market.

It measures approx. 21.5" flat across the front, underarm to underarm. Unstretched, there is further stretch to this being a cotton jersey type weave.

It measures approx. 27" in length taken from the back of the neck seam to the hem.

I'm not sure of exact year of manufacture but I guess it would have corresponded with Adam Ant US Strip Tour 1984 going by the wording and images...and it has the classic Ant logo on the reverse.
I've owned and worn several of these back in the day, and I wish to add that this is a bit thicker than many... more in line with sweat wear, but it's not fleecy backed, if that makes sense, but certainly a bit harder wearing than most.
I had it shipped over from America... but that was several years later.

It has a black body and grey marl colour sleeves.

It has a semi raw hem, in true baseball top style, it's been overlocked along the edge to avoid fraying but so that it rolls over a little, as is the style.

Please note: As far as I can see this top is in very good condition for it's age.. the only things I have noticed are that the neck ribbing has the very, very slightest signs of starting to yellow.. this happens with age on some paler and older items unfortunately. I have washed this recently in an attempt and improve on this,.. it is now much, much better/brighter (and it washes up well).
If you were to buy it and gently wash it again.. it's perfectly possible that it will improve further...i.e. the brighteners in most modern washing powders/liquids will help with this... but imho it really isn't terribly noticeable now anyway, but I wanted to mention it as it's also not something that shows up in the photos.
I've also noticed that the screen printed image has the tiniest signs of fine cracking, weirdly it only appears to be on the white parts of the images,.. but again this is inevitable with a heavy ish screen print on a stretchy fabric and happens over time and wearing and washing,.. this shouldn't be deemed a fault, but simply adds a little further character to a vintage item, after all it is over 35 years old.
...and none of this really affects the wearing of this rare and wonderful find.

It would be perfect for the collector of such things,.. either to keep or to wear,.. or as a gift for any Ant fan.
