Vintage 1980s Black White Check Short Sleeve Double Breasted Blazer UK 8-10

Proper 1980s short sleeve blazer jacket from Positive Attitude Petite, in a brilliant black and white micro check with striped ribbed collar and cuff trim.

The double-breasted front, broad padded shoulders and short boxy shape give it that fabulous 80s power-dressing feel, with the sporty trim making this one super preppy and unique.

It has six iridescent front buttons, wide lapels and a buttoned waist tab across the back. The thick shoulder pads can be removed if you prefer a softer shape.

The original label identifies it as part of a 2-piece set, but I don't have the other item. Jacket fabric is 53% rayon, 47% acetate. Made in USA.

Labelled Petite Size 4. Based on the measurements, I’d place this around a modern UK 8-10.
