Vintage 1980s Caramel Brown Batwing Shirt Dress Made in USA UK 8-10 Fit

Vintage 1980s caramel brown shirt dress with that easy slouchy shape the decade did so well. It has a pointed collar, button front, oversized chest pocket, relaxed batwing sleeves, an elasticated waist and a softly flowing midi skirt with side pockets.

Made in the USA from 53% acetate and 47% rayon. Labelled size 6. The upper body is deliberately roomy, with a much smaller elasticated waist, so I’d place this around a modern UK 8 to 10 depending on your preferred fit.

Pit to pit: 21"
Waist: approx. 8" relaxed, stretching to 12"
Shoulder to hem: 42"

The fabric has a soft fluid drape with a lightly crinkled texture, giving it a relaxed utility feel.

Very good vintage condition. No obvious flaws found!
