Films included: Through a Glass Darkly (1961) / Winter Light (1962) / The Silence (1963) — the three thematically linked films Bergman made between 1961 and 1963 exploring man's relationship to God and the futility of spiritual belief, all photographed by Bergman's longtime collaborator Sven Nykvist.
