Crosslist from eBay to Bidzzy: A UK Marketplace with No Seller Fees
Who Bidzzy suits, how its buyer-paid fee compares with eBay's business rates, the 5-day dispatch and 72-hour rules, and what FLUF does on each side.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
- This route suits UK eBay sellers, private or business, who want a second UK marketplace without a second set of fees.
- Bidzzy charges sellers nothing. Buyers pay a protection fee of 3% to 7.5% plus 25p to 70p, capped at £16.99.
- Bidzzy asks you to dispatch within five calendar days and releases funds to your Bidzzy Wallet 72 hours after delivery.
- FLUF sees eBay sales and ends the Bidzzy listing. A Bidzzy sale you mark sold in FLUF, which then ends the eBay listing.

Who should add Bidzzy
Bidzzy is a small UK marketplace for new and pre-loved goods that has built its pitch around one line: no subscription, no listing fees, and no commission taken from your sale price. The seller receives the item price. The buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee on top, shown on the listing as an item price plus a protection amount, and Bidzzy generates a prepaid shipping label when the item sells.
It is a young marketplace, so it will not replace eBay’s traffic. It works as an extra shelf. The eBay sellers who fit are the ones already listing everyday UK stock in quantity: clothing, homeware, toys, tech accessories, collectables. Since FLUF creates the Bidzzy listings from your eBay ones, the cost of trying it is a few minutes rather than an afternoon.
How the costs compare
For a UK private seller, eBay is already free. Its help page says it is free to sell for UK-based private sellers, with 300 free listings a month and fees only for optional upgrades or overseas delivery. For a business seller the picture is different. eBay’s business fee page lists a final value fee of 11.9% in Clothes, Shoes & Accessories, with different rates in other categories, and shop subscriptions from £27 a month for a Basic Shop.
Bidzzy charges the seller nothing in either case. Its Why Bidzzy page puts the Buyer Protection fee at typically 3% to 7.5% of the item price plus a fixed 25p to 70p, capped at £16.99, and the buyer pays it. For a business seller that means a £50 jumper nets £50 on Bidzzy and about £44 on eBay before postage and any shop fee. Price your Bidzzy listing at the eBay item price and let the buyer see the protection fee added, or shave a little off to make the total match.
eBay habits to change on Bidzzy
- Dispatch inside five days. Bidzzy’s private seller page gives you five calendar days to dispatch. Slow posting is what most often costs a new seller here.
- Money arrives in a wallet. Funds are released to your Bidzzy Wallet 72 hours after the buyer receives the item, and you withdraw them yourself. eBay pays out to your bank on its own schedule.
- Disputes are quick. Buyers have 72 hours after delivery to raise a dispute, and private sales have no change-of-mind returns. Business sellers must accept cancellation within 14 days under distance-selling rules, and their funds are released after that window.
- Businesses show their details. A business seller on Bidzzy must give its legal or registered name, a geographic business address and a contact email for buyers, much as an eBay business account does.
What FLUF does on each side
| eBay | Bidzzy | |
|---|---|---|
| How you connect | Sign in with your eBay account | Your Bidzzy account details |
| Bring existing listings into FLUF | Yes | Yes |
| FLUF sees a sale here | Yes | No, mark it sold in FLUF |
| FLUF ends the listing here when it sells elsewhere | Yes | Yes |
| Relisting and offer management | Included from the Seller plan upwards | No |
In practice an eBay sale looks after itself: FLUF records it and the Bidzzy listing comes down. A Bidzzy sale needs one click in FLUF, after which the eBay listing ends. Make that click when Bidzzy’s sale notification arrives, before you print the label.
