Vinted to Kidora: Sell Outgrown Kids’ Clothes to UK Parents Only
Which items from a Vinted kids’ wardrobe belong on Kidora, what each side charges, and what FLUF does when one of them sells.
Most parents who sell on Vinted end up with a wardrobe of outgrown sleepsuits, school shoes and coats, listed next to millions of adult items. Kidora is a UK marketplace where every buyer is shopping for a baby or a child. FLUF Connect can copy those Vinted listings to Kidora and take one down when the other sells, so a single pair of wellies is never sold twice.
In short
- Send only baby, children’s, pregnancy and feeding items. Your own clothes stay on Vinted.
- Neither marketplace takes a selling fee. Kidora’s buyers pay 5% of the price plus 70p on top.
- Kidora pays through PayPal, and you have to connect PayPal on Kidora before your listings can go live.
- A sale on either side comes into FLUF and the other listing comes down.
Who this route suits
A UK seller who clears out children’s things in batches: bundles of baby clothes by age, school uniform, toys, books, and the bulky kit that is awkward to post. Vinted is good at volume, and a toddler coat there competes with every other coat in the search. On Kidora the same coat sits among items for children only, in front of buyers who arrived looking for that age range. Kidora is UK-only, so sellers on Vinted’s other country sites should skip this page.
What to send and what to keep
| Send to Kidora | Keep on Vinted only |
|---|---|
| Children’s clothes, shoes, school uniform and fancy dress | Women’s and men’s clothing |
| Toys, games, books and learning items | Adult shoes, bags and accessories |
| Pushchairs, car seats, nursery furniture, bedding and feeding gear | General homeware and electronics |
| Bundles sorted by age, such as five sleepsuits for 0–3 months | Anything recalled or unsafe for a child |
Kidora’s how-it-works page asks you to list an item as new only when it is unused, and to describe wear on anything preloved. For a used car seat, cot or bouncer, check the recall list on GOV.UK before you send it anywhere.
What each side charges
Vinted’s UK help centre says there are no fees for uploading or selling items, and its price list puts the fee at checkout on the buyer. Kidora works the same way. Its fee policy charges the buyer a Kidora Fee of 5% of the item price plus £0.70, which includes Buyer Protection, and its terms say sellers pay no listing or selling fees.
| £20 bundle | Vinted | Kidora |
|---|---|---|
| Fee taken from you | £0 | £0 |
| Fee the buyer adds | Vinted’s fee at checkout | £1.70 (5% of £20, plus 70p) |
| You receive, before payment costs | £20 | £20 |
| Payout | Vinted balance | PayPal; standard sellers’ funds are generally held for seven days |
So you can keep the same price on both. The difference is reach and speed of payout, not your margin.
Posting and collection
Kidora offers InPost delivery, local collection or both on each listing. For InPost you pick parcel size A, B or C, and Kidora needs a saved sender and return address before it accepts the listing. Its terms expect you to dispatch within 48 hours. Local collection suits a pushchair or a high chair that would cost more to post than it sells for. The buyer still pays through Kidora first, so you hand over an item that is already paid for.
Photos need more care than on Vinted. Kidora’s photo upload policy rules out stock images, and new photos go through an automated check, and Kidora can reject a photo where a child can be identified or personal details show. Before you send a batch, look through your Vinted photos for school name tapes and children in the frame.
How to send Vinted items to Kidora
- Connect Vinted through the FLUF browser extension or the FLUF mobile app, so your listings appear in your FLUF inventory.
- On Kidora, connect PayPal and save a sender address. Until PayPal is connected, buyers cannot see your listings.
- Connect Kidora from its card on the Channels screen in FLUF Connect.
- Filter your inventory to Vinted, select the children’s items and choose Kidora as the destination.
- Check the category, condition and parcel size on each item, review the price and publish.

Age ranges are worth a second look. Vinted sellers often put the age in the title only, while Kidora buyers browse by category and size. Make sure the size field says “2–3 years” and not only the title.
