Ginger Aardbei discovered her love for dressing and styling people whilst working for several fashion brands as a stylist, store manager, and visual merchandiser. While living in Paris in 2013, she discovered that her love for vintage became stronger and stronger. She would source and remake vintage items and send them to the Netherlands to pay for her rent.
Once she moved back, she started her own Facebook page named Ginger Aardbei. She started the company and opened her first office while studying in 2015. After graduating with her own company in 2018, she went full-time with Ginger Aardbei. Now the brand is located in the heart of Amsterdam.
The vintage pre-loved pieces of Ginger Aardbei are collected from all around the world. Paris, London, Lisboa, Sweden, Norway, Bali, India, and Ibiza are her favorite spots. Each gem is selected based on the fabric, fitting, and look.
