How to Sell on Kidora: fees, InPost delivery and payouts
Which items Kidora accepts, what it charges sellers and buyers, how InPost delivery and payouts work, and how to list on Kidora from FLUF Connect.
- Fit: Kidora sells baby, children’s, pregnancy and feeding items, and it is UK-only.
- Seller fees: none to list or sell. You keep the price you set, less payment costs and refunds.
- Buyer fee: the Kidora Fee, 5% of the price plus £0.70, which includes Buyer Protection.
- Delivery: InPost lockers or home delivery, with the buyer paying the delivery price at checkout. Local collection is also available.
- Payouts: through PayPal. Standard sellers usually wait seven days.
- Cross-list with FLUF Connect: list on Kidora alongside your other marketplaces. A sale on Kidora removes the item elsewhere. Crosslist from eBay to Kidora.
Is Kidora Right for Your Stock?
Kidora takes baby and children’s items, from clothes, shoes, toys and books to pushchairs, car seats, nursery furniture and school items, plus pregnancy and feeding items such as pregnancy pillows, support belts, postpartum care, breast pumps and breastfeeding accessories. Only send items that fit Kidora’s baby, children’s, pregnancy and feeding categories. Adult clothing (including maternity wear), general electronics, general homeware and other unsupported products are excluded. Kidora is UK-only, buyers are in the UK, and you must be 18 or over to register.
What Is Kidora?
Kidora is a UK marketplace where parents buy and sell new and preloved baby and children’s items. Sellers list an item with a category, choose InPost delivery, local collection or both, and set the price. Buyers pay through Kidora, and the sale is completed on the platform. Kidora runs on the web and as iOS and Android apps.

Why Sell on Kidora?
You keep the price you set
Kidora does not charge sellers a listing fee or a commission on the item price. The buyer pays the Kidora Fee on top of your price. So a £30 item is £30 for you, and the buyer’s total is higher by the fee.
Local and nationwide options in one place
A parent can collect a nearby item in person, or have it posted by InPost. Many children’s items are bulky or awkward to post, so local collection suits them. Items you can post can go to a buyer anywhere in the UK.
Buyer Protection is part of the sale
Buyer Protection is included in the buyer’s Kidora Fee, so eligible problems go through Kidora’s order process. Buyers have a short window after delivery to report a problem, so answer order messages quickly.
How Much Does It Cost to Sell on Kidora?
Sellers pay Kidora nothing to list or sell. The amounts that matter are the buyer’s Kidora Fee, any payment-provider costs, and refunds.
Seller listing and selling fees
There are none. Kidora’s terms say sellers keep the price they set, subject to payment-provider costs, refunds, reversals and chargebacks.
The Kidora Fee, paid by buyers
Eligible paid purchases carry the Kidora Fee: 5% of the price plus £0.70. It applies to purchases from standard sellers and Pro Sellers, and it pays for payment handling, refund help, customer support and Buyer Protection.
Delivery, paid by buyers
For InPost delivery, the buyer pays the delivery price shown at checkout. You choose a parcel size, but you do not set the postage price.
Payment-provider costs
PayPal processes Kidora payments. Kidora says payment-provider costs can apply to seller amounts. Its public pages do not give the rate, so check your own PayPal statement for the figure.
Worked example: what you receive on a £30 item
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Item price you set | £30.00 |
| Kidora Fee paid by the buyer (5% of £30 = £1.50, plus £0.70) | £2.20 |
| Buyer’s total before delivery | £32.20 |
| Delivery price | Shown at checkout, depends on parcel size |
| Your listing and selling fees on Kidora | £0.00 |
| You receive, before payment-provider costs | £30.00 |
Costs to watch
- Refunds and chargebacks come off what you receive.
- Parcel size: moving to a larger size before dispatch means you pay the difference. Moving to a smaller size costs nothing extra.
- FLUF Connect is a separate paid plan. See the pricing section below.
How to Set Up Your Kidora Seller Account
- Sign up in the Kidora app or at kidora.uk. You must be 18 or over.
- Add a saved sender and return address. InPost listings need one.
- Choose your seller type. If you sell as a business, use a separate Pro Seller account with a Pro label.
- Connect PayPal on Kidora. Until you do, buyers can’t see your Kidora listings.
- Connect your Kidora account in FLUF Connect from the Channels page, if you want to list from FLUF.
How to Create Kidora Listings That Sell
Titles: name the item, brand, size and condition
Put the details buyers search for at the front of the title. Kidora’s listing form sets the title length limit.
Before: "Baby clothes bundle"
After: "Bundle of 5 sleepsuits, 0-3 months, good used condition"
Descriptions: say what a parent needs to know
Give the size or age range, brand, condition, any marks or faults, washing or usage notes, and what is included. If a car seat, cot or bouncer has been used, say so. Do not include personal details, and do not ask for payment or contact details outside Kidora, because Kidora’s terms prohibit taking transactions off the platform.
Pricing: check what similar items sell for
Search Kidora for similar items before you set a price. Buyers see your price plus the Kidora Fee, so a £30 listing shows as £32.20 at checkout before delivery.
Categories: pick the closest match
Kidora asks for a category and a subcategory. The top-level categories include Clothing & Outfits, Shoes & Footwear, Toys & Games, Books & Learning, Sleep & Bedding, Nursing & Feeding, Bathing & Changing, Pushchairs, Carriers & Car Seats, Furniture & Decor, Childproofing & Safety, School Supplies and Other Kids’ Items. Choose the closest subcategory, because it decides where buyers find the item.
Condition: be accurate about used items
Choose New only for unused items. Anything used should be listed as preloved, with the wear described in the description and shown in the photos.
Safety: check recalls before you list
Kidora can remove listings for recalled or unsafe items. Before you list older equipment such as car seats, cots or bouncers, check GOV.UK’s product safety alerts.
Photos That Meet Kidora’s Rules
Buyers decide from the photos, and a photo that breaks Kidora’s rules can stop the listing from being submitted.
- Use your own photos of the actual item. Stock images, catalogue images and photos copied from other sellers are not allowed.
- Show the front, back and sides. Photograph every mark, fault, repair or missing part.
- Keep children and faces out of frame. Kidora may crop, blur or reject a photo where a person, especially a child, is clearly identifiable.
- Remove personal details. Addresses, school names, documents and payment details should not appear in any photo.
- Expect an automated check. Kidora screens new photos with AI. A rejected photo blocks the listing until you remove or replace it.
Shipping, Collection and Returns on Kidora
| Option | Who pays for delivery | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| InPost locker | Buyer, at the price shown at checkout | Drop the parcel at an InPost point using the QR code in the app. No printer is needed. |
| InPost home delivery | Buyer, at the price shown at checkout | Available where you have enabled it. Print the label and attach it before drop-off. |
| Local collection | No delivery cost | The buyer pays through Kidora first. Collection is then arranged privately through Kidora messages. |
Parcel sizes
Each InPost listing uses size A (Small), B (Medium) or C (Large). Measure the packed parcel before you choose. A smaller size before dispatch costs nothing extra. A larger size costs the difference.
Dispatch and tracking
Kidora’s terms say sellers normally dispatch within 48 hours. InPost tracking updates automatically, so you do not mark an InPost order as shipped yourself.
Local collection
Complete the sale on Kidora before you hand over the item. Kidora’s rules say collection does not mean cash on collection, and sellers must not arrange payment off the platform.
Returns and problems
Purchases from standard private sellers generally do not include a change-of-mind return right. They can report a significant problem through Kidora’s order process within the time set in the refund policy. Pro Sellers’ buyers may have extra statutory rights. The full rules are in Kidora’s refund policy.
Getting Paid on Kidora and UK Tax
How and when you get paid
Kidora processes payments through PayPal. For a standard private seller, funds are generally held for seven days so that eligible issues can be reported. A reported issue, a refund or a payment review can hold funds for longer. Pro Sellers have different timing.
Pro Sellers
If you sell as a business, Kidora asks you to use a Pro Seller account. It must be kept separate from any personal account, and it shows a Pro label to buyers. Pro Sellers are responsible for their own consumer law obligations.
UK tax
Selling unwanted personal belongings usually does not attract Income Tax. Buying or making goods to sell for profit can count as trading. The £1,000 trading allowance may apply, subject to HMRC’s conditions. This is general guidance, not tax advice. Ask a qualified accountant about your situation.
Common Mistakes Kidora Sellers Make
- Taking payment outside Kidora. Kidora prohibits off-platform payments, including cash on collection. Take payment through Kidora first, then hand the item over.
- Using stock photos. Kidora requires photos of the real item. Photograph it yourself, flaws included.
- Choosing the wrong parcel size. A larger size before dispatch costs the difference. Measure the packed parcel before you list.
- Listing recalled equipment. Kidora can remove recalled or unsafe items. Check GOV.UK’s safety alerts first.
- Leaving sold items live elsewhere. An item left live on another marketplace can sell twice. FLUF removes a Kidora sale from your other marketplaces, and ends the Kidora listing when the item sells elsewhere.
- Forgetting the sender address. InPost listings cannot be created without a saved sender and return address.
Cross-List Your Kidora Items with FLUF Connect
FLUF Connect lists your items on Kidora alongside your other marketplaces, from one place. When an item sells on Kidora, FLUF removes it from your other marketplaces. When it sells elsewhere, FLUF ends the Kidora listing. Compare the other marketplace guides on the channels page.
Title, description and price edits you make in FLUF update the Kidora listing. Photo, category and condition changes do not reach a live Kidora listing, so make those changes on Kidora. FLUF lists to Kidora, but it does not import listings you created on Kidora directly. How often FLUF checks for sales depends on your FLUF plan, which is set out on the pricing page.
| Crosslisting | List to Kidora from FLUF Connect. |
| Inventory Sync | When an item sells elsewhere, FLUF takes it off Kidora for you. |
| Order Sync | Sales on Kidora appear in FLUF by themselves. |
How it works
- Connect Kidora from the Channels page in FLUF Connect.
- Select the items to crosslist and check the category, price and photos before you publish.
- Stay in sync. A Kidora sale takes the item off your other marketplaces, and a sale elsewhere ends the Kidora listing.
Pricing
New accounts start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month. Crosslisting and inventory sync are included on every plan. The pricing page shows which plans add automation such as relisting and offer management.
