Selling Online from Lithuania: Vinted.lt, Temu and What FLUF Connects
Which marketplaces a Lithuanian seller can run from one inventory, what they cost in euros, and which local sites stay manual.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
- From Lithuania, FLUF Connect lists to Vinted (vinted.lt), Temu and La Redoute, plus worldwide channels such as eBay, Etsy and Depop.
- Vinted was founded in Vilnius in 2008, and vinted.lt is the natural first channel for second-hand clothes. Uploading is free and the buyer pays a protection fee, usually 5% + €0.70.
- Lithuania has used the euro since 2015, and its standard VAT rate is 21%.
- Skelbiu.lt classified ads and the Pigu.lt marketplace are outside FLUF, so anything listed there stays a manual job.
Who this page is for
You sell from Lithuania. You might be clearing a wardrobe on Vinted, running a side business in vintage or collectables, or selling new goods as a registered company. This page shows which marketplaces you can run from one inventory with FLUF Connect, and which local sites you will still handle by hand. If you only sell locally for cash, a classified ad is simpler than any of this.
What you can reach, and what FLUF does there
| Marketplace | Good for | After a sale |
|---|---|---|
| Vinted (vinted.lt) | Private sellers of clothes, shoes, kids’ items and home goods | FLUF sees the Vinted sale and ends your other listings, and removes the Vinted listing when the item sells elsewhere. Relisting and offers come with plans above Starter. |
| Temu | Registered businesses selling new goods | FLUF sees the Temu order and ends your other listings, and removes the Temu listing when the item sells elsewhere. |
| La Redoute | Fashion and home brands admitted to its marketplace | FLUF lists only. Keep La Redoute stock in step yourself. |
| eBay and Depop | Collectables, branded and streetwear pieces for buyers abroad | Sales seen both ways. Relisting and offers on plans above Starter. |
| Etsy | Handmade work, vintage of 20 years or older, craft supplies | Sales seen both ways. Relisting on plans above Starter. |
| Shopify | Sellers with their own web shop | FLUF sees Shopify orders and updates Shopify stock when the item sells elsewhere. |
Crosslisting and inventory sync are part of every FLUF plan.

Vinted.lt, on its home ground
Vinted started in Vilnius in 2008, founded by Milda Mitkutė and Justas Janauskas, and the company is still headquartered there (Wikipedia). For Lithuanian sellers that means a large local buyer base and a site in Lithuanian.
The vinted.lt how-it-works page opens with “Įkelk nemokamai” (upload at no charge). The buyer pays. The vinted.lt price list says the protection fee is usually “5 % nuo kainos ir 0,70 € fiksuota suma” (5% of the price and a fixed €0.70).
A €15 dress therefore costs the buyer €15.75 plus €0.70, which is €16.45 before postage, and you receive €15. On a €3 top the fee adds €0.85, more than a quarter of the price, so bundling cheap pieces helps them sell.
Three things that make Lithuania different
- The euro. Lithuania joined the euro area in 2015, according to the European Central Bank. Prices on vinted.lt, eBay’s euro sites and other euro-area marketplaces compare directly, with no exchange cost on payouts.
- 21% VAT. Lithuania’s standard VAT rate is 21%. That matters to a VAT-registered business selling new stock. Selling your own used clothes as a private person is a different situation, so check with the tax authority if your sales grow into a trade.
- Parcel machines everywhere. Lithuanians are used to collecting from parcel machines. Omniva says it added 40 machines in Lithuania in its latest expansion and runs the largest parcel machine network in the Baltics, 1,321 machines across the three countries. Each marketplace sets its own delivery options, so check which carriers a buyer can choose before you promise one.
What stays manual
Lithuanian buyers also shop on Skelbiu.lt classifieds and the Pigu.lt marketplace. FLUF connects to neither. If a coat is listed on Vinted and on Skelbiu.lt, FLUF ends the Vinted listing when the coat sells on another FLUF channel, but the Skelbiu.lt ad is yours to take down. If it sells on Skelbiu.lt, mark it sold in FLUF so your other listings end.
