Poshmark to Stripe: Sell to Your Regulars Without the 20% Cut
How Poshmark sellers in the US and Canada use Stripe Payment Links for repeat customers and pop-ups, what each sale costs, and how to keep one closet in step.
A Poshmark closet builds up regulars: the buyer who bundles with you every month, or the follower who asks if you have anything else in their size. Stripe gives those people a checkout that is yours. FLUF Connect turns the items in your Poshmark inventory into Stripe products, each with a Payment Link and a QR code, so you can send a link in a message or hang a code on a rail at a pop-up.
In short
- Use Stripe for people who already know you. Poshmark is still where strangers find your closet.
- On a $60 item, Poshmark’s fee is reported at $12. Stripe’s standard US card rate comes to $2.04, with no monthly fee.
- A Poshmark sale comes into FLUF and the Stripe link stops taking payments.
- FLUF does not see a Stripe payment. Mark the item sold in FLUF and the Poshmark listing comes down.
Where a Stripe link is worth having
- Repeat buyers. Someone who has bought from you three times does not need Poshmark to introduce you.
- Pop-ups and flea markets. Print a QR code for your better pieces, and the buyer pays on their own phone while you serve someone else.
- Your own followers. A link in an Instagram story reaches people who have never installed Poshmark.
It is the wrong tool for a buyer who found you on Poshmark. Keep that sale on Poshmark, where shipping and buyer protection come with it. Under Posh Protect, a buyer has three days after delivery to report a problem, and then the payment is released to you. A Payment Link books no shipping and gives you no such process, so you handle postage and any dispute yourself.
What a $60 sale costs
Poshmark’s fee is reported as a flat $2.95 on sales under $15 and 20% at $15 or more, with card processing included, according to Voolist’s 2026 fee breakdown. Your Poshmark sales screen shows the exact amount for your account. Stripe’s US pricing page lists 2.9% + 30¢ per successful domestic card payment, with no setup or monthly fees, and Payment Links are part of that.
| $60 dress | On Poshmark | By Stripe link |
|---|---|---|
| Fee | $12.00 | $2.04 |
| You keep, before postage | $48.00 | $57.96 |
| Who posts it and pays for it | Poshmark’s prepaid label, paid by the buyer | You agree it with the buyer |
| How the buyer found you | Poshmark’s feed and search | You already knew each other |
The $9.96 difference is what you pay Poshmark for its audience and its shipping. If you are also printing a label yourself and giving a regular a small discount, the gap narrows. Stripe wins on the sales you would have made anyway, and those are the only sales to send there.
How to send Poshmark items to Stripe
- Connect Poshmark in FLUF Connect through the FLUF browser extension or the FLUF mobile app. Your closet appears in your FLUF inventory.
- Connect Stripe from its card on the Channels screen and approve the FLUF Connect app when Stripe asks.
- Filter the inventory to Poshmark and select the pieces you want a link for.
- Choose Stripe as the destination, check the price and publish.

Each item becomes a Stripe product with a link limited to the quantity you hold. Stripe’s sharing guide shows how to download the QR code. A Payment Link charges one fixed price, so settle any discount first. A price change in FLUF creates a new link, and a code you printed earlier will not match.
Keeping the closet right
| What happens | Result |
|---|---|
| It sells on Poshmark | FLUF picks up the sale and the Stripe link stops taking payments |
| A buyer pays by the Stripe link | FLUF does not see it. Mark the piece sold, which takes down the Poshmark listing |
| You sell it for cash at a pop-up | Mark it sold in FLUF. The Poshmark listing and the link both stop |
| You want to relist or send offers on Poshmark | Available through FLUF on Pro and above. Neither is available on Stripe |
The risk is the time between a Stripe payment and you marking it sold. Check your Stripe Dashboard before you ship anything from Poshmark, and clear sold pieces at the end of a pop-up before you pack up the rail.
What FLUF costs

Frequently Asked Questions
To give repeat buyers, followers and pop-up customers a way to pay you directly by link or QR code. Buyers who found you on Poshmark should still buy on Poshmark.
On a $60 item, Poshmark's reported 20% fee is $12. Stripe's standard US rate of 2.9% + 30¢ is $2.04. Poshmark's fee also covers its audience and its shipping setup, which a Stripe link does not.
Not by itself, because FLUF does not see Stripe payments. Mark the item sold in FLUF and it comes down from Poshmark.
FLUF picks up the sale and the item's Stripe link stops taking payments.
A link charges one fixed price. Change the price in FLUF first. That creates a new link, so send the new one and replace any printed code.
No. A Payment Link takes the payment and books no carrier, so you arrange and pay for postage and agree it with the buyer.
