Crosslist from Wallapop to Subito: Reach Italy’s Biggest Classifieds Site
Why Italian Wallapop sellers add Subito, how TuttoSubito shipping and payment work, what stays manual, and what FLUF does on each side.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
- This route suits Italian Wallapop sellers who want the same items in front of Subito‘s 26 million monthly visitors.
- Subito’s TuttoSubito service takes no commission from the seller. The buyer pays the shipping and the payment is released when the parcel is delivered.
- Subito is a classifieds site with buyer-collect and cash sales, so more of the work stays with you than on Wallapop.
- FLUF publishes your Wallapop listings to Subito and sees Wallapop sales. Subito sales and ending an ad on Subito are your job.

Who should add Subito
Wallapop arrived in Italy in 2021 and by its second anniversary had passed six and a half million downloads there. Subito has been the default place Italians sell things since 2007. Its about page puts it at more than 26 million users a month and 13 million live ads a day across 38 categories. If your buyers are in Italy, most of them are already on Subito.
The sellers who gain most are the ones with items that Italians search for locally: furniture, bikes, children’s gear, phones, tools, and clothing in the mid range. A Wallapop seller shipping designer pieces across Europe gains less, because Subito’s shipping service covers Italy only.
How the costs are built
On Wallapop, listing is free and the buyer pays for the integrated shipping and for Wallapop’s protection. Its shipping terms say the buyer pays a shipping cost that depends on the parcel’s weight and the delivery type, plus a protection cost that depends on the item’s price, and they list Poste Italiane, BRT and InPost among the carriers.
Subito’s TuttoSubito works much the same way for the seller: shipping is always paid by the buyer, you receive the full amount with no commission, and the payment is released once delivery is confirmed. Subito gives you the shipping label and tracking for parcels up to 20 kg, and the buyer can pay your price or send a purchase proposal. Where Subito differs is the free-ad allowance. Its general conditions say each category can carry a maximum number of free ads in a given period, after which further ads may be charged, and its promotion options are paid extras for visibility. Check the limit in your main category before you send a hundred items across.
Wallapop habits to change on Subito
- Expect cash and collection. Subito is a classifieds site first. Many buyers want to collect and pay in person, and a cash sale carries no Subito charge at all.
- Your ad carries a town and a phone number. When you connect Subito in FLUF you enter the town and phone number your ads will show, so decide in advance which ones you want public.
- Offer shipping on every ad you can. Ticking the shipping option on Subito is what puts an ad in front of buyers outside your town, and it is what lets TuttoSubito hold the payment for you.
- Check the category on your first ad. Subito’s category tree is broad, and the wrong branch means the wrong buyers. Review the first few ads FLUF creates before sending the rest.
What FLUF does on each side
| Wallapop | Subito | |
|---|---|---|
| How you connect | FLUF browser extension | FLUF browser extension, with the town and phone number for your ads |
| Bring existing listings into FLUF | Yes | Yes |
| FLUF sees a sale here | Yes | No, mark it sold in FLUF |
| FLUF ends the listing here when it sells elsewhere | No, end it on Wallapop yourself | No, end the ad on Subito yourself |
| Relisting and offer management | No | No |
Read that table before you start, because this pair is mostly manual. FLUF does the listing work: it takes your Wallapop items and posts them as Subito ads from one dashboard. When an item sells on Wallapop, FLUF records the sale, but you end the Subito ad yourself. When it sells on Subito, mark it sold in FLUF, then end the Wallapop listing yourself. If the same item is also on eBay, Vinted or your own shop, FLUF does end those listings for you when either side sells.
