Grailed to BigCommerce: Open Your Own Store Without Relisting
When a BigCommerce store makes sense for a Grailed seller, what each side costs, how FLUF Connect fills the store from your Grailed listings, and how stock stays in step.
Most Grailed sellers who open their own shop do it for the same reasons: a name buyers search for, repeat customers who ask “what else have you got?”, and a growing share of each sale going to fees. A BigCommerce store gives you that shop. FLUF Connect fills it from the listings you already have on Grailed, so the store opens with your stock on day one and the two never sell the same piece twice.
In short
- Keep Grailed for discovery and use BigCommerce for buyers who already know you. The store brings no traffic of its own.
- Grailed charges 9% on sales of $120 or more and 6% below that (minimum $1.99), plus processing. BigCommerce charges a monthly plan from $39 ($29 billed annually) and card processing from 2.89% + $0.29.
- A sale on your BigCommerce store comes into FLUF and the Grailed listing ends.
- Grailed does not report its sales to FLUF. When a piece sells there, mark it sold in FLUF and your store’s stock goes down.
When a store makes sense for a Grailed seller
A store pays off when people come back. If your Grailed reviews mention buying from you two or three times, if followers message you about new drops before they are listed, or if you run a curated archive with a recognisable eye, a store turns that into sales without commission.
A store does not pay off if all your buyers come from Grailed’s search. BigCommerce charges a monthly fee whether anyone visits or not, and a new store has no visitors until you send them. For many sellers the right answer is both: everything stays on Grailed, and the store sells to people who arrive from your Instagram, your mailing list or a card in each parcel.
What each side costs
Grailed’s fees page charges no listing fee and no subscription. Sellers pay 9% on sales of $120 and above, and 6% (minimum $1.99) under $120. Processing for sellers onboarded with Stripe is 3.49% + $0.49 on US domestic payments, according to Grailed’s processing fee article.
BigCommerce’s pricing page lists three plans, each with an annual sales ceiling:
| BigCommerce plan | Monthly | Billed annually |
|---|---|---|
| Core | $39 | $29 |
| Growth | $105 | $79 |
| Scale | $399 | $299 |
Card processing starts at 2.89% + $0.29. Stores using an outside payment provider pay a further 2%, 1% or 0.6% depending on plan.
On a $250 jacket, Grailed takes $22.50 commission plus $9.22 processing. The same jacket sold on your store costs $7.52 in processing. That is $24.20 saved on one piece, so two such sales a month cover the $29 Core plan billed annually.
How to send your Grailed listings to BigCommerce
- Connect Grailed in FLUF Connect through the FLUF browser extension or the FLUF mobile app. Your Grailed listings appear in your FLUF inventory.
- Connect your BigCommerce store from the Channels screen.
- Filter the inventory to Grailed and select the pieces you want in the store. Start with the ones that best show your eye, not the slowest sellers.
- Choose BigCommerce as the destination, check the prices and publish.

Your Grailed photos, title, description and price go to the store as a product. Check the first few in your store’s admin. Grailed listings often lean on shorthand that marketplace buyers know, such as “TTS”, “pit to pit” or a season code, and your store’s visitors may not. Spell out the measurements and the condition.
Think about price, too. Some sellers keep the store a little cheaper than Grailed to reward direct buyers. Others keep prices the same and add free returns. Either way, decide before you send the batch so you are not editing fifty products afterwards.
Keeping stock in step
| What happens | Result |
|---|---|
| Piece sells on your BigCommerce store | FLUF picks up the order and ends the Grailed listing |
| Piece sells on Grailed | FLUF does not see the sale. Mark it sold in FLUF and the store’s stock goes down |
| Relisting and offers | Not available through FLUF on Grailed |
The gap is a Grailed sale. Until you mark it sold, the piece is still in stock on your store and can take an order. Grailed accepts offers, so a sale can happen while you are away from your desk. Make marking it sold in FLUF the first thing you do when Grailed tells you, before you pack it.
Selling to buyers outside the US
Grailed’s international seller article says payouts to sellers outside the US can take up to seven extra business days. A UK or EU seller running a BigCommerce store can price it in their own currency and set their own shipping zones, while keeping Grailed for US buyers.
What FLUF costs
Crosslisting, inventory sync and order sync are on every FLUF plan, from £9 a month for Starter. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with Pro and above, but FLUF offers none of them on Grailed. You can start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
