Why an eBay seller adds Tise
There is no eBay site for Norway, Denmark or Finland, so Nordic sellers list on eBay’s international sites and often ship abroad. That works for collectables and branded goods with buyers everywhere. It works less well for a winter coat or a pair of boots, where postage and customs can cost a foreign buyer more than the item. Tise brings you the buyers down the road, with domestic shipping built in.
Tise is also owned by eBay now. eBay announced its agreement to acquire Tise in September 2025, describing it as a social marketplace headquartered in Oslo, with features for following sellers and liking and commenting on listings. The two apps remain separate, with separate accounts and listings, so you still need to list on each.
Tise suits fashion, children’s things, interiors and small household items. If you mainly sell car parts, trading cards or electronics to buyers abroad, keep those on eBay.
What Tise charges
Tise’s fees sit mostly with the buyer. Its service fee policy says the buyer pays a flat percentage of the item price, before shipping and tax, on every order placed through Tise checkout, and that the fee is not paid to the seller. The policy covers Denmark, Finland, Norway, Australia and Germany.
Sellers in Norway should read one more page. Tise’s seller protection article says it charges a service fee when you use its integrated payment, calculated from the agreed price in the offer. Check the figure in the app before you accept a bid, and set your Tise prices so your take-home matches what you would net on eBay.
How a Tise sale works
Selling on Tise feels more like a chat than a checkout. The buyer places a bid, and the amount is reserved on their card when they make the offer. Tise holds the money until the sale completes, and the buyer pays for shipping. When you accept, you get a shipping code in the chat to write on the parcel, then drop it at a parcel locker, post office or mailbox. In Norway, Tise’s help centre has shipping guides for Posten, Helthjem and Instabox.
Your money arrives within 1 to 5 business days after the buyer receives the package, and trusted sellers can be paid sooner. For local buyers, Tise’s Meet option keeps the payment in the app without shipping. The meeting must take place within 5 days of accepting the bid, and the buyer approves the item in the chat to complete the sale.

Both sides sync, so you do not need a manual step when something sells. An accepted bid on Tise takes the eBay listing down, and an eBay sale ends the Tise listing. Tise listings have their own limits, including a short title, so review each one before it goes live. A keyword-heavy eBay title usually needs trimming to read well on Tise.
