Crosslist from Facebook Marketplace to TikTok Shop (UK) — Automatically
Move eligible new-condition Facebook Marketplace inventory onto TikTok Shop's UK audience — FLUF Connect maps fields, uploads images, and marks TikTok Shop stock sold when an item sells on Facebook Marketplace.
- Facebook Marketplace: Meta’s local-first marketplace, reported at over 1 billion monthly users worldwide, strongest for used goods, furniture and local pickup
- TikTok Shop: TikTok’s in-app storefront, UK-only through FLUF, discovery-driven via video and live selling rather than search
- UK only: FLUF’s TikTok Shop connection is approved for United Kingdom sellers only — not a regional limitation elsewhere on the platform, but the current scope of FLUF’s own integration
- Fields that transfer automatically: title, description, up to 9 images, price (converted to GBP), stock quantity, and a best-effort brand match
- Inventory sync: one-directional today — sell it on Facebook Marketplace and FLUF drops the TikTok Shop stock; sell it on TikTok Shop and FLUF does not yet detect that sale (see “What Syncs” below)
- Cost: From £9/month after a 7-day trial for £1 — to start
FLUF’s TikTok Shop integration is approved for Great Britain only and currently supports creating, editing and delisting listings, plus marking TikTok Shop stock as sold when the item sells on another connected channel. It does not support order sync (a TikTok Shop sale is not yet pulled back into FLUF), auto-relisting, or offer management on TikTok Shop. Separately, TikTok Shop’s own seller policy restricts second-hand and used goods — see “Fields That Need Your Attention” below before you crosslist resale inventory.

Why Sell on Both Facebook Marketplace and TikTok Shop?
Crosslisting from Facebook Marketplace to TikTok Shop puts eligible inventory in front of UK buyers who discover products by scrolling video and live streams, not by searching a local classifieds feed. Facebook Marketplace sells on proximity and price; TikTok Shop sells on the content around the product. For the right inventory, that’s a genuinely different buyer, not just a bigger version of the same one.
Facebook Marketplace is reported by Meta to reach over 1 billion people a month, spanning nearly every country Facebook operates in. Buyers browse by location, want to negotiate, and are often shopping for a bargain they can collect that day. TikTok Shop UK is smaller and newer but converts differently: TikTok itself reports the UK market saw a 131% year-on-year rise in TikTok Shop shoppers, with beauty, fashion and home goods as the fastest-growing categories and roughly 200,000 active UK sellers already on the platform. Buyers arrive already warmed up by a video or a livestream, which tends to convert at a higher rate per visitor than a cold marketplace browse — but the audience is narrower, and, as covered below, TikTok Shop UK doesn’t accept every type of inventory.
| Facebook Marketplace | TikTok Shop (UK) | |
|---|---|---|
| Reach | 1B+ monthly users globally | UK-focused; ~200,000 active UK sellers on the platform |
| Discovery model | Location-based search and “nearby” feeds | Video, live selling, in-app storefront (Shop tab) |
| Primary categories | Everything — furniture, electronics, vehicles, clothing, home goods | Beauty, fashion and home goods are the fastest-growing (per TikTok’s own 2026 data) |
| New vs used | Both — a large share of Marketplace inventory is used or local pickup | New goods by default — used/second-hand is restricted (see below) |
| Seller fees | Free on local pickup; 10% or a $0.80 minimum on shipped-checkout orders | 9% commission, VAT-inclusive, on the item plus shipping |
| Who can sell | Any Facebook account | Sole traders and businesses, with UK government-issued ID — no company required |
Because FLUF’s TikTok Shop connection is UK-only, this pairing makes the most sense for sellers already running Facebook Marketplace as (or alongside) a UK business — someone moving new-condition stock, handmade goods, or overstock, rather than a pure secondhand-clothing reseller. If your Facebook Marketplace inventory is mostly used goods outside TikTok’s invite-only pre-owned categories, read the field-mapping section below before you crosslist — it explains exactly which items TikTok Shop will and won’t accept.
How to Crosslist from Facebook Marketplace to TikTok Shop with FLUF Connect
Crosslisting an eligible item from Facebook Marketplace to TikTok Shop UK takes a few minutes to set up and roughly 30 seconds per item after that. Here’s the exact flow.
1. Sign Up and Connect Facebook Marketplace
Create a FLUF Connect account and start your 7-day trial for £1 (). Install the FLUF Connect Chrome extension, open Facebook Marketplace, and connect through the extension — this is what lets FLUF read your Marketplace inventory and detect sales in the background. FLUF Mobile can also create, edit and delist Facebook Marketplace listings from your phone, but ongoing inventory reads and sold-detection currently need the extension connected on a desktop browser.
2. Connect TikTok Shop (UK)
Connect your TikTok Shop account through FLUF’s OAuth flow — no extension needed for TikTok Shop itself, since it’s a server-side API connection. You’ll need a UK TikTok Shop seller account already set up; registration accepts sole traders and businesses with UK government-issued ID, so this is open to individual sellers, not just registered companies.
3. Select Products to Crosslist
In the FLUF Connect dashboard, choose the Facebook Marketplace listings you want on TikTok Shop. Filter by category, price or brand, or select individually — this matters more for this pair than most, since you’ll want to filter out inventory TikTok Shop’s policy won’t accept (see the field mapping section below).
4. Review Field Mapping and Category
FLUF resolves a TikTok Shop category for each product — first via TikTok’s own category recommender based on your title, then via FLUF’s shared category-mapping pipeline as a fallback. Review the suggested category and any TikTok-mandatory attributes (some categories require specific product attributes TikTok won’t let you skip) before publishing.
5. Crosslist
Click crosslist. FLUF uploads up to 9 images, converts your price to GBP if needed, sets the stock quantity, and creates the TikTok Shop listing.
6. One-Directional Stock Sync Takes Over
From here, if the item sells on Facebook Marketplace, FLUF marks the TikTok Shop listing sold automatically. The reverse isn’t true yet — see “What Syncs” below before you rely on this for double-selling protection.
Auto-crosslisting rules: you can set rules so new Facebook Marketplace listings that match your criteria (category, price, brand) crosslist to TikTok Shop automatically, without a manual click each time.
What Transfers When You Crosslist from Facebook Marketplace to TikTok Shop?
Facebook Marketplace and TikTok Shop are structured very differently — Marketplace is a free-text local classifieds format, while TikTok Shop is an e-commerce catalogue with mandatory category attributes and a much stricter content policy on titles and descriptions. Here’s exactly what FLUF transfers, and what it changes to satisfy TikTok’s rules.
Field Mapping — Facebook Marketplace to TikTok Shop
| Facebook Marketplace Field | TikTok Shop Field | Transfer | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Title (up to ~100 characters) | Title | ✅ Automatic, sanitised | FLUF strips emojis, HTML entities, control characters and any run of 10+ identical characters before sending — TikTok Shop hard-rejects titles containing them. |
| Description | Description | ✅ Automatic, sanitised | Same sanitisation as the title. Falls back to the title text if no description is set. |
| Images (up to 10) | Images (up to 9) | ✅ Automatic | First 9 images transfer, primary image first. TikTok caps at 9; the 10th Facebook image is dropped. |
| Price | Sale price + list price | ✅ Automatic, converted | Converted to GBP if the source listing is priced in another currency, since FLUF’s TikTok Shop app is GB-only. |
| Category (broad, free-form) | Category (TikTok’s leaf taxonomy) | ⚡ Smart mapped | Resolved first via TikTok’s own AI category recommender from your title, then FLUF’s shared category-mapping pipeline as a fallback. Every category has its own mandatory attribute set that TikTok enforces at listing time. |
| Condition | Not a standard field | ❌ Not applicable | TikTok Shop doesn’t have a general condition field the way Facebook, eBay or Vinted do — condition is only relevant inside the specific pre-owned categories covered below. |
| Brand (free text) | Brand (validated catalogue) | ⚡ Best-effort matched | FLUF attempts to resolve a brand ID against TikTok’s catalogue. Unmatched or unusual spellings are sent without a brand rather than blocking the listing. |
| Stock quantity | SKU inventory | ✅ Automatic | Set from your product stock, minimum 1. Requires a TikTok warehouse to be provisioned on your shop, which usually happens within a couple of minutes of connecting. |
| Location (for local pickup) | — | ❌ Not applicable | TikTok Shop is a shipped, national storefront — there’s no local-pickup equivalent, so location data isn’t used. |
| — | Mandatory category attributes | ⚠️ Manual review | Many TikTok categories require specific attributes (material, size, colour, etc.) Facebook listings don’t capture — review these in the crosslist preview before publishing. |
| — | Certifications (some categories) | ⚠️ Manual, some categories blocked | Certain categories require certifications FLUF cannot supply — those categories aren’t offered as mapping targets. |
Legend: ✅ Automatic — transfers directly, no action needed. ⚡ Smart mapped — FLUF converts between the platforms’ different systems. ⚠️ Manual — needs your review or input. ❌ Not applicable — the field doesn’t exist, or doesn’t apply, on the destination.
Fields That Need Your Attention
TikTok Shop’s Prohibited Products Policy states that second-hand, used and open-box products are prohibited on TikTok Shop unless approved to sell in the pre-owned luxury handbag and collectibles categories — a small, invite-only set covering pre-owned trading cards, bags, and luggage & travel. This is TikTok’s own platform policy, not a FLUF limitation, and it applies regardless of which crosslisting tool you use. Facebook Marketplace inventory that’s genuinely new, handmade, or made-to-order crosslists cleanly. Used clothing, furniture, electronics and general resale inventory — the bulk of a typical Facebook Marketplace seller’s stock — is not eligible for TikTok Shop UK today. Filter your crosslist selection accordingly.
Beyond the condition rule, three other things are worth checking before you crosslist a batch:
- Category attributes: TikTok enforces mandatory attributes per category (material, size chart type, safety information) that a Facebook Marketplace listing simply doesn’t have. FLUF surfaces these in the crosslist preview; a category that demands a certification FLUF can’t provide won’t be offered as a target.
- Title and description formatting: Facebook listings often contain emoji, symbol-only phrases, or copy-pasted characters that trip TikTok’s content filters. FLUF’s sanitiser handles the common cases automatically, but very sparse or symbol-heavy titles may still need a human rewrite.
- Currency and pricing: prices convert to GBP automatically, but factor in TikTok’s 9% commission (VAT-inclusive) plus any shipping cost you absorb — Facebook Marketplace local-pickup pricing habits don’t always leave enough margin once TikTok’s fee and shipping come out.
Inventory Sync Between Facebook Marketplace and TikTok Shop — What Stays in Sync?
This is the section to read carefully for this specific pair, because the sync is one-directional today, not the “sells anywhere, removed everywhere” behaviour some other FLUF pairs offer.
| Event | What Happens | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Item sells on Facebook Marketplace | ✅ TikTok Shop listing is marked sold / stock dropped | Requires the FLUF browser extension to be connected — it periodically checks your Marketplace inventory in the background and reports sales back to FLUF. |
| Item sells on TikTok Shop | ❌ Not currently detected | FLUF’s TikTok Shop order-reading is not built yet, so a TikTok Shop sale does not automatically remove or delist the item on Facebook Marketplace. You’ll need to delist it there manually. |
| Price changed on Facebook Marketplace | Not automatically pushed to TikTok Shop | Update in the FLUF dashboard to push changes to both. |
| Description edited on Facebook Marketplace | Not automatically pushed to TikTok Shop | Same — re-crosslist or edit via the dashboard. |
| Item relisted on Facebook Marketplace | No effect on the TikTok Shop listing | — |
| Item deleted on TikTok Shop | No effect on Facebook Marketplace | — |
Because a TikTok Shop sale isn’t fed back to FLUF yet, an item that sells on TikTok Shop can still show as available on Facebook Marketplace until you delist it by hand. For low-stock or one-off items — which is most Facebook Marketplace inventory — check TikTok Shop’s order screen regularly, or keep quantities in sync manually until FLUF’s TikTok Shop order sync ships. This is the single biggest operational thing to know before crosslisting into this pair at scale.
Crosslisting from Facebook Marketplace to TikTok Shop: Before and After FLUF Connect
Without FLUF Connect (Manual Crosslisting)
- Open Facebook Marketplace, find the listing
- Save each photo individually (up to 10 images)
- Open TikTok Shop Seller Center, start a new listing
- Upload photos one by one (max 9 accepted)
- Rewrite the title to strip emoji, symbols and Marketplace shorthand
- Navigate TikTok’s category tree and fill in every mandatory attribute for that category
- Set price in GBP, factoring in the 9% commission
- Set stock quantity and confirm a warehouse is assigned
- Publish and wait for TikTok’s review
- Track manually which items are listed on both platforms
- When an item sells anywhere: manually delist it on the other platform
Time per item: roughly 6–10 minutes, more if TikTok flags a category attribute you’re missing. For 100 items: 10–17 hours.
With FLUF Connect
- Select eligible (new-condition) Facebook Marketplace products in FLUF Connect
- Click “Crosslist to TikTok Shop”
- Review the category and attribute preview
- Confirm
- Done — TikTok Shop stock drops automatically if the item sells on Facebook Marketplace
Time per item: ~30–60 seconds, including the attribute review this pair needs. For 100 items: well under 2 hours.
Manual: 10–17 hours, largely spent fighting TikTok’s mandatory category attributes and formatting rules. With FLUF Connect: under 2 hours, most of it spent reviewing rather than re-keying data.
Stop rebuilding listings by hand for TikTok Shop.
Automation Features for Facebook Marketplace and TikTok Shop Sellers
Automation is included in every FLUF Connect plan — but for this specific pair, be aware that TikTok Shop’s feature set through FLUF is deliberately narrow today, and Facebook Marketplace’s automation was never broad to begin with.
| Feature | Facebook Marketplace | TikTok Shop (UK) |
|---|---|---|
| Crosslisting (create/edit/delist) | ✅ | ✅ |
| Mark as sold when it sells elsewhere | ✅ (outbound to other channels) | ✅ (inbound only — see “What Syncs”) |
| Order sync | ❌ (orders managed on Facebook) | ❌ (not built yet) |
| Auto-relisting | ❌ (Marketplace listings expire and are manually renewed) | ❌ |
| Offer management | ❌ (negotiation happens in Messenger) | ❌ |
| Auto-crosslisting rules | ✅ | ✅ |
| Bulk operations | ✅ | ✅ |
What that means in practice: this pair is genuinely useful for getting eligible new-condition inventory listed on both channels quickly and keeping TikTok Shop stock accurate as Facebook Marketplace sales happen — but it isn’t (yet) a hands-off, fully-synced pair the way Facebook Marketplace to Depop or Facebook Marketplace to Vinted are, where relisting and offer management run on both sides. FLUF’s TikTok Shop feature set expands as the integration matures — this page will be updated as order sync, relisting or offer support ship.
Worth noting for comparison shopping: most established crosslisting tools don’t cover TikTok Shop at all — Vendoo and List Perfectly both support Facebook Marketplace but not TikTok Shop as of this writing, so this pair is a genuinely thin part of the market, not just a FLUF-specific gap.

Frequently Asked Questions
Plans start at £9/month (Starter — 300 active products) after a 7-day trial for £1 that needs no card to start. Every plan includes crosslisting, stock sync and bulk operations for both channels — automation is not a paid add-on. There is no free plan after the trial ends.
Only in one direction today. When an item sells on Facebook Marketplace, FLUF marks the TikTok Shop listing sold automatically. When an item sells on TikTok Shop, FLUF does not yet detect that sale, so the Facebook Marketplace listing stays live until you delist it manually. Full two-way order sync for TikTok Shop is not built yet.
Yes. FLUF's browser extension periodically checks your Facebook Marketplace inventory in the background, and when it detects a sale, it marks the matching TikTok Shop listing as sold and drops the stock.
Not automatically. FLUF's TikTok Shop integration doesn't read TikTok Shop order data yet, so a TikTok Shop sale won't remove or delist the item on Facebook Marketplace. You'll need to delist it there yourself until this is built.
Generally, no. TikTok Shop UK's Prohibited Products Policy blocks second-hand, used and open-box products platform-wide, except a small invite-only set of pre-owned categories (luxury handbags, collectible trading cards, and bags & luggage). This is TikTok's own policy, not a FLUF restriction — new-condition, handmade or made-to-order Facebook Marketplace inventory is what crosslists cleanly to TikTok Shop today.
Not yet. FLUF's TikTok Shop integration currently supports creating, editing and delisting listings, plus marking stock sold when the item sells elsewhere. Auto-relisting and offer management aren't available on TikTok Shop through FLUF at this time.
No — FLUF's TikTok Shop connection is approved for Great Britain only. TikTok Shop itself operates in many more countries, but FLUF's Partner Center app currently holds approval for the UK market only, so sellers outside the UK can't connect it through FLUF.
Roughly 30–60 seconds per item once your accounts are connected, including reviewing TikTok's category and any mandatory attributes it requires. Bulk crosslisting hundreds of eligible items takes minutes rather than hours.
FLUF Mobile can create, edit and delist Facebook Marketplace listings from your phone. Ongoing inventory reads and sold-detection on Facebook Marketplace — the trigger for marking TikTok Shop stock sold — currently require the FLUF browser extension connected on a desktop browser.
Yes — yearly billing saves 40% versus paying monthly, on every plan, with the same full feature set either way.
