Grailed to TikTok Shop: Sell Your Grailed Pieces to UK Buyers

For UK Grailed sellers: TikTok Shop approval for second-hand fashion, the £500 cap and title rules, fees on each side, and how FLUF Connect lists your Grailed stock on TikTok Shop and keeps both in step.

70+ marketplaces, one dashboard Auto inventory sync WhatsApp, email & in-app support

This route is for UK sellers. If you sell vintage, designer or deadstock menswear on Grailed from Britain, TikTok Shop puts the same pieces in front of UK buyers who shop from their feeds and from live streams, in pounds and with domestic delivery. Two things decide whether it works for you: TikTok Shop’s approval for second-hand fashion, and its £500 cap per listing. FLUF Connect lists your Grailed stock on TikTok Shop, and a TikTok Shop sale takes the piece off Grailed.

In short

  • FLUF connects UK TikTok Shop accounts only, so this pair is for sellers based in the UK.
  • TikTok Shop UK sells second-hand fashion by invitation only. You apply, with documents, before you can list a single used piece.
  • Used fashion listings are capped at £500, need “second-hand”, “pre-owned” or “pre-loved” in the title, and need a photo of any flaws.
  • TikTok Shop’s commission on fashion is 9%. Grailed charges 9% from $120 and 6% below, plus processing.
  • A TikTok Shop sale is picked up by FLUF and the Grailed listing comes down. A Grailed sale is not seen: mark it sold and TikTok Shop stock drops.

Step one: approval for second-hand fashion

TikTok Shop UK’s restricted products policy lists second-hand fashion as an “invite-only” category. Sellers who have not been onboarded for it may not list, share or promote those products. The permitted types are unique pieces, vintage clothing and deadstock, which covers most of a Grailed closet.

The policy says what TikTok Shop asks for when you apply: your seller background, the brands and SKUs you carry, images of your warehouse, and links to the stores you already sell on with reviews and sales performance. Your Grailed shop, with its feedback and sold history, is evidence for that last part. Get the approval before you connect anything, because without it there is nowhere for a used piece to go.

The listing rules that change your Grailed copy

The product listing rules for second-hand fashion are stricter than Grailed’s:

TikTok Shop UK rule What it means for a Grailed listing
Second-hand fashion must not exceed £500 per listing Archive jackets, rare collaborations and anything priced above £500 stay on Grailed
Titles of used items must include “Second-hand”, “pre-owned” or “pre-loved” Grailed titles usually lead with designer and item. Add the wording before the listing goes live. Deadstock is exempt
At least two images: one of the garment and one showing scratches, stretch marks or imperfections A Grailed set of clean flat-lays needs a close-up of any wear, or the listing breaks the rule
Condition description must match the photos and what the buyer receives Carry your Grailed condition notes across accurately
Surprise-based products such as mystery bundles are not allowed Lots sold as a surprise stay off TikTok Shop

Unworn deadstock with tags is the easiest stock to start with: no flaw photo, no title wording, and a clean story for a short video.

What each side charges

TikTok Shop UK’s commission policy sets the fee at 9% of the order total, including shipping the customer pays. The policy gives electronics and beauty a reduced 5% rate; fashion stays at 9%.

Grailed’s fees page charges 9% on sales of $120 and above, and 6% (minimum $1.99) under $120, for domestic and international sales. Its processing fee for Stripe-onboarded sellers outside the US is 4.99% + $0.49 on international payments. For a UK seller whose Grailed buyers are often abroad, that makes the all-in Grailed cost on a mid-priced piece higher than TikTok Shop’s 9%, before you count international postage.

A £120 jacket sold on TikTok Shop with £4 customer-paid shipping costs £11.16 in commission. The question is less about the fee and more about whether a UK buyer on TikTok will pay what a Grailed collector abroad would.

How to list Grailed items on TikTok Shop

  1. Get second-hand fashion approval on your TikTok Shop UK account.
  2. Connect Grailed in FLUF Connect through the FLUF browser extension or the FLUF mobile app. Your Grailed listings appear in your FLUF inventory.
  3. Connect TikTok Shop from the Channels screen and follow TikTok’s authorisation steps.
  4. Filter your inventory to Grailed and select pieces under £500 that have a flaw photo where needed.
  5. Choose TikTok Shop as the destination and review pricing.
  6. Check each title carries the second-hand wording, then publish.

Grailed’s fees are set in dollars, while TikTok Shop UK sells in pounds. Set the TikTok price for a UK buyer rather than converting the Grailed figure, and remember that Grailed buyers expect to send offers while TikTok Shop buyers pay the price shown.

Keeping both listings in step

What happens Result
Item sells on TikTok Shop FLUF picks up the order and takes the Grailed listing down
Item sells on Grailed FLUF does not see the sale. Mark it sold in FLUF and the TikTok Shop stock drops
Relisting and offers Not available through FLUF on either marketplace

Grailed offers carry on working on Grailed itself. When you accept one, mark the item sold in FLUF straight away so the piece cannot also sell on TikTok Shop during a live stream.

Is this route worth it?

It suits a UK Grailed seller with steady stock of recognisable labels under £500, who is willing to film pieces and wants domestic buyers alongside international ones. It suits less well a seller of archive pieces above the cap, anyone outside the UK, or a shop that relies on negotiation to close sales. Depop and Vinted take the same UK stock with no category approval (see Grailed to Depop and Grailed to Vinted), and eBay reaches buyers abroad without the £500 cap.

What FLUF costs

Crosslisting, inventory sync and order sync are on every FLUF plan, from £9 a month for Starter. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with Pro and above, but FLUF offers none of them on Grailed or TikTok Shop. You can start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
