Leboncoin to Stripe: A Card Option for Collection and Market Stalls
How French sellers add a Stripe Payment Link to Leboncoin stock for collection and brocantes, what each option costs, and how to clear an item once it has sold.
On Leboncoin, the sofa that sells is usually the one someone can come and collect, and that buyer usually brings cash. Not everyone does. Stripe gives you a second way to get paid at the door or at a brocante stall: a QR code on the item, which the buyer scans and pays by card. FLUF Connect creates that Stripe product and Payment Link from your Leboncoin ad.
In short
- This suits sellers in France who hand items over in person or sell at markets as well as on Leboncoin.
- Cash on collection costs you nothing. Stripe in France charges 1.5% + €0.25 on a standard European card.
- A sale made through Leboncoin’s own checkout comes into FLUF and switches off the Stripe link.
- Delete the Leboncoin ad yourself after a Stripe or cash sale, because FLUF cannot end it.
Three ways to be paid for the same item
A Leboncoin seller already has two: cash on collection (remise en main propre) and Leboncoin’s checkout with a carrier such as Mondial Relay or Colissimo, listed in its shipping criteria. Stripe adds a third for buyers in front of you.
| €300 sideboard | Cash on collection | Stripe Payment Link |
|---|---|---|
| Cost to you | €0 | €4.75 on a standard European card |
| What the buyer needs | €300 in notes | A phone and a card |
| What you see | The notes | The payment in your Stripe Dashboard |
Stripe’s pricing page for France lists 1.5% + €0.25 for a standard European card and 2.8% + €0.25 for a premium one, so the same sideboard costs €8.65 on a premium card. There are no monthly or setup fees, and Payment Links cost nothing extra. Each dispute costs €20.
Keep Leboncoin’s checkout for anything small enough to post. A Payment Link books no carrier and creates no label.
Where the QR code earns its fee
- Bulky items. Furniture and appliances are too large for the listed carriers, and the amounts are often more than a buyer wants to carry in cash.
- Brocantes and vide-greniers. Print a code for your better pieces and attach it to the item. A buyer can pay while you serve someone else, and you can check the payment before the piece leaves.
- Repeat buyers. A dealer who buys from you regularly can pay from a link you send, wherever they are.
For a €10 item, the card fee takes 40 cents. Keep the codes for pieces above a price you choose and take cash for the rest.
How to send Leboncoin items to Stripe
- Connect Leboncoin in FLUF Connect so your ads appear in your FLUF inventory.
- Connect your French Stripe account from its card on the Channels screen and approve the FLUF Connect app.
- Filter the inventory to Leboncoin and select the items you will hand over in person.
- Choose Stripe as the destination, check the price and publish.

Stripe’s sharing guide explains how to download a link’s QR code from your Dashboard. If you lower a price in FLUF, the item gets a new link, so reprint any code you have already attached.
Clearing an item once it has sold
| What happens | In FLUF | On Leboncoin |
|---|---|---|
| Sold through Leboncoin’s checkout | The sale comes in and the Stripe link switches off | Check the ad has closed, and delete it if it has not |
| Paid by Stripe link or QR code | Mark the item sold | Delete the ad |
| Paid in cash | Mark the item sold, which switches off the link | Delete the ad |
FLUF does not relist or manage offers on Leboncoin or Stripe. After a market, clear what sold before you unpack the van, so nobody messages you about a piece that has gone.
What FLUF costs
Crosslisting and inventory sync are on every FLUF plan, from £9 a month for Starter. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with Pro and above, but FLUF offers none of them on Leboncoin or Stripe. You can start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
