Where this route works
Start here, because the answer rules some sellers out entirely. Vinted has no Turkish site. If your Trendyol business runs out of Turkey and sells domestically, Vinted is not open to you.
Trendyol’s European arm is the part that overlaps. It sells into Germany, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and asks sellers for a valid European VAT number to join. Vinted is live in all six of those countries. A seller registered in one of them can run both.
Romania is the clearest example of why anyone would bother. Trendyol launched there in January 2024 and reported 2.7 million active shoppers and more than 10,000 merchants by April 2026. Vinted reaches the same country with a completely different shopping habit. The two audiences barely overlap.
Who pays, and how much
Trendyol charges you a commission that depends on the category, and the published ranges put most physical goods somewhere between 6% and 23%. There is no monthly subscription and no listing fee.
Vinted works the other way. It takes no commission, no listing fee and no payout fee from the seller. The Buyer Protection charge of €0.70 plus 5% of the item price is added at the buyer’s checkout, and your listed price is what reaches you.

The returns line is the one that changes your pricing. Trendyol’s customer return policy gives buyers 30 days, makes returns free to them, and puts both the outbound and the return carriage on you. Sellers there price that risk in. Once the same garment is on Vinted, that particular cost is gone, so a price copied straight across is usually higher than it needs to be.
What to send
- Send: clothing, footwear, bags and accessories. This is Vinted’s core and it needs no explaining to its buyers.
- Also allowed: books, vinyl and CDs, home textiles, toys, and hobby and collectable items. Vinted’s catalogue rules stretch further than most sellers expect.
- Do not send: cosmetics that are not sealed, real fur, food and drink, vapes, most kitchen appliances or bladed tools. Vinted’s prohibited list catches several categories that are ordinary on Trendyol.
Photography is the other adjustment. Trendyol runs on catalogue-style product shots. Vinted buyers expect the actual garment on a hanger or a person, with the label visible and any flaw photographed. Reusing a studio image on Vinted reads as a shop rather than a person, which is fine if you sell as a business but will not save you the photographs.
Delivery changes hands
On Trendyol you are the one arranging and paying for carriage, and the buyer sees free delivery above the €30 threshold in the return policy. Your margin absorbs it.
Vinted moves that decision to the buyer. They pick a carrier and a drop-off or locker option at checkout and pay for it, and you print the label Vinted generates. In practice this means your Vinted listing price is closer to what you actually keep, and it also means slower dispatch is more visible: the buyer chose the service, so they know what it should have cost and how long it should take.
One piece of context for the Trendyol side. Alibaba acquired Trendyol in August 2025, and the company has been pushing hard into Central and Eastern Europe since, targeting 20,000 merchants across the region by the end of 2026. Competition on your Trendyol categories is going up, which is the usual reason a seller starts looking at a second channel in the first place.
Selling as a business on Vinted
If your Trendyol account is a registered business, and it has to be, then Vinted Pro is the matching setup on the other side. It costs nothing, still charges no seller commission, issues VAT invoices automatically and raises the listing limit. It is available in Germany and Austria among the countries that overlap with Trendyol’s European markets, and in several others outside them. Elsewhere you sell through a standard account.
