Crosslist from Vinted to Tilt: Turn a Slow Vinted Wardrobe into a Live Show
Why UK Vinted sellers add Tilt, what Tilt takes from a sale, how shows and Clips work, and what FLUF does when something sells on either side.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
- This route suits UK Vinted sellers with a backlog: items that have sat for weeks, bundles, and stock bought to resell.
- Tilt takes 2% plus 50p a sale. Vinted takes nothing from the seller, so Tilt costs more and sells faster.
- On Tilt you sell live, about ten seconds of bidding per item, or through Clips, short videos the app makes from your listing.
- FLUF sees sales on both sides and ends the other listing, so a jacket cannot sell on Vinted and then go under the hammer on Tilt.

Who should add Tilt
Vinted works by waiting. You upload, the item sits in search, and the right buyer finds it in a day or in three months. That is fine for a wardrobe clear-out and slow for anyone who buys stock to sell on. Tilt replaces the waiting with an evening: you go live, hold each item up, and bidding runs for about ten seconds per item with a chat of regulars trying to get there first. Tilt’s seller page pitches a pace of 30 to 40 items an hour.
The Vinted sellers who fit are the ones with volume: a bin of forty items that have not moved, a vintage reseller with weekly sourcing trips, a trading-card seller who already does bundles. Tilt’s own list of who it wants is fashion, vintage and streetwear, toys and collectibles, trading cards and pack breaks, and high-volume resellers. If you sell ten items a year from your own cupboard, stay on Vinted.
What changes in the fees
Vinted’s UK help centre says there are no fees for uploading your items or selling them. Once the sale completes, the full price lands in your Vinted balance. The buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee of 5% of the item price plus 70p on top.
Tilt charges the seller. Its seller page advertises fees from 2% plus 50p, with no monthly charge and nothing to pay up front. A £25 item that sells on Tilt costs you £1.00 in fees; on Vinted it costs you nothing. What you buy with that pound is speed and, on wanted items, a higher price than the one you set. Tilt auctions can start from £1, so you also risk a cheap item going for less than it would fetch on Vinted. Put the items you must clear in the show, and keep the ones you are happy to wait for on Vinted.
Vinted habits to change on Tilt
- Talk instead of type. Vinted sells on the photos and the description. Tilt sells on you: the measurements you read out, the flaw you point at, the pace you keep.
- Shipping is picked for you. On Vinted the buyer chooses from Evri, InPost, DPD, Royal Mail, Relay, AnyVan or DHL Express and you print their label. On Tilt, labels come from Tilt’s integrated Royal Mail and Evri shipping.
- Payout timing differs. Vinted pays into your Vinted balance once the buyer confirms everything is fine. Tilt says sellers are paid within seven days, with faster payouts as your trading history builds.
- Business sellers have a different route. On Vinted, a business needs a Vinted Pro account, which shows your company details on your profile and requires 14-day returns. Tilt’s seller page makes no such split: it addresses individual resellers directly.
What FLUF does on each side
| Vinted | Tilt | |
|---|---|---|
| How you connect | FLUF browser extension or mobile app | FLUF browser extension |
| Bring existing listings into FLUF | Yes | Yes |
| FLUF sees a sale here | Yes | Yes |
| FLUF ends the listing here when it sells elsewhere | Yes | Yes |
| Relisting and offer management | Included from the Seller plan upwards | No |
Both sides sync on their own. Sell a coat on Vinted on Tuesday and FLUF removes it from Tilt before Wednesday’s show. Sell it live on Tilt and the Vinted listing ends. On Vinted, FLUF can also relist older items and handle offers from the Seller plan upwards. Tilt has no relisting because an auction lot is not a listing that goes stale.
