Crosslist from WooCommerce to TikTok Shop — The WordPress Route After the Official Plugin Closed
TikTok's own WooCommerce plugin dropped Shop support in June 2026. Here is how a WordPress store still gets its catalogue onto TikTok Shop in the UK, automatically.
- The official route closed. The TikTok for Business plugin for WooCommerce stopped accepting new TikTok Shop connections on 2 March 2026 and discontinued the Shop features entirely on 1 June 2026. What survives in that plugin is the pixel and an ads catalogue — not Shop listings.
- TikTok Shop is live across Europe and the UK, with over 100,000 European businesses joined and triple-digit daily GMV growth between August 2025 and February 2026 on TikTok’s own numbers.
- FLUF Connect supports TikTok Shop in the United Kingdom only — that is what our app is approved for, and we would rather say so than imply coverage we do not have.
- Fields that transfer: title, HTML description, up to 9 images, price, stock, SKU, brand and category — with TikTok’s per-category required attributes filled from your WordPress product data.
- Commission: 9% of GMV inclusive of VAT, charged on product plus customer-paid shipping; 5% in Electronics and Beauty & Personal Care.
- Cost: start with a 7-day trial for £1, then plans from £9/month (Starter — 300 products). There is no free plan; automation is included in every plan.

The Gap This Page Exists to Fill
Until recently, the answer to “how do I get my WooCommerce products onto TikTok Shop?” was: install TikTok’s own plugin. That answer stopped being true this year, and a lot of published advice has not caught up.
The TikTok for Business plugin — around 200,000 active installations — carries this in its own readme: “We will be discontinuing the Tiktok shop features from June 1, 2026 on this plugin. All Ads features will be continued… New Sign-ups: Starting 2nd March, the official TikTok WooCommerce plugin will no longer accept new TikTok Shop connections.” Its changelog confirms the deprecation notice shipped in version 1.3.8 on 27 February 2026.
What remains in that plugin is the TikTok pixel, the Events API, Lead Gen ads, and a product catalogue synced to TikTok that feeds video shopping ads — advertising, not Shop listings. TikTok’s own recommendation to affected merchants is to use a third-party app or to list manually in Seller Center.
Worth knowing too: even before the deprecation, the integration was never a full two-way sync. Per WooCommerce’s own documentation, TikTok Shop orders were read-only inside WooCommerce — fulfilment, cancellations, returns and refunds all had to be handled in Seller Center regardless.
One practical warning while you evaluate options: woocommerce.com’s own product and documentation pages for that plugin still advertise the removed capability, describing syncing your store catalogue to TikTok Shop and selling there in minutes. As of 20 August 2026 those pages had not been updated. Do not take them as current.
Why Put a WooCommerce Catalogue on TikTok Shop?
WooCommerce is the WordPress e-commerce plugin, and between them the two account for a large share of the independent web: WordPress runs 40.7% of all websites and 59.0% of those using a known content management system, while WooCommerce accounts for 48.2% of all e-commerce systems — 8.1% of the web outright. BuiltWith counts around 3.4 million live WooCommerce checkouts, 173,636 of them in the UK.
What all of those WordPress stores have in common is the same problem: the catalogue is yours, and so is the entire job of finding buyers for it. TikTok Shop inverts that. Discovery happens inside a feed people already scroll, the product sits underneath the video, and the purchase completes without leaving the app.
TikTok reports more than 100,000 European businesses on TikTok Shop as of May 2026, with triple-digit growth in daily GMV between August 2025 and February 2026, and the marketplace live in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK, adding Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland from 15 June 2026. In the UK specifically, TikTok reports roughly 30 million monthly active users and commissioned research putting its contribution to UK GDP at £10 billion of gross value added in 2025 — a figure worth reading as TikTok’s own, because TikTok paid for the study.
FLUF Connect’s TikTok Shop integration is approved for the UK. TikTok Shop itself runs in many more markets, and we would rather be explicit than let a seller in Germany or Spain spend an afternoon on a connection that will not complete. If your WooCommerce store is UK-based and your TikTok Shop seller account is a UK one, this works today.
What TikTok Shop Requires Before You Start
TikTok Shop’s UK onboarding is more demanding than most marketplaces and less demanding than people expect in one important respect: you do not need a limited company. Sole traders are eligible.
For a sole trader, TikTok’s UK seller registration policy asks for UK-issued photo identification such as a passport or driving licence, a selfie holding it, proof of residential address no more than three months old, and the unredacted first page of a bank statement. A corporate seller additionally supplies a company name and registration number, business address proof, a business bank statement, a VAT number and beneficial-ownership details for directors and anyone holding 25% or more.
Two conditions apply to everyone and are worth reading before you commit: you must be 18 or over, and TikTok requires sellers to store inventory in the country of registration and ship all items domestically. A dropshipped catalogue fulfilled from overseas does not fit that requirement.
How to Connect from Your WordPress Admin
- Install the FLUF Connect plugin from your WordPress admin. Plugins → Add New, search for FLUF Connect, install, activate — the ordinary WordPress plugin path.
- Complete the handshake. The plugin issues FLUF a WooCommerce REST API consumer key and secret scoped to your store. You can revoke them at any time from WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API.
- Authorise TikTok Shop. You approve FLUF Connect from your TikTok Seller Center account. A brand-new shop can take a minute or two before TikTok finishes provisioning it — that is normal and transient.
- Import your catalogue. FLUF reads products through the WooCommerce REST API, expanding variable products so each variation is its own sellable row.
- Review the mapping. TikTok requires a leaf category and enforces per-category required attributes; FLUF fills them from your product attributes and reports anything it cannot supply.
- Crosslist. Images are uploaded to TikTok’s own image host and the product is created referencing them. You get back a TikTok product ID and its shop page URL.
A note on why the images have to go through TikTok: its Create Product API states plainly that “You will not be able to use any image URLs that are not hosted by TikTok Shop”. Your WordPress media library URLs cannot be handed to TikTok directly, which is one of the reasons a spreadsheet or a naive feed does not work here.
What Transfers When You Crosslist from WooCommerce to TikTok Shop?
Field mapping — WooCommerce to TikTok Shop
| WooCommerce field | TikTok Shop field | Transfer status | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Product name | Product title | ✅ Automatic | 1–255 characters in the UK — generous next to most marketplaces. |
| Description | Description | ✅ Automatic | Required, and must be HTML — TikTok accepts all HTML tags, up to 10,000 characters. Plain text is wrapped in a paragraph tag on the way through. |
| Product gallery | Main images | ⚡ First 9 | TikTok caps at 9 and recommends at least 5, sized between 300×300 and 4000×4000. Its guidance is that the first image should have a white background. |
| Price (sale, else regular) | SKU price | ✅ Automatic | Converted into the shop’s currency; a higher regular price is sent as the list price. |
| Stock quantity | SKU inventory | ✅ Automatic | Attached to a warehouse — TikTok has no shop-level default, so a warehouse must exist. |
| SKU | Seller SKU | ✅ Automatic | Falls back to a FLUF-generated reference if the product has none. |
| Product categories | TikTok leaf category | ⚡ Smart mapped | Products can only be created in a leaf category. Resolved via TikTok’s own recommender, then FLUF’s mapping pipeline. |
| Attributes | Category attributes | ⚡ Mapped | Attributes flagged as required by the category are a hard failure if missing — FLUF reports them rather than guessing. |
| Brand attribute | Brand ID | ⚡ Resolved | Optional. TikTok resolves brands to its own IDs and will not display an unauthorised one, so it is omitted rather than forced when unresolvable. |
global_unique_id (GTIN/EAN/UPC/ISBN) |
Product identifier | ⚠️ Set it before you publish | Optional on TikTok, but only editable while the product is in draft. Get it wrong on submission and it is stuck. |
| Weight | Package weight | ⚡ Converted | TikTok rejects a zero weight. FLUF converts from your store’s own weight unit — a store configured in grams sending an unconverted number is exactly how a 1 kg item gets refused as a tonne. |
| Variations | SKUs | ⚡ Expanded | Up to 300 SKUs per product in the UK, with at most three sales-attribute types. |
| — | Size chart | ⚠️ Required in some categories | Mandatory for UK local sellers in the relevant categories since April 2024. |
| — | Compliance certificates | ⚠️ Upload on TikTok | Toys, Beauty, Electronics, Food & Beverage and Pet Food require safety attributes and certification images. FLUF refuses the push up front where a certificate is required, because retrying cannot change the answer. |
Where the two data models genuinely disagree
Units. WooCommerce stores weight and dimensions as plain numbers and keeps the unit as a store-level setting, not on the product. TikTok demands an explicit unit. Any integration that reads the number without reading the store’s setting will send a wrong figure with total confidence.
Attributes versus meta. WooCommerce has two ways to carry product data: global attributes on a proper taxonomy, and untyped custom fields. Only the first can be mapped reliably onto TikTok’s typed category attributes. If your size and colour data lives in custom fields rather than as WooCommerce attributes, moving it is the single highest-value preparation you can do before a bulk push.
Category caching. TikTok warns against caching its category data locally, because a stale tree produces creation errors. Categories are resolved live rather than from a snapshot.
Second-Hand Goods: Invite-Only, Not Banned
If your WordPress store sells pre-owned stock, this section matters more than the rest of the page — and the answer is different from the one you will find in most write-ups, which describe the American rules.
In the UK, second-hand goods are not on TikTok’s prohibited list. They sit under its restricted products policy, which states that all second-hand products can only be sold if a seller has been onboarded through a limited, invite-only process. Applying means supplying business background, the categories you intend to sell, warehouse and stock images, links to your other e-commerce stores with performance data, and relevant certifications.
The precedent is public: TikTok launched a Preowned Luxury category in the UK in April 2024 with five invited partners. It is a gated route, not a closed door.
Where you are onboarded, the per-category rules are specific. For second-hand fashion, the title must include “Second-hand”, “pre-owned” or “pre-loved”; you need at least two images, at least one of which shows scratches, stretch marks or other imperfections; underwear, socks and swimwear may only be sold new or new with tags; and there is a £500 value cap per listing. Books, graded trading cards, graded comics, luxury watches and refurbished electricals each have their own conditions.
The practical consequence for crosslisting is that a used-goods catalogue needs its titles and photo sets prepared to those rules before it goes anywhere near TikTok. Bulk find-and-replace across your WordPress catalogue handles the title prefix in one pass.
What Syncs Between WooCommerce and TikTok Shop
This pair has real asymmetries and it is better to plan around them than to discover them.
| Event | What happens | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Item sells on another connected channel | The TikTok Shop listing is taken down automatically | Within minutes |
| Item sells in your WooCommerce store | FLUF reads the WooCommerce order and clears the item from TikTok Shop | Per order-ingestion cycle |
| Item sells on TikTok Shop | Not imported. TikTok Shop orders are not pulled into FLUF — manage them in Seller Center | N/A |
| Price changed in FLUF | Pushed to TikTok via its price endpoint | Within minutes |
| Stock changed in FLUF | Pushed to TikTok via its separate inventory endpoint | Within minutes |
| Any change made in WooCommerce | Read on the next cycle; not written back into WooCommerce by FLUF | Per sync cycle |
| Relisting or offers on TikTok Shop | Not supported by TikTok Shop through FLUF | N/A |
TikTok Shop orders are not imported. FLUF can create, update and take down TikTok Shop listings, and a sale elsewhere clears the TikTok listing — but a sale that originates on TikTok Shop is not pulled back into FLUF and will not automatically clear the item from your other channels. Seller Center remains where you manage TikTok orders.
WooCommerce stock is not written back. FLUF’s WooCommerce integration reads your WordPress store and treats it as the source of truth; it does not push stock into it. For most stores that is exactly right. For single-copy inventory it means one habit you still keep.
What TikTok Shop Charges
TikTok Shop UK documents a single platform commission: 9% of GMV, stated as inclusive of applicable taxes including VAT. Electronics and Beauty & Personal Care are reduced to 5%, and reductions do not stack. The commission is charged on net sales plus customer-paid shipping plus platform discount, less refunds.
You will find UK agency blogs quoting an additional “1.4% + £0.20” transaction fee. That figure does not appear in TikTok’s own UK fee policies, so we do not repeat it. The defensible statement is the one above: TikTok Shop UK documents a single 9% VAT-inclusive commission, reduced to 5% in two categories.
Fulfilled by TikTok is available in the UK if you want TikTok to hold and ship your stock, priced separately by storage volume, operation and per-parcel shipping. TikTok’s affiliate programme is a separate, opt-in cost: you set a commission rate per product and creators promote it.
Automation Features for WooCommerce and TikTok Shop Sellers
Auto-Crosslisting Rules
Rules by category, price band or brand push new WordPress products to TikTok Shop as you add them. Given TikTok’s category-attribute strictness, the useful pattern is a rule scoped to the categories you have already mapped successfully rather than the whole catalogue.
Bulk Operations
Bulk crosslisting with filters, bulk price changes, and find-and-replace across your listings. For this pair, find-and-replace is the tool that gets a pre-owned catalogue compliant with TikTok’s title requirements in one operation instead of item by item.
What TikTok Shop Does Not Support
No automated relisting, no offer management and no order import. All three exist for other channels you may connect — see auto-relisting and offer management — and run independently of your TikTok Shop listings.
One Catalogue, Many Marketplaces
The same WooCommerce import feeds every channel you connect, so adding eBay, Etsy or a marketplace later costs a connection rather than a second catalogue. That matters more than usual here, given how recently the official WordPress route to TikTok Shop disappeared.
How Much Does It Cost to Crosslist from WooCommerce to TikTok Shop?
Every FLUF Connect plan includes crosslisting, inventory sync, auto-crosslisting rules and bulk operations across all supported channels — not just WooCommerce and TikTok Shop.

|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | £9/month | 300 | All automation features |
| Growth | £19/month | 1,000 | All automation features |

Not for TikTok Shop. The TikTok for Business plugin stopped accepting new TikTok Shop connections on 2 March 2026 and discontinued the Shop features entirely on 1 June 2026, per its own readme on WordPress.org. What remains is the pixel, the Events API, Lead Gen ads and a catalogue that feeds video shopping ads — advertising, not Shop listings. Note that woocommerce.com's own pages for that plugin still advertised the removed capability as at 20 August 2026, so do not take them as current.
Every new seller gets a 7-day trial for £1 with full access. After that, plans start at £9/month (Starter — 300 products). There is no free plan. Every plan includes crosslisting, inventory sync, auto-crosslisting rules and bulk operations across all supported channels, not just these two — automation is built into every plan rather than sold as a paid add-on. TikTok Shop's own commission is separate and is paid to TikTok.
The United Kingdom. FLUF Connect's TikTok Shop integration is approved for the UK, and we would rather say so than let a seller elsewhere spend an afternoon on a connection that will not complete. TikTok Shop itself runs in many more markets.
It works on any WordPress site running WooCommerce. You install the FLUF Connect plugin from your WordPress admin under Plugins → Add New, and the handshake issues FLUF a WooCommerce REST API key and secret scoped to your store, revocable at any time from WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API.
Yes. Variations are expanded into TikTok SKUs, up to TikTok's UK limit of 300 SKUs per product with at most three sales-attribute types. One preparation is worth doing first: if your size and colour data lives in untyped custom fields rather than proper WooCommerce attributes, move it, because only global attributes map reliably onto TikTok's typed category attributes.
Yes, but only if you have been onboarded through TikTok's invite-only process. Second-hand goods are not prohibited in the UK — they sit under the restricted products policy, which requires an application covering business background, categories, warehouse and stock images, links to your other stores with performance data, and certifications. Second-hand fashion then has its own rules: the title must include “Second-hand”, “pre-owned” or “pre-loved”, at least two images with one showing imperfections, and a £500 cap per listing.
TikTok Shop UK documents a single platform commission of 9% of GMV, stated as inclusive of applicable taxes including VAT, charged on net sales plus customer-paid shipping plus platform discount, less refunds. Electronics and Beauty & Personal Care are reduced to 5%. You will find UK agency blogs quoting an extra 1.4% plus 20p transaction fee; that figure does not appear in TikTok's own UK fee policies, so we do not repeat it.
No, and it is better to know that up front. FLUF can create, update and take down TikTok Shop listings, and a sale on another connected channel clears the TikTok listing — but a sale originating on TikTok Shop is not imported and will not automatically clear the item elsewhere. Seller Center remains where you manage TikTok orders. Relisting and offer management are not supported for TikTok Shop either.
The three usual causes are a required category attribute with no value, a missing compliance certificate, or a zero package weight. TikTok treats required attributes as a hard failure, refuses categories such as Toys, Beauty and Electronics without their certification documents, and rejects a weight of zero. FLUF checks all three before sending and reports what is missing rather than retrying something that cannot succeed.
No. Sole traders are eligible. TikTok asks a sole trader for UK photo identification, a selfie holding it, proof of residential address no more than three months old, and the unredacted first page of a bank statement. Everyone must be 18 or over and must store inventory in the country of registration and ship domestically.
