Crosslist from StockX to Mercari with FLUF Connect
For US sneaker and streetwear sellers: list StockX stock on Mercari with your own photos, and keep both in sync.
- This route is for US sellers. Mercari in the US only takes US sellers and buyers.
- StockX sells your pair against a catalogue page. Mercari sells the pair in your photos, so you shoot and describe every item yourself.
- Mercari takes a flat 10% of the item price plus the shipping the buyer paid, with no separate payment fee for sellers.
- Mercari buyers send offers. Price with room to move, and set your floor before you list.
- When a pair sells on Mercari, FLUF ends your StockX ask. When it sells on StockX, you mark it sold in FLUF and FLUF ends the Mercari listing.
- Try it with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.

Who this route suits
You sell sneakers, streetwear or collectibles on StockX from a US address, and some of your stock sits at your ask for weeks. You have a phone, decent light and the patience to answer buyer questions. That seller gets a second US buyer pool from Mercari without opening a shop.
It suits less well if your whole operation is shipping deadstock to StockX in bulk and never photographing anything. Every Mercari listing needs your own pictures and a condition note, so the work per pair goes up. It also does not suit sellers outside the US. Mercari’s US marketplace is closed to them.
Worn pairs are where Mercari earns its place. StockX’s catalogue is built for new, unworn stock, so a pair you wore twice, or a pair with a damaged box, has nowhere to go there. Mercari lists used items as normal, and you describe the wear.
How Mercari differs from StockX
| StockX | Mercari (US) | |
|---|---|---|
| How a sale happens | A buyer’s bid meets your ask | A buyer buys at your price or sends an offer |
| Photos | Catalogue images | Your own |
| Condition | New, unworn stock | New and used |
| Seller fee | Transaction fee from 9% down to 7% by seller level, plus 3% processing | 10% of item price and buyer-paid shipping |
| Contact with the buyer | None | Messages and offers |
| Where the item ships | To StockX first | Straight to the buyer |
The fee gap is small at the top StockX levels and wider at the bottom. The bigger difference is who does the selling. On StockX the catalogue page, the verification and the buyer’s trust belong to the platform. On Mercari they belong to your listing.
What a Mercari sneaker listing needs
Photograph both sides, the toe box, the heel, the sole, the insole, the size tag and the box label. Add close-ups of any crease, scuff or yellowing. Buyers compare your photos with retail images, and anything you hide comes back as a return request.
Write the condition in plain words: “worn twice, light creasing on the left toe box, original box with a torn lid”. Give the style code and size in the title so searches find it. Say what is included, such as extra laces or the receipt.
Price from Mercari’s own sold listings, not from your StockX ask. Search the model and size, filter to sold items and look at the last few weeks. That is the market you are selling into.
Offers on Mercari
Mercari buyers can send an offer below your price, and you can accept, decline or counter. Decide your lowest acceptable price before the first offer arrives, and list a little above it. A quick reply matters more than a perfect counter, because a buyer who waits often buys someone else’s pair.
Handle offers in the Mercari app. FLUF does not manage Mercari offers.

What FLUF Connect does on this route
| StockX | Mercari | |

In practice: a Mercari sale ends your StockX ask with no action from you. A StockX sale needs one step. Mark the pair sold in FLUF, and FLUF ends the Mercari listing. Do it as soon as the StockX sale confirms, so nobody buys the same pair on Mercari in the meantime.
