Who this page is for

You are based in Slovakia and sell used clothing, vintage finds or new goods. You want to reach more buyers across multiple marketplaces but do not want to juggle listings, prices and stock counts separately on each one. FLUF Connect keeps everything in sync: list once and your inventory automatically updates across every marketplace you connect. Whether you’re clearing a wardrobe, running a small shop, or managing inventory for a business, syncing stock prevents double sales and saves hours of manual work.

The Slovak marketplace picture

Slovakia’s online selling scene differs from its neighbours. Allegro reached Czech shoppers in 2023 and has long led in Poland. Slovakia only got Allegro.sk in 2024. This means the platform is still gaining momentum with both sellers and buyers. At the same time, Vinted has built a strong user base since 2022 and is the clear leader for second-hand goods. Classifieds sites like Bazoš.sk remain popular for one-off items, but they lack the cross-border reach of platforms like Allegro or Vinted. For many sellers, the strategy is to list new items on Allegro.sk and second-hand pieces on Vinted, using FLUF to automate both at once. This dual-channel approach captures different buyer behaviour: Allegro attracts people searching for specific products, while Vinted finds people browsing for deals and treasures.

Allegro.sk and the Slovak marketplace

Allegro.sk launched at the end of February 2024, making the Polish marketplace accessible to Slovak sellers and buyers. The platform came with full Slovak localization: listings in Slovak, prices in euros, and delivery options familiar to Slovak customers. Slovak sellers can reach Polish buyers without leaving the platform, while Polish merchants compete for Slovak shoppers on the same marketplace. This cross-border reach means your audience is larger than just Slovakia.

Allegro works best for sellers with new, boxed goods, electronics and branded items that people search for by name. Category-based commission fees apply, so a winter coat costs differently than a vintage handbag to list. If you sell one-off pieces or worn clothing, Vinted typically attracts a more active audience. Before your first listing, check the seller terms and the commission for your category on allegro.sk so you price correctly and understand the fee impact on your margins.

Vinted.sk

Vinted has become the primary marketplace for second-hand clothing and accessories. Buyers add a Buyer Protection fee to your asking price, but you receive the exact amount you set. There are no selling fees. For second-hand sellers, Vinted is typically the first marketplace to list because its algorithm connects items to active buyers searching right now, not browsing casually.

Vinted is where FLUF does the most. It sees a Vinted sale and ends your other listings, and on plans above Starter it can also relist items and handle buyer offers for you. Bazoš is a different story. FLUF does not connect to it, so if you post the same coat there too, you have to take the Bazoš ad down yourself when it sells.

Trendyol, Temu and La Redoute

These three require business seller accounts. Trendyol and Temu accept new goods from registered businesses in Slovakia; La Redoute focuses on fashion and home brands for a more curated audience. FLUF connects all three but with different automation levels.

On Temu, FLUF sees sales automatically and removes items from your other channels. On Trendyol, you must mark items sold in FLUF—Trendyol sales are not visible to FLUF yet. La Redoute is listing-only: FLUF submits your products but cannot see sales or manage inventory, so you handle updates manually. Each marketplace requires a seller account application and charges category-based fees. Before applying, read the terms on each to understand the fee structure, product restrictions and shipping requirements for your goods.

Parcels and pickup points in Slovakia

Pickup points and lockers are a normal way to send and collect parcels in Slovakia. Packeta (Zásielkovňa) runs a wide network of pickup points and lockers. Slovenská Pošta (Slovak Post) operates the national postal network. Slovak Parcel Service (SPS) provides both parcel delivery and pickup-point options.

When you list on Vinted or Allegro.sk, your buyers see all available options at checkout and choose their preferred method. Offering these familiar options is essential because buyers trust carriers they know and pickup points reduce contact friction. On Vinted, the buyer pays shipping, so you set your price and let them choose delivery. On Allegro, you can offer multiple shipping methods and let the marketplace handle it. Using couriers and pickup points that Slovak buyers already use keeps your delivery ratings strong and repeat purchases higher.

VAT and business registration

Under Slovak rules you become a VAT payer from 1 January of the next year once your turnover passes €50,000 in a calendar year. Pass €62,500 during the year and registration applies straight away. The figure covers all your sales together: Vinted, Allegro, eBay and classifieds count towards one total, not one each. A proposal to raise the threshold to €85,000 from July 2026 was rejected by parliament in May 2026, so €50,000 still applies.

Many sellers list on multiple marketplaces without tracking the total. Each marketplace only reports its own sales to you, so adding up the combined revenue falls to you. If you’re a growing seller, monitor this figure closely as it creeps toward €50,000. At that point, consult an accountant about registration timing and the paperwork you’ll need to file.

What FLUF does not reach

FLUF does not connect Bazoš.sk or Modrý koník. These are the classifieds sites where many Slovak sellers start because they are free and require no approval process. Bazoš in particular handles a huge volume of one-off items: clothes someone no longer wears, furniture from a relocation, electronics they’ve upgraded. If these sites are core to your business, you’ll need to list and manage them separately while FLUF automates the marketplaces above.

The challenge with running both classifieds and marketplaces is coordination. When an item sells on Vinted or Allegro, you must remember to remove it from Bazoš to prevent double-selling it. This is where FLUF’s cross-marketplace sync becomes valuable: at minimum it prevents the marketplaces from overselling each other. For classifieds, you remain responsible for manual cleanup. If you sell high-volume or need complete automation, focus on the marketplaces FLUF connects and use classifieds only as a secondary channel.

Getting started as a Slovak seller

Starting on multiple marketplaces at once can feel overwhelming, but FLUF removes most of the complexity. Here’s the typical path: first, list a few test items on Vinted because it’s free, has no approval process and reaches an active audience. Once you feel confident with photos, descriptions and pricing, add Allegro.sk for new and branded goods. By using FLUF, these two channels work together: a single listing reaches both audiences automatically.

If you have new goods or run a business, connect Temu or Trendyol. If you have branded fashion for wholesale or B2B, add La Redoute. The key is starting small and expanding as you learn what sells on which marketplace. Vinted and Allegro alone cover most second-hand and general marketplace needs in Slovakia. FLUF’s inventory sync ensures that when you scale, you don’t accidentally sell the same item twice.

Set aside time for photography and descriptions. Marketplaces show listings differently: Vinted emphasizes the photos and the story, while Allegro needs precise sizing and technical details. Buyers on each platform have different expectations. Taking good photos once and using FLUF to distribute them saves time and ensures consistency. FLUF’s tools help you manage bulk pricing changes, relisting and offers, freeing you to focus on sourcing and customer service.
