Selling Online from Hungary: Vinted.hu, Allegro.hu and What FLUF Connects
Which marketplaces a Hungarian seller can reach, what they charge in forints, and what FLUF Connect does after each sale.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
- From Hungary, FLUF Connect lists to four marketplaces with a Hungarian site or seller programme: Vinted, Allegro, Temu and La Redoute. Worldwide marketplaces such as eBay and Etsy sit alongside them.
- Hungary prices in forints. Vinted.hu adds a buyer fee of usually 5% + 280 Ft, and Allegro settles allegro.hu sales in HUF.
- Vinted is the only one of the four where FLUF also relists and handles offers. Allegro needs a business account, and Temu and La Redoute take business sellers only.
- Jófogás, the big Hungarian classifieds site, is outside FLUF. Ads there stay a manual job.
- FLUF Connect costs 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
Who this page is for
You live in Hungary and sell online: a wardrobe you are clearing on Vinted, a side business in vintage or electronics, or a registered shop with new stock. You want to know which marketplaces you can reach from here and how much of the repetitive work FLUF Connect takes off you. If you only ever post on Jófogás or in Facebook groups, FLUF will not help much, because it does not connect to either of those.
Marketplaces you can run from Hungary
This table is the full picture of what FLUF does on each marketplace a Hungarian seller is likely to use. The last column matters most, because it tells you where you still have to act yourself after a sale.
| Marketplace | Who it suits in Hungary | What FLUF does after a sale |
|---|---|---|
| Vinted (vinted.hu) | Private sellers of second-hand clothes, shoes, kids’ items and homeware | Sees the Vinted sale and ends your other listings. Removes the Vinted listing when the item sells elsewhere. Relists items and handles buyer offers on plans above Starter. |
| Allegro (allegro.hu) | Registered businesses with new or branded goods | Ends the Allegro offer when the item sells elsewhere. Does not see Allegro sales, so you mark the item sold in FLUF. |
| Temu | Business sellers of new goods | Sees the Temu order and removes your other listings. Removes the Temu listing when the item sells elsewhere. |
| La Redoute | Fashion and home brands accepted onto its marketplace programme | Lists only. Keep La Redoute stock in step by hand. |
| eBay, Depop and Vestiaire Collective | Collectables, vintage, streetwear and designer pieces with buyers abroad | Same as Vinted: sales are seen in both directions, and relisting and offers are available above Starter. |
| Shopify | Sellers with their own webshop | Sees Shopify orders and ends your marketplace listings. Updates Shopify stock when the item sells elsewhere. |
| Facebook Marketplace | Local pickup sales | Removes the Facebook listing when the item sells elsewhere. Does not see Facebook sales, so you mark the item sold in FLUF. |
Crosslisting and inventory sync are part of every FLUF plan. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with the plans above Starter.

Vinted.hu: priced in forints, paid for by the buyer
Vinted is where most Hungarian second-hand sellers should start. Its own explainer says there is no selling fee, so what you earn is yours. The cost sits with the buyer, who pays a Buyer Protection fee at checkout. On vinted.hu that fee is usually 5% of the item price plus 280 Ft.
Here is what that looks like. You list a winter coat at 10,000 Ft. The buyer pays 10,000 Ft, plus 780 Ft Buyer Protection (500 Ft + 280 Ft), plus postage. You receive 10,000 Ft once the buyer confirms the order is fine. Buyers have two days after delivery to report a problem.
The fixed part of the fee is set per country. Across the border, vinted.sk quotes 5% + €0.70. On a 2,000 Ft item the Hungarian buyer pays 380 Ft on top, which is 19% of the price. Cheap items feel expensive to buyers, so bundles sell better than single low-priced pieces.
Allegro.hu: a business marketplace that bills in HUF
Allegro is Poland’s largest marketplace, and it opened allegro.hu in 2024, the same year as its Slovak site. It is built for shops: new goods, branded products and items people search for by name.
Listing costs nothing. Allegro’s fee page says the only basic fee is the sales commission, which varies by category. Its rate card shows ranges such as 2.5% to 8% for electronics and a maximum of 11.5% for fashion, all as net amounts. The same page lets you pick Hungary to see the allegro.hu rates before you price anything.
Money is handled per market. Allegro opens a separate settlement account for each country site and charges you in that market’s currency: HUF for allegro.hu, EUR for allegro.sk, CZK for allegro.cz and PLN for allegro.pl. A Hungarian business selling only at home never touches a second currency. One that also sells into Slovakia or Poland through Allegro will be invoiced in each.
Two limits to know before you plan around it. You need an Allegro business account to publish offers through FLUF. And FLUF does not see sales made on Allegro. When something sells there, mark it sold in FLUF and FLUF ends the item everywhere else.
Temu and La Redoute
Both are for registered businesses. Temu takes new goods from business sellers, and FLUF handles sales in both directions there. La Redoute is a French fashion and home retailer that admits brands onto its marketplace by application. FLUF can list your products on La Redoute, and that is all it does there. If you sell one-off items, leave La Redoute out, because nothing will update its stock for you.
What is different about selling from Hungary
Three things set Hungary apart from its neighbours, and each one affects how you price.
- The forint. Slovakia sells in euros. Hungary does not, so Vinted.hu and allegro.hu listings, fees and payouts are all in Ft. If you also sell abroad on eBay or Depop, you are pricing the same item in two or three currencies.
- 27% VAT. Hungary’s standard VAT rate is 27%, against 23% in Slovakia and 21% in Czechia. For a VAT-registered seller of new goods, that is a larger slice of every shelf price than in any neighbouring country. Ask an accountant how it applies to you before you copy a Slovak competitor’s prices.
- Jófogás. The habit of posting a classified ad is strong here. Jófogás describes itself as a site for classified ads for used and new products, and it now offers buyers an optional protection service. Many of your buyers will check it first.
Parcel lockers are part of daily life too. Foxpost runs a Hungarian network of parcel machines for sending and collecting, and marketplaces here lean on locker delivery. Check which delivery options each marketplace offers your buyers before you set a postage price.
What FLUF does not reach in Hungary
FLUF does not connect to Jófogás or to Facebook groups. If you post the same coat on Vinted and on Jófogás, FLUF will end the Vinted listing when it sells elsewhere in FLUF, but the Jófogás ad is yours to take down. For one-off items, keep the list of places FLUF cannot see as short as you can.
