Crosslist from Amazon to TikTok Shop: A UK Seller’s Guide to Fees and Stock
What TikTok Shop UK charges against Amazon.co.uk, what a TikTok Shop listing needs, and how FLUF Connect keeps stock straight between the two.

Who this is for, and who it is not for
This page is for a UK business that already sells on Amazon.co.uk, packs its own parcels, and wants a second sales channel without building a second catalogue by hand.
Three groups should stop here:
- Sellers outside the UK. FLUF’s TikTok Shop connection covers the United Kingdom only.
- Amazon Individual-plan sellers. Third-party tools need a Professional account.
- FBA-only sellers. FLUF works with merchant-fulfilled offers. Stock held in Amazon’s warehouses stays in Seller Central.
Why an Amazon seller adds TikTok Shop
Amazon buyers arrive with a search already typed. TikTok Shop buyers see a product in a video or a live stream and buy it without leaving the app. The same product can sell on both for different reasons, which is why TikTok Shop tends to suit things that look good on camera: beauty, gadgets, homeware, toys, fashion.
It also changes who does the selling. TikTok’s fee guide lists affiliate commission as a separate line, paid to creators when their videos sell your product. You set that rate. On Amazon there is no equivalent, so budget for it before you compare margins.
What each platform takes
Amazon has two selling plans. Its pricing page says the Individual plan costs £0.75 per unit sold and the Professional plan £25 (excl. VAT) per month. On top sits a referral fee that depends on category, and Amazon says most are between 8% and 15%. For 2026 it cut the clothing rate to 5% on items up to £15 and 10% on items between £15 and £20.
TikTok Shop UK has no monthly plan. Its commission is 9%, inclusive of VAT, taken from the order settlement. The base is wider than the item price: net sales, plus customer-paid shipping, plus any discount TikTok funds. Some categories are lower. TikTok’s own example uses 5% for a computer.

The Amazon line leaves out the £25 monthly plan, and the TikTok line leaves out any creator commission you choose to offer. Check your own category’s referral fee on Amazon’s fee schedule, because a lower rate reverses the result.
What TikTok Shop asks for that an Amazon offer does not
- A UK seller registration. TikTok’s registration policy accepts two types of seller, Sole Traders and Corporate Sellers, and asks for business details and documents at sign-up. Standard UK selling is “Local to Local”, which means shipped from and delivered within the UK.
- A probation period. The same policy says all new sellers start in a Shop Probation Period. Expect limits in your first weeks that an established Amazon account does not have.
- Your own listing content. On Amazon you often add an offer to a product page someone else wrote. On TikTok Shop every product is your own listing, with your own title, photos and description. Check what arrived before you publish.
- Content. A listing with no video behind it gets little traffic. Plan who will film, or which creators you will send samples to.
Setting it up in FLUF Connect

The gap to plan around is the Amazon column. If you hold one unit of something and it sells on Amazon, TikTok Shop will keep showing it until you record the sale in FLUF. For products with deep stock this rarely bites. For single units, make recording Amazon sales part of your packing routine.
