Key takeaways

  • Kiabi, the French family clothing chain, has run a marketplace for partner brands on kiabi.com since June 2022. Its 2026 partnership brochure counts 230 partner brands and 12 million unique visits a month.
  • Kiabi’s marketplace mostly carries what Kiabi itself does not: home goods, toys, childcare, footwear, cosmetics and pet supplies.
  • Only professional sellers are accepted. You ship every order, set your own delivery charges and answer the customer yourself.
  • Marketplace items cannot be returned to a Kiabi store. Kiabi does not publish its fees; integrators quote €39 a month and 15% to 20% commission.
  • Once approved, you can connect your seller account in FLUF Connect and list stock whose barcodes are already in the Kiabi catalogue. FLUF does not create catalogue products or import Kiabi orders.

This guide is for a brand or wholesaler selling to families: baby equipment, toys, children’s shoes, bedding, small homeware, cosmetics or pet accessories. If your customer is a parent who already shops at Kiabi for children’s clothes, the marketplace puts your products in the same basket. If you sell second-hand children’s clothes as an individual, the marketplace is closed to you, and Vinted is the better fit.

What the Kiabi marketplace is

Kiabi sells low-priced clothing for the whole family through stores and kiabi.com. Its 2025 sustainability report gives 24.7 million customers and 646 points of sale. The 2026 partnership brochure puts group revenue at €2.5 billion and says the marketplace, launched in June 2022, now has 230 partner brands and 12 million unique visits a month.

On the site, a partner’s product carries the line “Vendu et expédié par” (sold and shipped by) followed by the seller’s name, according to the marketplace terms of use. The buyer pays Kiabi’s checkout once for a mixed basket, and the order goes to each seller to ship.

What you can sell

Kiabi uses the marketplace to fill out its range around the family. The marketplace conditions of sale (updated 13 November 2025) list home and family goods, toys, cosmetics, pet supplies and “tout produit complémentaire” (any product that complements) Kiabi’s own offer. The partnership brochure adds childcare and footwear.

Clothing that competes head-on with Kiabi’s own lines is a harder sell. A brand of baby carriers, wooden toys, children’s slippers, bath towels or dog beds fits the brief better than another plain T-shirt. Second-hand goods are not among the marketplace categories. Kiabi handles used clothing through a separate resale service, Beebs.

Who can sell and how to apply

The terms define a seller as a professional who has signed up to the marketplace, so private individuals cannot sell. To apply, use the “devenez vendeur” (become a seller) link in the footer of kiabi.com, which the terms of use point to in section 8.1. The detailed seller contract is sent during registration and is not public.

Expect the application to ask about your brands, the size of your catalogue, your prices and whether your products have barcodes. Barcodes matter twice: Kiabi lists products against them, and so does FLUF.

Fees

Kiabi does not publish its seller fees. Integrators that connect brands to the marketplace give the same picture: ChannelEngine and e-tailize both quote a monthly subscription of €39, no set-up fee and a commission of 15% to 20% of the sale price depending on category. Treat those figures as a starting point and confirm yours in the contract.

At 20%, a €30 toy gives up €6 in commission before you pay for postage. Kiabi lets you set your own delivery charges, so price them to cover the parcel instead of absorbing it.

Delivery, customer service and returns

You ship every order and handle customer questions and complaints yourself (section 11.3 of the terms of use). By default you deliver to mainland France and Corsica. Monaco and the French overseas departments and territories are optional, and you can restrict your delivery area further.

Returns are the point most sellers miss. The conditions of sale say a marketplace item cannot be returned to Kiabi or to a Kiabi store. When a customer changes their mind within the legal withdrawal period, they send it back to you and pay the return postage. When the item is faulty or not what was ordered, you pay.

Kiabi also reports sellers to the tax authorities under the EU’s DAC7 rules once they reach 30 sales or €2,000 in a year, which the terms of use set out.

Beyond France

The partnership brochure says Kiabi is taking the marketplace to Spain, Italy, Belgium and Portugal during 2026, and RetailDetail reported in March 2026 that Spain and Italy come first. FLUF Connect currently covers Kiabi in France.

Is Kiabi right for you?

It suits a French or European family brand with barcoded stock in toys, childcare, shoes, home or pet products that can ship quickly and answer parents in French. The audience is large and very price-aware, so it rewards everyday products at fair prices more than premium lines.

It suits less well a seller of second-hand goods, a business that cannot handle returns by post, or a premium fashion label. For other French retail marketplaces, see La Redoute, Decathlon and Showroomprivé.

Using FLUF Connect with Kiabi

Kiabi approves its own sellers, so FLUF has no application link for it. On the Channels screen in FLUF Connect its card is marked “Invite only” and covers one country, France. Once your shop is live and your products are in the Kiabi catalogue, choose “Already approved? Connect” on the card.

FLUF can then list items from your inventory that already exist in the Kiabi catalogue, matched by barcode. A boxed toy or a pair of branded children’s shoes with its EAN in your FLUF inventory can be offered there, while products without a barcode stay on your other channels.

FLUF does not see Kiabi orders, so a sale there does not lower the stock on your other channels. When an order comes in for your last unit, mark it sold in FLUF and it comes down from the other marketplaces you list it on.

FLUF’s plans for businesses selling on several channels are on the pricing page. Start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month to see the Channels screen with your own stock.
