Poshmark to BigCommerce: Open a Store Without Leaving Your Closet

When a Poshmark seller in the US or Canada should add a BigCommerce store, how the plan fee compares with 20% on each sale, and how FLUF keeps stock in step.

70+ marketplaces, one dashboard Auto inventory sync WhatsApp, email & in-app support

Every Poshmark sale at $15 or more is reported to cost you 20%. That is fair while Poshmark is finding your buyers. Once you have a following, part of your sales would come to you anyway, and a BigCommerce store lets you keep more of those at a fixed monthly cost. FLUF Connect fills the store from your Poshmark inventory, and a sale on either side takes the item off the other.

In short

  • A store makes sense when you can send it your own traffic. BigCommerce brings no buyers.
  • BigCommerce’s Core plan is $29 a month billed annually, with no commission from BigCommerce.
  • At a $40 average sale, about five store sales a month cover the plan, compared with paying Poshmark’s reported 20%.
  • Poshmark and BigCommerce sales both come into FLUF, which updates the other channel for you.

The sum that decides it

Poshmark’s fee is reported as 20% on sales of $15 or more, with processing included, per Voolist’s 2026 fee breakdown. On a $40 top, that is $8. BigCommerce’s pricing page lists Core at $29 a month billed annually, and card processing through its own payments from 2.89% + $0.29 for US businesses, which is $1.45 on the same top.

$40 top On Poshmark In your store
Fee per sale $8.00 $1.45
Monthly cost $0 $29, billed annually
Saving per sale in the store n/a $6.55
Store sales a month to cover the plan n/a About 5

Those store sales must be extra, or at least ones you would otherwise have made on Poshmark. If you have no audience to send to the store, the plan fee is simply a loss. Core also carries a sales limit, listed at $30,000 over twelve months, after which the plan moves up to Growth at $79.

Who should wait

Hold off if most of your sales come from Poshmark’s feed and sharing, if you have no social following or mailing list, or if your average sale is under $15. At that price, a store saves you very little per sale and you still have to post each one yourself. You will also lose Poshmark’s prepaid label and its buyer protection on those orders, so shipping rates, returns and disputes become yours to set.

Your Poshmark photos, title, description and price go to the store as a product. Before publishing a batch, reconsider two things. A Poshmark price usually leaves room for offers, and a store price is final, so you can often set it lower and still end up ahead. Titles written for Poshmark’s search can also carry more brand and size detail for Google, which is the main source of store visitors you did not send yourself.
