Vinted to Stripe: Payment Links for Buyers Who Find You Off Vinted
When a UK Vinted seller needs a Stripe Payment Link, what a card payment costs, and how FLUF stops an item selling twice.
Some of your buyers never open Vinted. They follow you on social media, stop at your stall at a vintage fair, or are friends of past customers. For them, a Stripe Payment Link is a card checkout for one item, sent as a link or shown as a QR code. FLUF Connect turns items in your Vinted inventory into Stripe products with a Payment Link, so you can sell the same stock both ways.
In short
- Use Stripe links for buyers outside Vinted: social followers, fairs, pop-ups and regulars.
- Keep Vinted buyers on Vinted. Its Buyer Protection covers purchases made with the Buy now button.
- Stripe has no monthly fee. A standard UK card costs 1.5% + 20p, so £1.10 on a £60 coat.
- A Vinted sale switches the Stripe link off. A Stripe payment needs marking sold in FLUF, which ends the Vinted listing.
When a link beats a Vinted listing
- Fairs and pop-ups. Print the QR code on a tag. A buyer scans it and pays by card at the rail, and the Vinted copy of that item comes down once you mark it sold.
- Social media followers. Put the link in a story, a post or a reply. Your follower pays in a familiar card checkout without making a Vinted account.
- Regulars who message you directly. A buyer who has bought from you before can pay for the next piece the same day.
Vinted says on its help page that Buyer Protection applies when a purchase is made with the Buy now button. Someone who found you on Vinted should buy on Vinted, where that cover exists. A Stripe link carries none of it: postage, returns and any dispute are between you and the buyer.
What each costs
Vinted’s UK help centre says there are no fees for uploading items or selling them. The buyer pays the Buyer Protection fee. Stripe’s UK pricing has no monthly fee and charges per successful card payment. Payment Links cost nothing on top.
| £60 coat | On Vinted | By Stripe link |
|---|---|---|
| Your fee | £0 | £1.10 on a standard UK card |
| Premium UK card | £0 | £1.88 (2.8% + 20p) |
| Card from the EEA | £0 | £1.70 (2.5% + 20p), plus 2% if currency is converted |
| Who pays for buyer cover | The buyer, through Buyer Protection | There is none |
| Postage | Vinted label, paid by the buyer | You agree it with the buyer |
Add postage to the Stripe price, or agree collection, before you share the link. The link charges one fixed amount.
How to send Vinted items to Stripe
- Connect Vinted through the FLUF browser extension or the FLUF mobile app, so your listings appear in your FLUF inventory.
- Connect Stripe from its card on the Channels screen and approve the FLUF Connect app when Stripe asks.
- Filter the inventory to Vinted and select the items.
- Choose Stripe as the destination, check the price and publish.

Each item becomes a Stripe product with a Payment Link. Stripe’s sharing guide shows where to copy the link or download its QR code. A price change in FLUF creates a new link, so reprint a tag after you change a price.
After a sale
| What happens | Result |
|---|---|
| It sells on Vinted | The sale comes into FLUF and the Stripe link stops taking payments |
| A buyer pays by Stripe link | FLUF does not see Stripe payments. Mark the item sold in FLUF and the Vinted listing comes down |
| A buyer pays cash at a fair | Mark it sold in FLUF, which ends the Vinted listing and the Stripe link |
At a busy fair, mark each sale in the FLUF app as it happens. A coat sold at the rail is still for sale on Vinted until you do.
What FLUF costs
Crosslisting, inventory sync and order sync are on every FLUF plan. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with Pro and above. Plans are on the pricing page, and you can start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
