Key takeaways

  • Åhléns is a Swedish department store chain. On ahlens.se it sells products from partner companies, called samarbetsföretag, next to its own range.
  • The shopper’s purchase contract is with you, the partner, and your products carry a “Samarbetsföretag” or “Säljs av” label.
  • Returns go to you, not to an Åhléns store, and Åhléns’ terms promise free returns by carrier on partner items.
  • Åhléns gift cards, member bonus and Swish cannot be used on an order that contains partner products.
  • Once approved, you can connect your seller account in FLUF Connect and list stock whose barcodes are already in the Åhléns catalogue. FLUF does not create catalogue products or import orders.

This guide is for a Nordic brand in clothing, home, kids’ products or beauty that wants its range on the website of a store most Swedes know. A private seller is not the audience; in Sweden Tradera and Tise take individuals.

How partner products appear on ahlens.se

Åhléns’ partner terms say every item sold by a partner company is labelled “Samarbetsföretag” or “Säljs av” followed by the partner’s name. The checkout also shows which partner is selling. When the shopper places the order, the binding purchase contract is with that partner, not with Åhléns. Åhléns only helps the customer get in touch with you if they need to.

The same page lists every current partner, 115 companies in November 2026. Most are Swedish brands, such as Stutterheim, Didriksons, Eton, Tenson and Sudio. Danish, Estonian, Spanish and Dutch companies are on the list too, so a seller outside Sweden can be accepted.

What the terms put on you

Area What Åhléns’ terms say for partner items
Who sells The partner. The contract and the order confirmation name you.
Returns Sent back to you, never to an Åhléns store or the Åhléns warehouse
Return postage Free returns by carrier are always offered to the shopper
Right of withdrawal 14 days from when the shopper tells you they want to return
Payment Gift cards, credit notes, member bonus and Swish cannot be used on orders that include partner products
Holiday returns Purchases from 4 November to 8 December 2026 can be returned until 6 January, partner items included

Two of those rows affect your margin. Free returns mean a return costs the shopper nothing, so ask Åhléns at the start who pays the carrier and price your range with that in mind. The long holiday window means stock sold in late November can come back in January, after the season it was bought for.

The payment rule matters more than it looks. A shopper holding an Åhléns gift card, or one who wants to pay with the Swedish mobile payment app Swish, can only spend it on Åhléns’ own range, so a basket with your item in it needs a card or another method.

Fees and how you apply

Åhléns does not publish a fee schedule or an application form for partners. Each partnership runs under its own contract with Åhléns. Contact Åhléns about your range, and ask for the commission on your categories, any monthly charge and the payout timetable in writing.

Is it right for you?

It suits a brand with an established name in Scandinavia, products with barcodes, and its own warehouse and returns address. It is a harder fit for a seller with no Swedish-language content, no fast delivery into Sweden, or margins too thin to absorb free returns. Other European department stores with partner programmes include Manor in Switzerland and Galeria in Germany.

Using FLUF Connect with Åhléns

On the Channels screen in FLUF Connect the Åhléns card is marked “Invite only” and covers one country, Sweden. Once Åhléns has accepted you and your products are in its catalogue, choose “Already approved? Connect” on the card.

FLUF can then list items from your inventory that already exist in the Åhléns catalogue, matched by barcode. A brand that runs its own Shopify store from the same stock can offer those units on ahlens.se without entering them twice.
