The Nordic second-hand market and your local platforms
Sweden’s second-hand market is worth SEK 8.3 billion annually, with 75% of the population having bought second-hand at least once. Three marketplaces dominate the resale side of your market.
Vinted is the largest platform, and its model is commission-free
Vinted is the biggest resale platform in Sweden and charges sellers zero commission. If an item sells for 200 SEK, you receive 200 SEK. The buyer pays a protection fee (a percentage plus a fixed amount), which covers the platform and payment processing.
To list on Vinted through FLUF Connect, you need the FLUF browser extension or the FLUF mobile app. When an item sells on Vinted, FLUF sees the sale and ends the listing on your other channels that support automatic removal.
Tise serves the whole Nordic region from one account
Tise is a social marketplace founded in Norway that operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland with over 2.5 million users. The platform was acquired in 2025 but runs as its own app and website. Tise focuses on second-hand fashion and interiors and appeals to younger sellers and buyers with a social feed experience.
With FLUF, you connect Tise without needing an extension. FLUF lists your items on Tise, sees sales and removes the listing from your other channels. Relisting and offer management are not available on Tise through FLUF.
Tradera is a Swedish auction site that reaches global buyers
Tradera is Sweden’s own auction and classifieds platform and is open to buyers and sellers worldwide. Tradera charges 10% commission on the total sale (item price plus shipping), capped at 2,000 SEK per item. The fee is deducted before money reaches your bank.
FLUF can list your items on Tradera, but it does not see Tradera sales and does not end Tradera listings. When something sells on Tradera, mark it sold in FLUF and FLUF ends the other listings. When it sells elsewhere, end the Tradera listing yourself.
Global and international marketplaces
From Sweden, you can also list on eBay, Amazon (via amazon.se), Depop, Etsy, Vestiaire Collective, Grailed, Shopify and WooCommerce. FLUF Connect supports 53 channels in total. Each works for Swedish sellers through international storefronts or accounts.
Temu’s local seller programme includes Sweden
Temu opened its local seller programme in Sweden in 2024 and has opened a Swedish warehouse. FLUF can list your items on Temu with no relisting or offer management available.
The sites FLUF does not drive
Blocket is Sweden’s largest classifieds site, founded in 1996 and deeply trusted by Swedish sellers and buyers for everything from furniture to electronics to cars. FLUF does not connect to Blocket. If your inventory sits mostly on Blocket, that part stays with you to manage by hand.
Parcel networks make daily volume realistic
Swedish parcel delivery is handled by three main networks. PostNord operates 2,300 pickup points and 4,200 parcel lockers across Sweden. Instabox and Budbee (merged as Instabee) run 1,000 pickup points and 1,700 lockers. DHL Service Point delivers to nearby shops and lockers. When you list on platforms like Vinted that offer integrated shipping, the platform picks your carrier. For others, you manage the account yourself. The practical ceiling on daily posts is the walk to your nearest pickup point, not waiting for a courier at home.
Payment and banking
Swish is a mobile payment system linked to Swedish bank accounts, and 85% of Sweden uses it. Most marketplaces pay out to Swish or a Swedish bank account, and most Swedish buyers use Swish too, so it is worth setting up if you do not already have it.
Tax reporting and the €2,000 rule
In Sweden, Skatteverket receives reports from digital platforms if you sell more than 30 items in a year or for more than €2,000. This is called DAC7 reporting. Income from resale is still taxed under the same rules for private or commercial sales. Skatteverket simply keeps a record of your sales volume from the platform itself. If you are trading regularly rather than clearing a wardrobe, you can register as a business through Skatteverket. The registration is free and usually same-day once you have a personal ID number.
What moves from a Swedish account
Fashion is the largest category on Swedish resale platforms, and everyday womenswear and childrenswear sell domestically on Vinted at Swedish prices. Designer and vintage pieces realise their price on Vestiaire Collective and Grailed, where the buyer is more likely to be outside Sweden. Electronics, books and collectables do well on a mix of platforms depending on the item. Tradera’s auction format works well for niche items and collectors’ goods; Vinted and Tise suit volume daily wear.
