Crosslist from Amazon to OnBuy: A Second UK Marketplace for Your Stock
Fees, OnBuy's seller rules, payout timing, and how FLUF handles sales on both.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
- This route is for UK Amazon sellers who want a second marketplace for the same branded stock. OnBuy connects to FLUF for UK sellers only.
- Both charge a monthly fee and a cut of each sale: Amazon Professional is £25 a month (excl. VAT) plus a referral fee, and OnBuy charges a monthly subscription plus a sales fee.
- FLUF does not see sales on either marketplace, so each sale needs one click in FLUF to take the item off the other.
- OnBuy pays out later than many sellers expect: you can withdraw funds within 7 days of the end of the delivery timeframe you set.

Who this suits
Selling only on Amazon means one account suspension, fee change or listing takedown can stop your income overnight. OnBuy is a UK marketplace built the same way, with shared product pages and offers from several sellers. That makes it an easy second home for the new, branded, barcoded stock Amazon sellers already hold. You are adding an offer to a product page, not writing a listing from scratch.
It suits less well if you sell one-offs, used goods or your own unbranded products, where a shared catalogue page gives you nothing to work with. It also needs some volume. Both marketplaces charge a monthly fee whether you sell or not.
How the fees compare
Amazon UK’s Professional plan is £25 a month (excl. VAT), and the Individual plan is £0.75 per unit sold. On top of that, every sale pays a referral fee by category. Consumer electronics and computers pay 7%, and home products pay 8% up to £20 and 15% above.
OnBuy’s seller terms list a Monthly Subscription Fee and a Sales Fee on every sale, plus optional Boost and OnBuy Ads fees. The terms note that a Sales Fee can be made up of two percentages with lower and upper price thresholds. Your seller control panel shows the rate for each category, so compare it with your Amazon referral fee line by line before you set OnBuy prices.
OnBuy’s rules for sellers
OnBuy runs a tighter ship than many Amazon sellers expect. From its seller terms:
- Dispatch: you set a handling time of up to 10 days and a delivery timeframe of 1 to 30 days, and must dispatch within the handling time.
- Customer messages: you must answer enquiries, including returns and disputes, within 48 hours, and only through OnBuy’s seller panel.
- No steering: you may not use OnBuy to tempt customers into buying through another channel. Amazon’s code of conduct has the same rule the other way round, so keep each marketplace’s buyers on that marketplace.
- Refunds: when you refund, OnBuy returns the matching part of the sales fee but charges a refund administration fee.
Cash flow
OnBuy’s terms let you request a withdrawal no later than 7 days after the end of the Delivery Timeframe, and OnBuy starts the payout by the end of the next business day. The timeframe you choose therefore sets how long you wait. A 3-day delivery timeframe means your money arrives about 10 days after dispatch, where a 30-day one could leave it tied up for well over a month. Choose the shortest timeframe you can reliably meet.
What FLUF does on each side

| How you connect | Sign in with your Amazon seller account | Your OnBuy seller account details |

Since FLUF sees neither side’s orders, marking sales is part of packing. When an order comes in on either marketplace, record it in FLUF and the other listing comes down. With several units of a line the timing is forgiving. On the last unit, do it before you pack.
