Crosslist from Kijiji to Poshmark Canada — Trading the Repost for the Share
Kijiji ads die at 60 days and you repost. Poshmark listings live forever and you share them four times a day. Here is the C$20 fee line, the four fields Kijiji never captured, and which half of your ads can actually make the move.
- You are swapping one kind of unpaid labour for another. Kijiji‘s toil is the repost — ads die at 60 days and the treadmill starts again. Poshmark‘s toil is the share, four themed parties a day, every day, on Pacific Time regardless of where in Canada you live.
- Fashion only, and the C$20 line matters more than anything else. Poshmark takes a flat C$3.95 below C$20 and 20% at or above it. Under about C$25 the shipping alone kills the sale.
- Shipping stops being your problem and starts being the buyer’s. A flat C$12.49 Canada Post label, or C$6.99 via Purolator pickup since May 2026, paid by the buyer — but you eat the upgrade above 2.5 kg.
- Every structured field is new. Kijiji has no brand, no size, and no documented condition field at all. Poshmark requires brand, size, colour and one of four conditions, and the listing is what the buyer decides from.
- Kijiji’s own reach claim is now “nearly 5 million Canadians every month.” Poshmark says it has passed six million Canadian users. Those are different metrics and this page does not pretend otherwise, but the direction is worth noticing.
- No crosslisting tool on the market supports Kijiji. Not Vendoo, List Perfectly, Crosslist, PrimeLister or SellerAider. Kijiji is where most Canadian resellers start and it has had zero coverage.
- Cost: £1 for 7 days, then plans from £9/month (Starter — 300 products). There is no free plan.

Two treadmills: the repost and the share
Both of these platforms will make you work for free. It is worth knowing in advance which kind of unpaid work each one wants, because they are not the same shape and one of them is much easier to automate than the other.
Kijiji’s demand is periodic. “Most Kijiji ads remain active for 60 days before they expire,” and after that the ad drops out of search into Inactive, where it waits up to another 60 days before permanent deletion; reposting “extends your ad for the same duration as the original posting period” (Kijiji, how long listings stay active). Paid Bump Up exists, and Kijiji is careful to note what it does not do: “A Bump Up resets the posting date of your ad but does not extend the ad’s expiration date” (Kijiji, how to bump up). So you can pay to look new and still expire on schedule. And you cannot simply post the same thing twice to cover the gap — Kijiji’s duplicate-ads policy says plainly that duplicates “may be automatically detected and removed by system filters,” including the same content across multiple cities (Kijiji, duplicate ads policy).
Poshmark’s demand is continuous. Its visibility mechanic is the share, and Poshmark is explicit about the payoff: sharing an on-theme listing to a Posh Party “is a great way to get more visibility for your listings (more eyeballs = more sales!)” (Poshmark, Posh Parties 101). There are four parties a day — brand parties at 9am, category parties at noon, department parties at 4pm and style parties at 7pm — and they run on Pacific Time. For a seller in Toronto that is noon, 3pm, 7pm and 10pm; in Halifax the last party lands at 11pm. Poshmark does not localise the schedule.
Poshmark added a second clock in April 2026. Listings that have gone 60 days without being bundled, commented on, offered on or edited are flagged as inactive, are deprioritised in search and browse, and must be manually reactivated. Listings also cannot be bulk deleted; removal is one at a time from each listing page (Poshmark, April 2026 seller update). A whole paid economy of sharing bots exists for exactly this reason, which is itself the clearest evidence of how much work it is.
The honest summary: crosslisting fixes the Kijiji treadmill, because reposting is mechanical and a machine can do it. It does not fix the Poshmark treadmill, because sharing is a social action Poshmark meters and polices, and Poshmark’s terms specifically forbid using “any technology, software or automated systems to collect any information or data for the Service” and putting “unreasonable load” on it (Poshmark Canada, Terms of Service). FLUF will get your listings onto Poshmark and keep them consistent with your other channels. The sharing is still yours.
The C$20 line, and why cheap items do not survive it
Poshmark Canada’s fee policy is two sentences long and they decide which of your Kijiji ads are worth moving. From the Canada Fee Policy: “For all sales under C$20, Poshmark takes a flat commission of C$3.95. For sales of C$20 or more, you keep 80% of your sale and Poshmark’s commission is 20%. All orders include a GST/HST on the Poshmark fee that is deducted from the seller’s earnings” (Poshmark Canada, Legal Center).
Note the third sentence — the sales tax on Poshmark’s own fee comes out of your side, at your province’s rate. Now put the buyer’s shipping next to it. The default is a flat C$12.49 Canada Post home-delivery label paid by the buyer, with a Purolator pick-up option at C$6.99 introduced on 26 May 2026 for sellers who enable it and live near a drop-off point (Poshmark, C$6.99 shipping).
| Listed price | Poshmark commission | You keep, before GST/HST on the fee | What the buyer pays with the C$12.49 label |
|---|---|---|---|
| C$15 | C$3.95 flat | C$11.05 | C$27.49 |
| C$25 | C$5.00 | C$20.00 | C$37.49 |
| C$60 | C$12.00 | C$48.00 | C$72.49 |
| C$150 | C$30.00 | C$120.00 | C$162.49 |
The first row is the argument. A C$15 top nets you eleven dollars and asks the buyer for twenty-seven — for an item they could have collected from a Kijiji seller two suburbs away for fifteen in cash. That is not a Poshmark flaw; it is what shipping a physical parcel across Canada costs, and Canadian sellers talk about it constantly. The practical rule is that anything under roughly C$25 should stay on Kijiji, where the buyer drives to you and the whole price is yours, and anything above about C$40 in a brand somebody searches for belongs on Poshmark, where the buyer pool is the country rather than the city.
One more line belongs in the arithmetic. The prepaid label covers packages up to 2.5 kg; above that you regenerate the label and pay an upgrade fee, and Poshmark states plainly that “any extra costs will be deducted from your earnings” (Poshmark, overweight shipping labels). Coats, boots and anything with a heavy sole are the items where a good margin quietly becomes a mediocre one.
On the money itself: buyers have three days from delivery to accept, and if they do not, funds release automatically on the fourth day. Direct Deposit then takes typically two to three business days and is the free option; Instant Transfer to a Visa debit card lands in about thirty minutes for a flat fee, and PayPal carries a transfer fee (Poshmark, how to get paid). Against a Kijiji handover, where the cash is in your hand before the buyer leaves, that is roughly a week of float.
The fields Kijiji never asked you for
Kijiji’s ad form is deliberately loose. Title, category, description, price and a location with a mandatory postal code, plus up to ten photos and up to five optional keyword tags (Kijiji, how to post an ad). That is it. There is no brand field, no size field, and no documented standard condition field — condition on Kijiji is a sentence in the description, and per-category attributes exist only for verticals like Cars & Vehicles.
Poshmark’s form is structured, because its buyers shop by filter. Brand, size and condition are real fields carried in the listing data, alongside a numeric “Original Price” and a maximum of sixteen photos (Poshmark Canada, how to list an item). The condition set is four values: New With Tags (NWT), Like New, Good, and Fair.
| Kijiji | Poshmark | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Title | Transfers |
| Description | Description | Transfers |
| Up to 10 photos | Up to 16 photos | All transfer — Poshmark has the larger allowance |
| Price | Listing price | Transfers; consider a channel price rule for the fee and the label |
| Category | Category and subcategory | Mapped |
| — | Brand | Required in practice — Poshmark’s own guidance is that listings with a brand are more likely to sell |
| — | Size | Structured, with a size system |
| Description prose | Condition | One of four: New With Tags, Like New, Good, Fair |
| — | Colour | Poshmark asks for the two most prevalent colours |
| — | Original Price | Optional numeric field, shown to buyers as the discount |
| Postal code, location | — | Not used — Poshmark ships, so proximity is irrelevant |
| Up to 5 keyword tags | Style Tags | Different mechanics; not a direct mapping |
There is one technical trap worth knowing before you start. Kijiji does not support HEIC images on Windows desktop Chrome or on Android mobile web, and supports them only partially on macOS Chrome (Kijiji, image compatibility). If your photos come off an iPhone, you may already have a library of pictures that behave differently on each platform — worth converting once rather than debugging per listing.
Which half of your Kijiji ads can actually go
Most Kijiji sellers are not fashion sellers, and this is the part that decides how much of this route applies to you.
Kijiji spans more than 400 categories across Buy & Sell, Cars & Vehicles, Real Estate, Jobs, Services, Pets, Community and Vacation Rentals (Kijiji, about). Poshmark Canada is broader than pure fashion — its own navigation carries Women, Men, Kids, Home, Electronics, Pets and Beauty & Wellness — but its Prohibited Items Policy scopes it as “most types of new and pre-owned fashion, new personal care items, as well as select home goods, pet items, and electronics with certain restrictions within these categories” (Poshmark Canada, Prohibited Items Policy).
Read the restrictions before you assume a category is open. Electronics must be factory-reset and signed out. Makeup and personal care must be new, never swatched, alcohol-free, factory-sealed and unexpired — which in practice rules out aerosols, perfumes and nail polish, since they cannot travel on Poshmark’s labels at all. Used socks and underwear are banned outright, although new-with-tags undergarments and pre-owned bras and swimwear are permitted. Counterfeits, “replicas”, anything described as “inspired by” a brand, and upcycled branded goods are grounds for removal, withheld payment or permanent suspension.
So the furniture, the tools, the car parts, the bicycle and the rental listing stay on Kijiji, which is the right home for them. What crosses is clothing, footwear, bags and accessories, especially in brands Canadians search for — Poshmark’s own five-year Canadian data names lululemon athletica, Aritzia, Zara, Nike and Levi’s as the best-selling brands in the market (Poshmark, five years in Canada). An Aritzia coat that has sat unviewed on Kijiji for two 60-day cycles is close to the ideal candidate.
How to crosslist with FLUF Connect
- Create a FLUF account and install the browser extension. Both channels run through your own signed-in sessions rather than a public API, so the extension is how FLUF reaches them. Kijiji publishes no seller API at all, which is the root cause of everything on this page.
- Connect Kijiji. FLUF reads your live ads into a catalogue — titles, descriptions, prices and photos — so you are not re-typing anything to begin.
- Connect Poshmark. Poshmark Canada and Poshmark US are separate marketplaces with no cross-border shipping between them; FLUF connects the one your account belongs to.
- Filter to what is eligible. Clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, plus the permitted home, pet and electronics items within their restrictions. Leave everything else on Kijiji.
- Set a channel price rule. Poshmark’s commission and the buyer’s label are both real, and a Kijiji price carried across unchanged usually reads as too cheap to be worth shipping. A per-channel adjustment is applied when the listing is built, so your Kijiji prices stay as they are.
- Review brand, size, colour and condition, then publish. These are the four fields Kijiji never captured, so they need a decision once per item; FLUF proposes values and you correct the outliers.
What syncs, and what honestly does not
| Event | What happens |
|---|---|
| Item sells on Poshmark | You mark it sold in FLUF and the Kijiji ad comes down. Kijiji supports mark-as-sold, and that is the safe direction — sold elsewhere, withdraw the ad. |
| Item sells on Kijiji | You mark it sold in FLUF. A Kijiji sale is cash between two people; the platform never learns of it and there is no order for anything to read. |
| Automatic relisting | Not available on either channel through FLUF. Poshmark’s 60-day inactive-listing decay and Kijiji’s 60-day expiry are both handled by you, not by us. |
| Offer management | Not available on either channel through FLUF. Poshmark offers and Kijiji haggling both happen natively. |
| Order sync | Neither channel supports it in FLUF. Poshmark’s supported feature set is mark-as-sold only, and so is Kijiji’s. |
| Sharing to Posh Parties | Yours. This is a social action Poshmark meters and its terms restrict automated load, so FLUF does not touch it. |
That is a thinner sync story than a Shopify or eBay pairing, and it would be dishonest to dress it up. The value here is the listing work and the consistency, not a two-way real-time feed. What FLUF genuinely removes is the re-keying of brand, size, colour and condition for every item, the photo download-and-re-upload cycle, and the risk of leaving something live on Kijiji after it has shipped from Poshmark. Inventory sync explains which channels do support automatic delisting from a detected sale.
Why no other tool covers Kijiji
Checked on 25 August 2026 against each vendor’s own supported-marketplace page: Kijiji appears on none of them. Not Vendoo, not List Perfectly, not Crosslist, not PrimeLister, not SellerAider. Between them they cover a stable set of roughly fifteen marketplaces, and the biggest classifieds site in Canada is not one of them.
The reason is mechanical rather than commercial. Kijiji publishes no seller API and no developer portal; its business offering is a subscription package with no technical integration behind it. Everything that exists in the wild is either a scraper or an unofficial reverse-engineered client. Building against it means driving the seller’s own browser, which is a substantially harder engineering problem than calling an API — and which is exactly what FLUF does.
Poshmark Canada is barely better served. Of the major tools, only PrimeLister documents Poshmark Canada support at all, and it is the most expensive entry tier with the shortest marketplace list. List Perfectly states outright in its own FAQ that it supports US marketplaces only.
What it costs
FLUF Connect is £1 for 7 days, then plans from £9/month — Starter, 300 products. Growth is £19/month for 1,000 products, Seller £49 for 2,500, Pro £99 for 5,000 and Super Seller £299 for unlimited. There is no free plan. Relisting, offer management, inventory sync and bulk operations are included in every plan on every channel that supports them, not sold as add-ons.
The platforms charge separately. Ordinary Buy & Sell ads on Kijiji are free and carry no commission; fees there are aimed at dealers and high-volume sellers who exceed the published per-category listing limits (Kijiji, category pricing overview). Poshmark charges nothing to list and takes its commission only on a sale.

Where a figure could not be traced to the platform that sets it, this page omits it. Kijiji’s title and description character limits and its promotion prices all fall into that category, as do Poshmark’s title and description limits and the exact fees for Instant Transfer and PayPal withdrawals — Poshmark states that those fees exist without publishing the amounts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Poshmark Canada's own fee policy states that for all sales under C$20 it takes a flat commission of C$3.95, and for sales of C$20 or more it takes 20% and you keep 80%. A GST/HST charge on Poshmark's fee is also deducted from the seller's earnings at the seller's provincial rate. There is no listing fee, no subscription and no separate card-processing fee — Poshmark absorbs the card fees itself.
The buyer does. The default is a flat C$12.49 Canada Post home-delivery label, and since 26 May 2026 sellers can also enable a Purolator Pick Up option at C$6.99 if they live near a drop-off point. The prepaid label covers packages up to 2.5 kg; above that you regenerate the label and Poshmark deducts the upgrade cost from your earnings, so coats and boots need checking before you price them.
The fashion ones, mostly. Poshmark Canada covers clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, plus Home, Pets, Electronics and Beauty within restrictions — electronics must be factory-reset and signed out, and personal care must be new, unswatched, alcohol-free and factory-sealed, which rules out aerosols, perfumes and nail polish because they cannot travel on Poshmark labels. Used socks and underwear are banned. Furniture, tools, car parts and bicycles stay on Kijiji, where they belong.
Usually not. A C$15 item nets you about C$11 after the flat C$3.95 commission, and the buyer is asked for C$27.49 once the C$12.49 label is added — for something a local Kijiji buyer would collect for fifteen dollars cash. As a rule of thumb, anything under about C$25 stays on Kijiji and anything above about C$40 in a searchable brand is worth the national audience Poshmark gives you.
Four things: brand, size, colour and condition. Kijiji's ad form has no brand field, no size field and no documented standard condition field — condition on Kijiji is a sentence in the description. Poshmark carries all four as structured data, with condition limited to New With Tags, Like New, Good or Fair, plus an optional numeric Original Price field. Poshmark also allows sixteen photos where Kijiji allows ten, so nothing is lost on the image side.
Only through you, and it is fair to say so plainly. Both channels support mark-as-sold in FLUF and nothing more — no order sync, no relisting and no offer management on either side. So when something sells on Poshmark you mark it sold in FLUF and the Kijiji ad comes down; when something sells for cash on Kijiji you do the same and the Poshmark listing comes down. Neither platform hands us a machine-readable order to read instead.
No, and that is deliberate. Sharing is a social action Poshmark meters internally, and its Canadian Terms of Service restrict using automated systems in ways that put unreasonable load on the service. FLUF gets your listings onto Poshmark and keeps them consistent with your other channels; the four daily parties are still yours to work. Worth knowing that they run on Pacific Time regardless of your Canadian timezone, so the 7pm style party is 10pm in Toronto.
Yes, for both channels. Kijiji publishes no seller API and no developer portal at all — its business offering is a subscription package with no technical integration behind it — so listing there has to be driven through your own signed-in browser session. Poshmark likewise has no public API. That is precisely why no other crosslisting tool covers Kijiji.
No. Checked on 25 August 2026 against each vendor's own supported-marketplace page, Kijiji appears on none of Vendoo, List Perfectly, Crosslist, PrimeLister or SellerAider. Between them they cover a stable set of roughly fifteen marketplaces and the largest classifieds site in Canada is not one of them. Poshmark Canada is barely better served: only PrimeLister documents support for it, and List Perfectly states in its own FAQ that it supports US marketplaces only.

There is no free plan. Relisting, offer management, inventory sync and bulk operations are included in every plan on every channel that supports them, rather than sold as add-ons. Kijiji and Poshmark charge their own fees separately.
