Crosslist from Trendyol to Amazon — barcoded stock from Türkiye to Amazon’s Turkish, Gulf and EU marketplaces

Trendyol forced a barcode onto every variant you sell, and Amazon is a catalogue keyed on exactly those numbers. Which of your codes Amazon will take, what each of its Turkish, Gulf and German marketplaces charges, how micro-export paperwork works, and which sync directions FLUF Connect supports today.

Key Takeaways — crosslisting from Trendyol to Amazon

  • Trendyol made you barcode every variant. Amazon is a catalogue keyed on those numbers, so a Trendyol store arrives with the one piece of data most sellers lack. The catch: Trendyol accepts a code you typed yourself, Amazon wants a GS1 number.
  • Amazon.com.tr charges 99 TL plus KDV a month for a Professional account (currently waived) and referral fees from 6% to 20%; clothing is 15.5%, shoes and bags 17%. Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa are also waiving the subscription and take 15% on apparel.
  • Trendyol’s seller storefronts are Türkiye, Germany, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Greece, Slovakia, Romania, Czechia and Bulgaria. Amazon runs a marketplace in four of those.
  • Everything on Trendyol is new stock, and Amazon’s apparel, shoes, sports, baby and grocery categories are New only. That is a match, not a barrier.
  • Protection runs one way. A sale on any connected channel zeroes both your Trendyol and Amazon quantities. A sale on Trendyol, or on Amazon, does not yet pull anything else down.
  • Micro-export via ETGB now covers consignments up to 600 kg and 30,000 euros, which is the paperwork most sellers on this route will actually use.
  • FLUF Connect supports both channels without a browser extension; 7 days for £1, then from £9/month, then plans from £9/month across 51 marketplaces.

Who this route is for

This page is for a seller who already has a catalogue on Trendyol and wants the same barcoded, factory-new goods on Amazon: a Turkish brand or distributor on trendyol.com, or a German, Saudi or Emirati merchant on one of Trendyol’s newer storefronts. If you sell pre-owned goods, this is the wrong page; Trendyol does not carry them and neither will Amazon in the categories that matter.

Two facts shape the route. The first is scale on the Trendyol side: the company’s own careers site puts it at around 30 million customers and 250,000 sellers, and Anadolu Agency reported Turkish sellers moving 4.5 million products abroad through Trendyol in March and April 2024, worth US$650 million of exports the previous year, with Riyadh, Jeddah, Baku, Dubai, Mecca and Abu Dhabi the leading foreign cities. Trendyol is a genuine export channel already, and its Gulf peak is Ramadan rather than Black Friday.

The typical seller here is not a reseller. It is a Bursa towel mill, a Denizli home-textile exporter, an Istanbul denim label, a Gaziantep copperware workshop or an olive-oil soap maker from Ayvalık: a manufacturer or distributor whose cartons arrive with a barcode on each unit. Domestically Trendyol’s rivals are Hepsiburada and n11; in the Gulf, noon and Namshi. Amazon shares its catalogue model with none of them, which is why the barcode question dominates this page.

The second is where the two platforms overlap. Trendyol’s developer documentation lists seller storefronts for Germany, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Greece, Slovakia, Romania, Czechia and Bulgaria alongside Türkiye. Amazon operates seller-facing marketplaces in Türkiye, Germany, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and it has none in Kuwait, Greece, Slovakia, Romania, Czechia or Bulgaria. So the honest case is not “Amazon reaches further”. It is that in four countries where you already trade there is a second marketplace with a different buyer, and your product data is already in the shape it needs.

Azerbaijan is a footnote: one of Trendyol’s biggest export destinations, but not a seller storefront in the regions table, and Amazon has no marketplace there. Nothing on this page applies to it.

Your Trendyol barcodes: which ones Amazon will accept

Every Trendyol variant has a barcode because Trendyol refuses to list one without it. Trade guides for the Partner Panel agree on the rule: a barcode is mandatory, it must be unique per variant, at least 13 characters, letters, digits and hyphens only, and if the manufacturer never issued one you may invent it. That last clause is the whole problem. Trendyol’s barcode field is an identity key for its own systems, not a GS1 registration; MAVI-2024-BLK-M satisfies Trendyol and means nothing anywhere else.

Amazon’s catalogue works the other way round. A listing is an offer attached to a product page, and to find or create that page Amazon needs an ASIN or a GTIN. GS1 US states the position plainly: most categories require a GTIN based on GS1 standards, and Amazon checks the number against the GS1 database. A self-generated Trendyol code will not pass that check.

So the first job is a sort. Your Trendyol barcodes fall into three groups:

Barcode on Trendyol What it is On Amazon
13 digits from the manufacturer or GS1 Türkiye, e.g. 8690000000000 An EAN-13 Resolves to an ASIN, or creates one
12 digits from a US supplier A UPC-A Resolves to an ASIN
Anything with letters, hyphens, or a length that is not 8, 12, 13 or 14 A Trendyol-only code Rejected; needs a GS1 number, a known ASIN, or a GTIN exemption

Check that each product in FLUF has the correct ASIN or barcode before publishing to Amazon. It must identify the exact item and variation you are selling. Add any missing identifier before continuing.

If you manufacture your own goods and never registered with GS1, you have two routes. Register with GS1 Türkiye, whose company prefixes begin 868 or 869, and re-barcode the line; it is a one-off cost and fixes the problem permanently on every marketplace, Hepsiburada and noon included. Or record the ASIN on the FLUF product once you have created the Amazon page by hand; FLUF prefers a known ASIN over a barcode, because an ASIN needs no matching at all.

Which Amazon: amazon.com.tr, the Gulf, or Germany

A Trendyol seller has four Amazon marketplaces worth considering, priced differently. The comparison is for a Professional account, the type that carries API access and therefore the one FLUF Connect connects to.

Amazon.com.tr Amazon.ae Amazon.sa Amazon.de
Currency TRY AED SAR EUR
Professional plan 99 TL + KDV a month, currently waived Currently no monthly subscription fee Currently no monthly subscription fee €39 a month excluding VAT
Referral fee, apparel 15.5% 15% 15% Most categories 8% to 15%
Referral fee, shoes and bags 17% Category-specific Category-specific Category-specific
Referral fee, electronics 9.5% 7% (mobile phones 5%) 5.5% Category-specific
Minimum per item Not stated 1 AED 1 SAR Category-specific
Matching Trendyol storefront TR AE SA DE

Two caveats. Amazon calls the Gulf and Turkish waivers limited-time, so the €39 German figure is what a Professional account normally costs. And if you sign up in more than one region, Amazon’s Turkish global-selling page says that linked accounts pay either the equivalent of US$39.99 a month or the sum of each region’s plan fees, whichever is lower, so a Türkiye plus Gulf plus Europe footprint does not cost three subscriptions.

All four accept applicants from Türkiye, though third-party guides note that Amazon admits Turkish applicants only as a company, not as a şahıs (sole trader); the vergi levhası and company documents you gave Trendyol are what it wants. In FLUF Connect each Amazon marketplace is a separate connection with its own marketplace ID and currency, as each Trendyol storefront is; amazon.com.tr plus amazon.ae is two connections.

Trendyol commission against Amazon referral fees

Trendyol does not publish a single public commission table. The rate you pay is set per category and per seller level and shown in the Partner Panel’s agreement screen, which is why Trendyol’s own seller information centre sends you there rather than quoting numbers. Trade trackers that scrape those panels currently put apparel at around 21%, shoes at around 23% and bags at around 21%, with mobile phones near 7%. Treat those as indicative; the binding figure is on your own agreement page.

Against that, Amazon.com.tr’s published referral fees are lower in every fashion category: 15.5% on clothing and 17% on shoes and handbags, before KDV. On a 1,000 TL pair of trainers the difference between a 23% Trendyol commission and a 17% Amazon referral fee is 60 TL per sale. Not a reason to leave Trendyol, whose Turkish traffic is unmatched, but a reason to give the same stock a second shelf with a wider margin.

Payout rhythm differs too. Amazon.com.tr settles every 14 days; Trendyol’s payment term depends on seller level and sits on the same agreement screen as your commission.

What a Trendyol catalogue looks like on Amazon, category by category

Amazon.com.tr publishes referral fees under Turkish category names and the Gulf sites under English ones, so the same Trendyol product lands in differently priced boxes depending on the storefront. The rows pair the categories a Turkish exporter most often carries with the published rates.

Typical Trendyol stock Amazon.com.tr category and fee Amazon.ae Amazon.sa
Denim, knitwear, abayas, kaftans, modest fashion Giyim, 15.5% Apparel, 15% Clothing, 15%
Leather shoes, handbags, belts Ayakkabılar ve Kol Çantaları, 17% Category-specific Category-specific
Phone cases, chargers, earphones Elektronik, 9.5%; Cep Telefonu 8%; Bilgisayar 7% Consumer Electronics 7%; Mobile Phones 5% Electronics, 5.5%
Gold-plated and silver jewellery, evil-eye pieces Takı, 20% up to 900 TL, then 6% Jewelry, 16% up to 1,000 AED, then 5% Category-specific
Olive-oil soap, rose water, hammam sets Kişisel Bakım ve Kozmetik, 9% up to 500 TL, then 14% Category-specific Beauty, 8.5% up to 50 SAR, then 11%
Dried apricots, pistachios, hazelnuts, Turkish delight Not listed on the summary page Grocery, 5% up to 50 AED, then 11%; no minimum Groceries, 3% up to 25 SAR, then 9%
Towels, bathrobes, bedding, kilims, copperware Home categories, see the full tariff Category-specific Category-specific

Three rows carry a condition rule as well as a fee. Apparel and shoes are New only. Soap, cosmetics and foodstuffs are consumables, restricted to New, sealed and within date. A Trendyol seller meets all three by default; a reseller of opened or returned stock does not.

Pricing in lira when the lira keeps moving

The currency question is one a UK or German crosslisting guide never has to answer. On 8 September 2026 the dollar bought 48.46 lira, and the lira was down 17.5% against the dollar over twelve months, on what the central bank describes as a managed path with intervention to contain excess volatility. A dirham price set on Amazon.ae in January is worth noticeably more in lira by December; a lira price on Amazon.com.tr buys less imported cotton, zips and packaging each month.

FLUF does not convert currencies for this pair. Review each marketplace price in its own currency before publishing, and check your listings after price or stock updates.

On amazon.com.tr and Trendyol TR that is the same lira price in two places, repriced by editing one number. On Amazon.ae or Amazon.sa, hold the Gulf listing’s price in dirhams or riyals and review it on a schedule rather than tying it to a lira master that drifts weekly. Smart pricing is not supported on Amazon or Trendyol, so the repricing is yours to do.

Shipping out of Türkiye: ETGB and e-ihracat

Selling on Amazon.ae, Amazon.sa or Amazon.de from a warehouse in Türkiye means exporting, and the regime most small merchants use is the simplified declaration known as ETGB, the Elektronik Ticaret Gümrük Beyannamesi. Under it an authorised express carrier files the customs declaration on your behalf, without a customs broker of your own. The limits were doubled at the start of this year: Anadolu Agency reported on 3 January 2026 that the gross weight ceiling rose from 300 kg to 600 kg and the value ceiling from 15,000 to 30,000 euros per consignment. The Ministry of Trade publishes a micro-export customs guide for the procedure.

Amazon’s own guidance for Turkish global sellers is explicit that you or your customs agent act as exporter of record and importer of record, and that goods may attract duties and import taxes in the destination country. And Gulf VAT is charged at the storefront’s rate, which Trendyol’s regions page lists as 15% for Saudi Arabia, 5% for the UAE and 0% for Kuwait; the same rates apply to an Amazon sale there, so a Trendyol SA price is already VAT-aware for Amazon.sa.

The mechanics, briefly. The declaration is filed by an authorised express operator such as PTT, DHL, UPS, FedEx or TNT, you issue an e-arşiv invoice, and the sale is invoiced at 0% KDV under article 11/1-a of the KDV law, with the input tax reclaimable. Your vergi levhası, company registration and a carrier contract are the paperwork; a customs broker of your own is not. None of this is FLUF Connect’s job. It lists and it syncs stock. If you already ship Trendyol export orders you have the operator account and the invoicing set up, and an Amazon.ae order rides the same rail.

FLUF Connect listings view showing one product catalogue with the marketplaces each item is live on
One catalogue in FLUF Connect, with each row showing where it is live. A Trendyol import arrives with a barcode on every row, which is the identifier Amazon needs.

New goods only, on both sides

Trendyol is a new-goods marketplace; its listing rules are written for retailers and brands. Amazon is stricter than most sellers expect in precisely the categories Trendyol is strongest in. Amazon’s published condition guidelines state that “Only New items are permitted to be sold in the Apparel category”, and repeat the New-only rule for Shoes and Handbags, Sports, Baby, Pet, Grocery and everything consumable or topical. Its definition of New is “a brand-new, unused item with its original tags and packaging”.

For this route that is good news: your stock qualifies by construction. What to check is how condition is recorded on the FLUF product, because FLUF Connect maps a written condition onto Amazon’s fixed vocabulary conservatively. A condition of “new”, “brand new” or “new with tags” becomes Amazon’s new_new grade. A blank condition, or anything ambiguous, is sent as used_good, and a used grade in an apparel category is a refusal from Amazon. So before your first bulk crosslist, confirm the condition attribute on your Trendyol-sourced products reads “new”; it is a single bulk edit in FLUF and it forestalls a whole class of refusals.

What transfers, field by field

Review these details before publishing your Trendyol products on Amazon:

Trendyol field Amazon attribute Transfers? Notes
barcode (up to 40 chars) externally_assigned_product_identifier (EAN, UPC, GTIN, ISBN) or merchant_suggested_asin Yes, if it is a real GTIN Length must be 8, 10, 12, 13 or 14. Trendyol-only codes are dropped and the listing is refused with a reason.
title (100 chars) item_name Yes, on the new-page path Ignored when your offer attaches to an existing ASIN; Amazon keeps the page’s own title.
description (30,000 chars) product_description, and the first 2,000 chars as condition_note Yes On an existing ASIN only the condition note reaches the buyer.
images (up to 8) main_product_image_locator plus other_product_image_locator Yes, on the new-page path Existing ASINs keep the catalogue’s photographs.
brandId, resolved to a name brand Yes Amazon may require brand approval in gated categories.
categoryId productType Mapped, not copied Check the Amazon product type and complete its required details.
stockCode Seller SKU Yes The SKU is what FLUF stores as the Amazon listing’s identity; the ASIN is kept alongside it.
salePrice / listPrice purchasable_offer price Sale price, yes List price has no Amazon equivalent on this path.
quantity fulfillment_availability quantity Yes Merchant-fulfilled. FBA stock is not managed by FLUF.
vatRate None No Amazon derives tax from your seller settings, not the listing.
dimensionalWeight None No Provide dimensions where required for the Amazon product type.
Category attributes (Trendyol’s per-category schema) Product type attributes Partly Review colour, size and material and complete any missing Amazon requirements.

One structural point underneath the table. A Trendyol product is a parent with variants, one barcode each. FLUF reads that as one row per variant, so a T-shirt in five sizes becomes five products and five separate Amazon offers, each attaching to its own child ASIN where Amazon already has a variation family, or created as a standalone page where it does not. FLUF does not build Amazon parent-child relationships on this route.

Publication is not immediate on either marketplace. Check that your listing is confirmed before treating it as live.

What syncs, in each direction

Read this section twice: both channels are newer in FLUF Connect than eBay or Shopify, and neither yet reports sales back.

Event What FLUF Connect does
Item sells on any other connected channel Both channels support setting stock to zero when an item is sold.
You reduce stock in FLUF from 5 to 2 Trendyol receives the revised quantity; Amazon receives the revised quantity. Zero on either side ends the offer.
Item sells on Trendyol Nothing automatic. FLUF reads Trendyol’s order stream, but it does not yet turn a Trendyol order into a sold event for other channels.
Item sells on Amazon Nothing automatic. Amazon’s order feed includes a Pending status, defined as “the order has been placed but payment has not been authorized”, and FLUF will not delist stock elsewhere on an unpaid order.
You edit price, title or description in FLUF Price and listing updates supported on both channels.
You delete or unlist in FLUF Trendyol quantity to 0 (Trendyol cannot always delete a newly approved product synchronously); Amazon offer deleted.

The consequence: with Trendyol and Amazon as your only channels, a sale on either will not reduce the other until you adjust the quantity in FLUF. Sales on eBay or Shopify, where FLUF does read orders, will pull stock from both. For a brand holding 50 units per SKU that asymmetry is a rounding error; for a one-of-each seller it is a real risk, so check orders daily.

Neither channel supports relisting or offer management in FLUF Connect. Those come with the plans above Starter and suit marketplaces where a listing ages or a buyer haggles; Amazon offers do neither, and Trendyol listings live until you end them.

Setting it up in FLUF Connect

  1. In Trendyol’s Partner Panel, open My Account, then Integration Information, and copy your Seller ID, API key and API secret. Note which storefront the store belongs to; the default is TR.
  2. Add Trendyol in FLUF Connect and enter the requested credentials and storefront code. Review your imported products, variants, barcodes, stock codes, prices and quantities. No browser extension is needed.
  3. Add Amazon. This is an OAuth consent in Seller Central rather than a key; FLUF’s application is published in Amazon’s Selling Partner Appstore, authorised once per marketplace.
  4. Sift your catalogue by barcode format. FLUF shows each product’s GTIN; pick out the values that are not 8, 12, 13 or 14 digits and decide, line by line, whether to register a GS1 number or record an ASIN.
  5. Confirm the condition attribute reads “new” across the Trendyol-sourced products. One bulk edit.
  6. Crosslist a short test batch first. Amazon names the missing attribute in each rejection, and the first few show which product types need extra fields.
  7. Then crosslist in bulk, or set an auto-crosslist rule so that every new Trendyol product carrying a GS1-length GTIN is offered on Amazon as it arrives.

The route also runs backwards: a German or Gulf seller whose catalogue lives on Amazon can push barcoded goods to their Trendyol storefront, where the barcode becomes the Trendyol identity directly.

What it costs

7 days for £1, then from £9/month, then plans from £9/month, and paying annually saves 40%. Crosslisting, inventory sync and bulk operations are on every plan, including Starter, with no limit on the number of listings. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with the plans above Starter, and as noted, none of the three applies to Trendyol or Amazon.

Marketplace fees are separate: Trendyol’s category commission from your agreement screen, and Amazon’s referral fee plus, once the waivers end, the Professional subscription. FLUF Connect charges nothing per listing or per sale on either.

Sources and verification

What we could not verify. Trendyol’s category commission bands are not published on a static public page; the percentages above come from a third-party tracker and your Partner Panel agreement screen is the binding source. The exact Trendyol barcode format rule (13 characters minimum, letters, digits and hyphens) is quoted from trade guides because Trendyol Akademi’s own pages render only for logged-in sellers. The business-entity requirement for Turkish Amazon applicants comes from a third-party guide, not Amazon’s own registration page. Amazon’s New-only condition rules are quoted from the UK edition of its guidelines; we did not find a separate Turkish-language version and assume the same categories apply on amazon.com.tr. FLUF Connect’s Amazon integration is new, and the field mapping above describes what the integration submits; Amazon’s acceptance of particular product types is confirmed listing by listing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Only if they are real GS1 numbers. Trendyol accepts any unique code of 13 or more characters, including one you made up, so a Trendyol catalogue usually mixes genuine EAN-13s from manufacturers with self-generated codes. Amazon checks identifiers against the GS1 database and rejects the invented ones. FLUF Connect stores each Trendyol barcode as the product's GTIN, sends it to Amazon only when its length matches a real GTIN format, and refuses with a reason otherwise, so you can see exactly which lines need a GS1 Türkiye number or a recorded ASIN.

Usually the one matching the Trendyol storefront you already ship from. Amazon.com.tr pairs with Trendyol TR, Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa with the Gulf storefronts, and Amazon.de with Trendyol DE. Amazon.com.tr charges 99 TL plus KDV a month for a Professional account, currently waived, with referral fees of 15.5% on clothing and 17% on shoes and bags. Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa are also waiving the subscription and take 15% on apparel. Each marketplace is a separate connection in FLUF Connect.

Nothing automatic, yet. FLUF Connect reads Trendyol's order stream but does not turn a Trendyol order into a sold event for other channels, so your Amazon quantity stays where you set it until you adjust it. The reverse also holds: an Amazon sale does not reduce Trendyol, because Amazon's feed includes a Pending status for orders whose payment has not been authorised. Sales on channels where FLUF does read orders, such as eBay or Shopify, do zero both Trendyol and Amazon.

Yes. A detected sale on a supported connected channel sets the corresponding Trendyol and Amazon quantities to zero. Stock changes made in FLUF also update both channels.

Not in the categories Trendyol sellers mostly trade in. Amazon's condition guidelines allow only New items in Apparel, Shoes and Handbags, Sports, Baby, Pet and Grocery, and every consumable, cosmetic or topical product must be new and sealed. Trendyol is a new-goods marketplace, so your stock qualifies by construction. Check that the condition attribute on your FLUF products reads “new”; FLUF Connect maps a blank or ambiguous condition to Amazon's used_good grade, which an apparel category will refuse.

Not for consignments within the micro-export limits. Under the ETGB simplified declaration an authorised express operator such as PTT, DHL, UPS, FedEx or TNT files customs on your behalf, and since January 2026 the ceiling is 600 kg gross and 30,000 euros per consignment, doubled from 300 kg and 15,000 euros. You invoice at 0% KDV. Amazon's guidance for Turkish global sellers says you or your customs agent act as exporter and importer of record and that destination duties may apply. FLUF Connect lists and syncs stock; the shipping stays with you.

The lira lost about 17.5% against the dollar in the twelve months to September 2026, so a dirham or riyal price set in January is worth more in lira by December while a lira price on Amazon.com.tr buys less imported material. FLUF Connect does not convert currencies. Each product has one master price and each channel listing holds its own price in the marketplace currency, pushed to Amazon by a PATCH that leaves other attributes untouched. Smart pricing is not supported on Amazon or Trendyol, so review Gulf prices on a schedule.

No. Neither Trendyol nor Amazon supports relisting, offer management or smart pricing in FLUF Connect; those features come with the plans above Starter and suit marketplaces where listings age or buyers haggle. Crosslisting, inventory sync and bulk operations are on every plan, including Starter, with unlimited listings. Neither channel requires a browser extension or an open browser tab.

50+ in total, with Trendyol and Amazon two of them. A barcoded new-goods catalogue is the easiest kind to move, because most marketplaces that ask for a product identifier are satisfied by the same EAN. Pricing starts with the trial, then plans from £9/month, and paying annually saves 40%.
