Crosslist from Vinted to Subito
Take your Vinted stock to Subito's Italian classifieds audience. Learn the six-photo limit, TuttoSubito fees and which sales you record by hand.
- Vinted reports 31 million average monthly active recipients across its ten connected EU markets, Italy included. It is built around clothing, shoes and accessories.
- Subito says it has over 26 million unique users a month and 13 million live ads in 38 categories. Furniture, home goods, tools, bikes and electronics all have a natural home there.
- Subito gives every ad six photos. The paid “6 Foto aggiuntive” option is only sold in the Motori, Immobili and Lavoro sections, so a jacket or a lamp stays at six.
- FLUF detects sales on Vinted. It does not detect sales on Subito, and it does not end Subito ads when an item sells elsewhere. You delete the Subito ad by hand after a Vinted sale, and you mark Subito sales sold in FLUF yourself.
- Neither marketplace takes a commission from private sellers. Buyers pay €0.70 + 5% Buyer Protection on Vinted and €1.20 + 5% (€1.20 + 4.5% above €300) on TuttoSubito.
- You need the FLUF browser extension to connect Vinted.
- 7 days for £1, then from £9/month, then plans from £9/month (Starter).

Why a Vinted seller adds Subito
Most people who start on Vinted start with a wardrobe clear-out. After a while the stock changes shape: a box of kitchenware from a house clearance, a child’s bike, a record player, a desk chair. Those items can go on Vinted, but the marketplace is organised around fashion, and a buyer scrolling for a coat is not looking for a bookcase.
Subito is the opposite shape. It is a general classifieds site where Italians look for almost anything second-hand, from sofas and washing machines to cars and flats. Subito describes itself as having more than 26 million unique monthly users, 13 million live ads a day across 38 categories and 2.8 billion searches in the last year. Its own EU disclosure on the same page gives a lower figure of 15.3 million average monthly active recipients at 30 June 2025, because that metric is counted differently. Both numbers are Subito’s, and we show both.
Vinted’s comparable disclosure is 31 million average monthly active recipients at 31 July 2026, but that figure covers France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Austria and Germany together. Vinted does not publish an Italy-only number on that page, so do not read the two figures as a like-for-like Italian comparison.
The practical reason to run both is category fit. Keep your fashion on Vinted, where buyers expect twenty photos and a size, a brand and a condition grade on every item. Put your heavier, bulkier and non-clothing stock on Subito too, where buyers search by town and province and are used to collecting in person. Fashion also sells on Subito, so a good Vinted piece can sit in both places at once.
| Vinted Italy | Subito | |
|---|---|---|
| Reported audience | 31M monthly active recipients (ten EU markets combined) | 26M+ unique monthly users (Subito’s claim); 15.3M EU disclosure |
| Private seller commission | None; buyer pays Buyer Protection | None; buyer pays the TuttoSubito fee on shipped sales |
| Photos per listing | Up to 20 | 6 (12 with a paid option in Motori, Immobili and Lavoro only) |
| How long a listing stays up | Until you sell or remove it | 365 days, then renew from the reminder email inside 7 days |
| Review before going live | Automatic check, usually fast, sometimes up to 3–4 days | Ad is reviewed, then you get a confirmation email |
How to crosslist from Vinted to Subito with FLUF Connect
The route has five steps. The first two you do once; the rest you repeat whenever you have stock that suits Subito.
1. Create your FLUF Connect account and add the browser extension
Sign up at fluf.io and install the FLUF browser extension. You need the extension to connect Vinted.
2. Connect Vinted and Subito
Open the Channels page in FLUF Connect and connect Vinted, then Subito. Each marketplace asks you to sign in to your own account. Once Vinted is connected, your existing Vinted listings appear as products in FLUF, so you do not retype them.
3. Choose which Vinted items go to Subito
Filter your products and select the ones you want on Subito, one at a time or with bulk selection. Think about fit before you think about volume. A heavy item a buyer will want to see and collect suits Subito well. A low-priced top that only makes sense with a shipping label may not be worth a second ad.
4. Check the Subito version of each listing
Before you publish, look at the details that will go to Subito: the category, the title, the price, the condition, the location and the photo order. The next section lists what to look for.
5. Publish, then keep track of sales
Publish to Subito from FLUF. Subito reviews new ads before they appear, so allow for that. After that, read the section on sales and stock carefully, because on this route some of the housekeeping stays with you.

What to check before each Subito ad goes live
Vinted and Subito describe items differently. Vinted is built around garments; Subito has one tree that has to cover clothes, furniture, cars and job ads. Do not assume every detail carries across the way you want. Run through this list for each item, and for the first few ads look at the published result on Subito itself.
- Category. Pick the most specific Subito category that fits. Subito does not let you change the category after publishing, so a wrong choice means deleting and posting again.
- Location. Subito buyers filter by region, province and town. Region and province also cannot be edited later, so make sure the ad shows where the item really is.
- Title. Subito’s advice is to use the words a buyer would search for, short and descriptive, without “vendo” or vague filler. Vinted titles that lean on a brand alone may need the object named too.
- Description. Subito asks for a clear, truthful and complete description and warns that keywords or tags for other products can stop an ad being treated as relevant. Strip out hashtag blocks and any Vinted-specific wording such as bundle discounts.
- Photos. Only six show on a normal Subito ad, and the first one is the search thumbnail. See the next section.
- Price. Both marketplaces work in euros. Look at similar Subito ads nearby before deciding whether to match your Vinted price or set a different one.
- Condition, size and brand. Subito asks for these in its fashion categories. Confirm they read correctly on the Subito ad, especially for sizes and less common brands.
- Shipping choice. Decide whether you will offer TuttoSubito shipping, handle shipping yourself, or sell for collection only.
Six photos: planning your shoot around Subito
This is the biggest practical difference on the route. Subito’s help centre says every ad can hold six photos, and that the first photo you add is the main image buyers see in search. There is a paid “6 Foto aggiuntive” option for six more slots, but Subito states it is available only in the Motori, Immobili and Lavoro sections. For clothing, furniture, electronics and hobby items, six is the ceiling.
Vinted, by contrast, lets you upload up to 20 images, and fashion buyers use them: labels, seams, soles, fabric close-ups and flaws.
The simple way to handle both is to shoot for Vinted and order for Subito. Take the full set you would want on Vinted, then arrange your Vinted photos so the first six tell the whole story on their own:
- A clean front shot on a plain background (this becomes the Subito thumbnail).
- The back or a second angle.
- The label, maker’s mark or model plate.
- The most important detail: fabric, the working screen, the drawer runners.
- Any flaw, clearly shown.
- Scale or context: the item worn, or next to something of known size.
Subito also asks for real photos rather than catalogue images, and will refuse images that do not represent the item. One more point: Subito overlays its logo on every uploaded photo. Keep your original camera files as the master set so that a watermarked copy never ends up in a listing somewhere else.
Subito rules that catch Vinted sellers out
Posting limits and paid categories
Publishing an ad on Subito costs nothing in most categories, but Subito says you can post at no cost only up to set thresholds that vary by category, and that Nautica, Servizi and Attrezzature di lavoro are paid categories. A Vinted seller moving a large batch of similar items into one Subito category may reach a threshold, so post your most valuable pieces first.
What you can and cannot edit
After publishing, you can change the title, description, price and photos. You cannot change the email address, region, province, category, ad type or whether you post as a private seller or a business. On Vinted most of those things are either fixed by your account or easy to change, so this is a habit to unlearn.
Ads expire after a year
A Subito ad stays online for 365 days. When it expires you get an email with a renewal link, and you must renew within seven days or you cannot renew that ad. Slow-moving stock such as furniture can reach that point, so do not ignore the reminder.
Newest first
Subito explains that the ads at the top of the list are the most recently published, whether a private seller or a business posted them. Buyers can also sort by relevance, which Subito links to a clear title and a complete description. In busy categories an older ad slides down quickly, which is why the paid visibility options below exist.
Business sellers
Subito’s help pages add that if you use management software, uploads, edits, renewals and deletions should be done from that software rather than from Subito’s Area Riservata, or the ads may not display correctly. That note is written for business accounts; private sellers who crosslist should still make edits in one place consistently.
Sales and stock: what FLUF does and what you do
Crosslisting only works if an item that sells in one place stops being for sale in the other. On this route the two directions behave differently, and you should know exactly where your part begins.
| What happens | What FLUF does | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| The item sells on Vinted | FLUF detects the sale and updates the product’s stock in FLUF. | FLUF does not end Subito ads. Delete the Subito ad yourself from your Subito Area Riservata. |
| The item sells on Subito through TuttoSubito | FLUF does not detect sales on Subito. | Mark the item sold in FLUF and make sure the Vinted listing is closed. |
| The item sells on Subito for cash at collection | FLUF does not detect sales on Subito. | Same as above: mark it sold in FLUF and make sure the Vinted listing is closed. |
| You want to relist a stale item | Relisting is available for Vinted on plans above Starter. It is not available for Subito. | Handle Subito ads yourself, including the yearly renewal email. |
| A buyer makes an offer | Offer management is available for Vinted on plans above Starter. It is not available for Subito. | Answer Subito proposals in Subito. |
A simple routine keeps you safe. When a Vinted sale comes in, open Subito and delete the matching ad before you pack the parcel. When someone on Subito pays or agrees to collect, mark the item sold in FLUF before you reply to the next message. Doing it at the moment of sale, not at the end of the day, is what prevents two buyers paying for one item.
If you sell a lot of one-off pieces on both sites, keep the Subito side small at first. Five or ten ads you delete by hand is easy. Two hundred is where mistakes happen.
Fees: what the buyer pays on each side
Private sellers pay no commission on either marketplace. The difference is the fee added to the buyer’s total.
| Item price | Vinted Buyer Protection (€0.70 + 5%) | TuttoSubito buyer fee (€1.20 + 5%, or + 4.5% above €300) |
|---|---|---|
| €20 | €1.70 | €2.20 |
| €40 | €2.70 | €3.20 |
| €100 | €5.70 | €6.20 |
| €400 | €20.70 | €19.20 |
The Vinted figure comes from the Vinted Italy price list, which describes Buyer Protection as usually 5% + €0.70. The TuttoSubito figures come from article 10 of Subito’s TuttoSubito terms: €1.20 plus 5% of the purchase price up to €300, €1.20 plus 4.5% above €300, with a maximum fee of €91.20. Shipping is added on top on both sites.
If the buyer collects in person and pays you directly on Subito, there is no TuttoSubito fee at all, which is one reason local collection stays popular for furniture and larger items. On both marketplaces the fee sits with the buyer, so your price comparison with similar ads should use the item price, not the buyer’s total.
Vinted also sells optional seller services such as item boosts and a wardrobe spotlight, listed on the same price list. Subito’s paid options are covered below.
Shipping, payouts and cash handovers
Vinted Italy
Vinted’s integrated carriers in Italy are Poste Italiane, InPost, BRT-fermopoint, DHL Express, and GLS for orders that use item verification. The buyer pays for the label at checkout, and you get a label or code after the sale.
If a parcel is lost or damaged, Vinted lists compensation caps for sellers of up to €12.50 with BRT-fermopoint, €15 for a lost parcel with Poste Italiane (up to €1/kg if damaged), €25 with InPost and €15 with DHL Express, rising to €500 for verified items sent via GLS or InPost. For anything valuable, pick the carrier with the higher cap.
Subito with TuttoSubito
Subito says shipping costs are always paid by the buyer and are worked out from parcel size and destination. When you post, you choose the shipping method, parcel weight and the couriers you want to enable. TuttoSubito shipping needs your postcode (CAP) and the parcel size, and bikes can be shipped with home pickup.
After a buyer pays, Subito tells you to create the label within 48 hours, and the terms require dispatch within six days of the buyer’s payment. Payment is released when the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically three days after delivery for TuttoSubito shipments, or ten days after you confirm dispatch if you ship yourself. The terms then give 3–8 working days to a bank account or 1–3 days to PayPal for the transfer.
If you ship yourself, Subito suggests raising your price to cover the courier, noting that an average shipment costs between €5 and €10.
Offers on TuttoSubito
Buyers can buy outright or send a proposal at a different price, and you can accept or refuse. Subito also lets you send your own offer to people who saved your ad or started a chat. You handle all of this in Subito, not in FLUF.
Cash and collection
Many Subito sales still happen face to face, especially for bulky items. There is no label and no fee, but there is also no record in FLUF of the sale, so mark the item sold in FLUF as soon as the buyer commits.
Subito’s paid visibility options
A normal private ad sits in the results by date. Subito sells several options to push it up:
- In Cima moves the ad back to the first page as if just published. You can buy it once a day, once a day for 7 days, every 7 days for a month, or every 7 days for two months. Subito says the ad moves up inside 30 minutes and stays on the first page until newer ads in the same category push it down.
- In Vetrina shows the ad in rotation in a highlighted position with a “Vetrina” label when a buyer searches by your region or province, your category or a keyword in your ad. It runs for 1 day, 7 days, 1 month or 2 months.
- In Evidenza in homepage puts the ad in the “In evidenza per te” section on Subito’s homepage for 7 days, shown to buyers who have shown interest in similar items. It is open to private sellers in any category.
- Urgente adds an “urgente” label for 10 days, and buyers can filter to see only urgent ads.
Subito shows the price of these options at checkout rather than publishing a fixed rate card, and private sellers pay by card or PayPal. Test one option on a single high-value ad before spending across your whole Subito catalogue.

What we could not verify. Vinted does not publish an Italy-only user figure on the page we cite, so we have not given one. Subito does not publish fixed prices for its visibility options or the exact posting thresholds for each category. Subito does not publish how its relevance sort weighs different signals. We found no primary source on how many Subito buyers also use Vinted, so this page makes no claim about audience overlap.
