Leboncoin to BigCommerce: Your Own Shop Beyond France
How a French Leboncoin seller adds a BigCommerce store for buyers elsewhere, what it costs, and what to do on each side after a sale.
Leboncoin buyers are looking in France, often near home. If you sell design furniture, vintage hi-fi or collectables that someone in Belgium or Germany would pay for, they will not find your ad. A BigCommerce store gives those items a shop on your own domain, with prices and text you control. FLUF Connect fills it from your Leboncoin ads, so you do not write each one again.
In short
- A store suits a French seller with stock that buyers abroad, or across France, will order online.
- BigCommerce’s Core plan is $29 a month billed annually, and its pricing page lists multi-currency selling. It charges no commission.
- A sale through Leboncoin’s checkout comes into FLUF and the store’s stock goes down.
- A store order comes into FLUF too, but you delete the Leboncoin ad yourself.
What a Leboncoin seller gains and gives up
You gain reach and a shop that stays yours. You give up the audience: nobody browses BigCommerce, so visitors come from Google, your social accounts or customers you already have. You also give up Leboncoin’s shipping options, such as Mondial Relay and Colissimo, on those orders, so you need your own carrier account and return rules. A seller of low-value household items will rarely recover that effort. A dealer with €300 lamps and a following on Instagram has a much better chance.
What it costs
BigCommerce’s pricing page lists these plans in dollars, billed annually, so check the price for your region when you sign up:
| Plan | Per month | Sales limit |
|---|---|---|
| Core | $29 | $30,000 over 12 months |
| Growth | $79 | $100,000 over 12 months |
| Scale | $299 | $33,333 a month, with 0.9% above the cap |
Your payment provider charges on each store order. The 2.89% + $0.29 rate on that page is for US-based businesses, so compare what your chosen provider charges a French company. A cash sale at your door stays free, so keep Leboncoin running for local buyers. The store is an addition to it.
How to send Leboncoin ads to BigCommerce
- Connect Leboncoin in FLUF Connect so your ads appear in your FLUF inventory.
- Connect your BigCommerce store from its card on the Channels screen.
- Filter the inventory to Leboncoin and select the items you can ship.
- Choose BigCommerce as the destination, check the prices and publish.

Two details matter before you publish. Your ads are written in French, which is fine for a French shop, but a store aimed at other countries needs translated titles for at least your best items. Leboncoin prices also tend to leave room for haggling, and a store price is final, so set it at what you would actually accept.
After a sale
| What happens | In FLUF | On Leboncoin |
|---|---|---|
| Sold through Leboncoin’s checkout | The sale comes in and the store’s stock goes down | Check the ad has closed, and delete it if it has not |
| Sold in your store | The order comes in | Delete the ad yourself |
| Sold for cash at your door | Mark it sold, and the store stock goes down | Delete the ad yourself |
A cash sale is the one to remember, since FLUF has no way of knowing about it. Mark the item sold before the buyer drives away, or your store may take a payment for something you no longer own. Relisting and offer management are not available through FLUF on either channel.
What FLUF costs
Crosslisting, inventory sync and order sync are on every FLUF plan, from £9 a month for Starter. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with Pro and above. None of those three applies to this pair. You can start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
