Key takeaways

  • PcComponentes is a Spanish technology retailer whose marketplace lets other businesses sell on its site.
  • It costs €39.99 a month plus VAT and a commission from 5% that depends on the category. The first month is free, and a month with no sales carries no subscription.
  • Balances are paid out three times a month, on the 1st, 11th and 21st.
  • You issue the invoice to the buyer and talk to customers through the PcComponentes messaging system.
  • Once approved, you can connect your seller account in FLUF Connect and list stock whose barcodes are already in the PcComponentes catalogue. FLUF does not create catalogue products or import orders.

This guide is for a shop or distributor that sells computer parts, peripherals, gaming gear or consumer electronics and wants a place in front of Spanish technology buyers. If you sell second-hand gadgets as a private person, PcComponentes is not the route; Wallapop or eBay will take you without a company behind you.

What the PcComponentes marketplace is

PcComponentes is a Spanish online retailer of computer parts and electronics. Its marketplace page puts marketplace sales at €125M in 2023, up 25% on 2022, and promises international sales at no extra cost. Sellers get a dedicated account manager and can buy two extra services: a fulfilment service, where PcComponentes stores and ships your stock, and PcAds, its advertising product.

The seller FAQ says almost any product that fits its categories can be sold, and it singles out businesses with an exclusive range or their own manufacturing. In practice the shop is about technology, so a range of phone cases, monitors or networking kit fits better than clothing or homeware.

Fees and payouts

Charge What PcComponentes publishes
Monthly subscription €39.99, VAT not included. First month free. Not charged in a month with no sales.
Commission From 5% per order, depending on the product category
What the commission is worked out on The total order amount. The percentages in the commission tables exclude VAT.
Payouts The 1st, 11th and 21st of each month
Card fraud Buyers pay by card or with financing. You receive the full payment and PcComponentes handles anti-fraud checks.

A worked example at the lowest rate: ten orders of €200 in a month cost €100 in commission at 5%, plus the €39.99 subscription. On a slow month of two orders the subscription weighs much more, at €20 per order on top of the commission. Ask for the commission table for your own categories before you price anything, because 5% is the floor, not the typical rate.

Winning the Buy Box

Several sellers can offer the same product, and one of them wins the Buy Box, the offer a shopper adds to the basket by default. PcComponentes says its algorithm weighs price, delivery time and the seller’s service quality. Using its fulfilment service shortens delivery and, by its own account, improves your chances.

That matters for anyone listing well-known products. If ten shops sell the same graphics card, the one with a slightly higher price but next-day delivery can still win the sale, while a cheap offer with a week’s lead time sits unseen.

Orders, customers and invoices

  • You choose your carrier from a list PcComponentes keeps up to date.
  • You talk to buyers through the platform’s messaging service, and PcComponentes expects that to be quick and clear.
  • Your after-sales service has to meet PcComponentes’ own standard.
  • You must give every buyer an invoice for the purchase. The marketplace does not issue it for you.

The invoice rule catches sellers used to marketplaces that bill the customer themselves. Check that your accounting tool can raise Spanish invoices for each order before you go live.

How to apply

There is no open sign-up. You fill in the “Start selling” form on the marketplace page with your name, website, phone number and a company email address, and the team gets back to you. Ask at that stage for the commission rate on each of your categories in writing.

Using FLUF Connect with PcComponentes

On the Channels screen in FLUF Connect the PcComponentes card is marked “Invite only” and covers one country, Spain. Once PcComponentes has approved you, choose “Already approved? Connect” on the card.

FLUF can then list items from your inventory that already exist in the PcComponentes catalogue, matched by barcode. Your offer joins the existing product page and competes for its Buy Box. A shop that also sells through MediaMarkt or Worten can offer the same units on PcComponentes without keying them in again.

Task On PcComponentes through FLUF Connect
Apply and get approved You do this with PcComponentes
Connect your approved seller account Yes, from the Channels screen
List stock the catalogue already holds, by barcode Yes
Create new catalogue products No
Detect sales or import orders No. Handle orders and invoices in your PcComponentes seller account.
Relisting or offer management No

Because FLUF does not see PcComponentes orders, a sale there does not lower your stock elsewhere by itself. When an order uses your last unit, mark the item sold in FLUF so it comes down from the other marketplaces you list it on.

What FLUF costs

Crosslisting and inventory sync are on every FLUF plan, from Starter upwards. Plans are on the pricing page, and you can start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
