Sell on El Corte Inglés: how the marketplace works, delivery, returns and fees
For approved businesses in Spain and Portugal. You set delivery charges and times, returns come back by home collection only, and El Corte Inglés does not publish its commission.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
- The Spanish department store group El Corte Inglés sells products from outside businesses on elcorteingles.es alongside its own range. Shoppers see these items marked “Vendido por” (sold by) with the seller’s name.
- You set your own delivery charges and delivery times. The store’s flat-rate shipping does not cover marketplace items.
- Customers have 14 days from delivery to change their mind. Marketplace items can only go back by home collection, never to a store, and the customer is refunded within 14 days of the item being checked.
- El Corte Inglés does not publish its commission or seller requirements. It chooses its sellers, so expect an application, not a sign-up form.
- FLUF Connect does not get you accepted. After approval, you connect your seller account and FLUF offers your stock against products El Corte Inglés already sells, using each item’s barcode.
This page is for a registered business in Spain or Portugal that wants its products in front of the people who already buy fashion, home goods, electronics and books from El Corte Inglés online. A brand, a distributor or an established online shop fits. A private seller clearing a wardrobe does not, and will do better on Wallapop or Vinted. The facts below come from El Corte Inglés’s own customer help pages, read in October 2026, and from its earlier marketplace help page where the current site no longer spells things out.
How marketplace items appear to shoppers
The El Corte Inglés marketplace help page defined a marketplace product as one “sold by third parties through the El Corte Inglés website”. Each one says “Vendido por…” on the product page, and the sales document carries the initials MKTP. The same page made the seller “responsible for these items and for any offers on them, as well as for giving the legally required guarantee”.
The current returns help page adds what the customer sees after buying: the order tracking emails read “VENDEDOR EXTERNO MARKETPLACE” (external marketplace seller) and “VENDIDO POR…” with your name. Your shop name sits right next to the El Corte Inglés brand. A late parcel or a poor description reflects on you, and the customer will judge it against a department store’s standard.
Delivery: your prices, your timings
According to El Corte Inglés, “each seller can set its own shipping charges and delivery times”, and shoppers are told to read the shipping and returns tab on the product page before ordering. The store’s flat-rate shipping does not apply to these products.
A customer used to the store’s flat-rate delivery sees your delivery charge on top of your price, at the same checkout. Your delivery terms are part of your offer, so price them as carefully as the product.
Returns and refunds
| Question | What El Corte Inglés says |
|---|---|
| Time to withdraw | 14 calendar days from receiving a marketplace order. The product must be in perfect condition. |
| How items come back | Only by collection from the customer’s home, requested from Mis compras > Gestiona tu compra > Devoluciones in their account or by chat. |
| Returning to a store | Not accepted for marketplace items. |
| Who pays for collection | The customer pays the collection charge set by the seller. If the item was damaged in transit or is faulty, the seller pays. |
| Refund timing | Within 14 calendar days of collection, to the original payment method, once the item’s condition has been checked. |
Sources: the current returns page for the collection-only rule, the store exclusion and the refund timing; the earlier marketplace help page for the 14-day window and who pays for collection. The “no store returns” rule matters: a customer cannot drop your item at the nearest El Corte Inglés, so every return reaches you by courier, and you need room in your stock and your margin for it.
Joining and fees
El Corte Inglés does not publish a seller sign-up page, a commission table or a list of seller requirements on its public site. It picks the businesses it lists, so treat joining as an application. Before you commit, ask for the commission in each category you plan to sell, any monthly charge, the payout schedule, and which countries and regions your offers will reach. A margin that works for a kitchen appliance may not survive the commission on a book.
The FLUF Connect card for El Corte Inglés lists two countries, Spain and Portugal, and is marked invite only, because the account has to be approved by El Corte Inglés first.
Using FLUF Connect with El Corte Inglés
Once El Corte Inglés has approved you, connect your seller account from the Channels screen in FLUF Connect. FLUF can then list items from your inventory that already exist in El Corte Inglés’s catalogue, matched by barcode (EAN), and keep their price and stock aligned with your other channels.

| Task | On El Corte Inglés through FLUF Connect |
|---|---|
| Apply and be accepted as a seller | You do this with El Corte Inglés |
| Connect your seller account | Yes, from the Channels screen |
| Offer your stock on existing El Corte Inglés products (EAN match) | Yes |
| Create new products in El Corte Inglés’s catalogue | No |
| Detect El Corte Inglés orders | No. Handle them in your El Corte Inglés seller account. |
| Relisting or offer management | No |
When an El Corte Inglés order comes in, ship it from your seller account and mark the item sold in FLUF so its listings on your other channels end. If the item sells somewhere else first, FLUF removes the El Corte Inglés offer, so a shopper there cannot buy something you no longer have.
El Corte Inglés is a business channel. FLUF plans for businesses selling on several retail marketplaces are on the pricing page.
