The short answer for Belgian sellers

Belgium sits between three big resale markets, and most of their local sites stop at the border. The marketplaces that work from a Belgian address are the pan-European and international ones. For second-hand clothing that means Vinted first. For collectables and live selling it means Whatnot. For everything else, eBay, Etsy, Depop and Vestiaire Collective accept sellers from anywhere, and Amazon runs a Belgian store.

Marketplaces FLUF can drive from Belgium

Channel Who it suits FLUF sees sales there FLUF ends listings there
Vinted Second-hand clothing, shoes and accessories Yes Yes
Whatnot Live shows: cards, collectables, sneakers Yes Yes
eBay Almost anything, new or used, local or export Yes Yes
Etsy Handmade, vintage and craft supplies Yes Yes
Depop Vintage and streetwear Yes Yes
Vestiaire Collective Designer and luxury pieces Yes Yes
Amazon (Belgian store) New branded goods you post yourself No, mark it sold in FLUF Yes
Facebook Marketplace Local sales and bulky items No, mark it sold in FLUF Yes
Shopify shop Your own branded site Yes Yes
WooCommerce shop Your own WordPress site Yes No, lower the stock yourself

Where FLUF sees a sale, it ends the item on the other channels it can end. Where it does not, you mark the item sold in FLUF and it does the rest. Relisting and offer management on Vinted are included from the Seller plan upwards.

Selling on Vinted from Belgium

Vinted’s Belgian help centre says there are no fees for listing or selling. The buyer pays a protection fee and the postage. With bpost, the postage depends on parcel size and on where buyer and seller are, and the buyer sees it at checkout. You take the parcel to the nearest bpost point, and it goes either to another pickup point or locker, or to the buyer’s home.

That locker network is growing. bpost planned more than a thousand new bboxes in 2026, for about 3,500 by the end of the year. For a seller that means more drop-off options close to home.

FLUF connects Vinted through the FLUF browser extension or the FLUF mobile app, so you can manage your Vinted listings from your phone.

Whatnot and Amazon

Belgium is on Whatnot’s list of seller countries, alongside France, Germany, the Netherlands and others. Whatnot suits sellers who can run live shows, and FLUF connects it through the FLUF browser extension. A Whatnot sale ends your other listings, and a sale elsewhere ends the Whatnot one.

For new, branded stock, FLUF lists merchant-fulfilled offers to Amazon’s Belgian store and removes them when the item sells elsewhere. FLUF does not detect Amazon sales, so mark Amazon orders sold in FLUF as you pack them.

Dutch, French or both

A Belgian seller’s buyers may read Dutch, French or both, and Brussels mixes the two. The international marketplaces let you write a listing in one language, so pick the one most of your buyers use. If you sell from Flanders to Flemish buyers, write in Dutch. From Wallonia, write in French. If your stock is aimed at collectors across Europe, as on Whatnot or Vestiaire Collective, English titles often travel furthest.

Brand names, model numbers and sizes read the same in every language, so put them at the start of the title. A buyer searching “Levi’s 501 W32” in Ghent or Liège finds the same listing. Keep condition notes short and plain, which helps anyone reading your listing in their second language.

Sizing is worth a line too. Belgian buyers use EU clothing and shoe sizes, so state the EU size clearly, and add the UK or US size only when the label shows it.

What you cannot connect from Belgium

2dehands and 2ememain are the Belgian market leader in online classifieds, one site in Dutch and one in French, with around 3 million monthly unique visitors. Furniture, toys, cars and building materials are its busiest categories. FLUF does not support it. If you use it, remove the ad yourself when the item sells elsewhere.

Three neighbours’ sites that FLUF does support are limited to their home market: Marktplaats connects Dutch accounts only, Leboncoin French accounts only, and Kleinanzeigen German accounts only. La Redoute‘s marketplace takes registered businesses by application, and FLUF does not connect it yet.

Platform reporting

Under the EU’s DAC7 rules, marketplaces report information about their sellers’ sales of goods to tax authorities, and Belgian sellers are covered like any other EU seller. Each marketplace reports on its own, so selling on several means several reports. Keep your own sales records per channel. If your selling has become a business, ask SPF Finances or an accountant about VAT and income tax.

Getting started

  1. Connect the channels you already use, usually Vinted first.
  2. Bring in your existing listings so FLUF knows your stock.
  3. Add one or two new channels that suit your stock, for example Depop or Vestiaire Collective for fashion, eBay for general goods, Whatnot for collectables.
  4. Review each listing before it goes live, and publish.
