Consignment Software for Shopify Stores
List a supplier's items on your Shopify store, keep a commission on every sale, and let FLUF Connect handle the orders and the payment split.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
- Sell another seller’s stock on your Shopify store and keep a commission on every sale.
- The supplier ships each sold item, so you never hold or post their stock.
- You choose what reaches your store with filters on title, SKU, collection and price.
- Payment is automatic. Two days after the supplier marks an item shipped, you keep your commission and the supplier is paid their share.
- Set it up yourself: pick your role, connect Shopify and invite a supplier by email.
- FLUF’s fee is 2% of the sale price from each partner.
What consignment means here
Consignment in FLUF Connect connects two sellers. The supplier has stock. The outlet runs a Shopify store and sells the supplier’s items on it. When something sells, the outlet keeps an agreed commission and the supplier gets the rest.
It suits shops that want more to sell without buying stock up front, like a boutique adding a vintage dealer’s rail, or a store adding a partner’s books or records.
How it works
- You agree terms. One of you invites the other with a commission rate and a shipping time.
- The supplier’s items appear on your Shopify store. Their stock can come from any of the marketplaces they already sell on through FLUF, including Depop, eBay, Etsy, Amazon, StockX, Discogs, AbeBooks and Shopify.
- A customer buys on your store. The order shows up in Consignment Orders for both of you.
- The supplier ships it straight to your customer and marks it shipped.
- Two days later the sale settles. You keep your commission, and the supplier’s share is paid to their Stripe account.
What you control as the shop
Which items reach your store
Product filters decide which of a supplier’s items are listed on your store. You can set different filters for each supplier.
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Title includes / excludes | Only take items with, or without, certain words in the title |
| SKU includes | Only take items whose SKUs match |
| Collections | Only take items from certain Shopify collections |
| Price min / max | Only take items within a price range |
Your terms
Set your default commission and expected shipping time. You can also add the brand name to the start of each product title so consigned items match the rest of your store.
Partnerships
See every supplier with their terms, how many of their items are live and sold, and what you’ve earned. Either side can end a partnership at any time.
Commission, fees and payouts
The commission rate is the share of each sale price the shop keeps. FLUF takes 2% of the sale price from each partner.
| Item sells for £100 at 20% commission | Amount |
|---|---|
| Shop keeps (£20 commission minus £2 fee) | £18 |
| Supplier receives (£80 minus £2 fee) | £78 |
| FLUF fee (2% from each side) | £4 |
As the shop, you add a payment method in Consignment Settings. It’s charged for the supplier’s share once a sale settles. Suppliers are paid through Stripe Connect.[1]
How to set it up
- Open Consignment in FLUF Connect and choose I sell other people’s stock.
- Connect your Shopify store on the Channels page.
- Set your commission and shipping time, and add a payment method, in Consignment Settings.
- On Counterparties, click Invite a partner and enter the supplier’s email. They don’t need a FLUF account yet.
- The supplier opens the link in their email, signs in or creates a free account, and accepts.
Step-by-step help, with every setting explained, is in the consignment help article.[2]
