The problem with running several accounts
Sellers open a second account on a marketplace for good reasons: a new brand, a business account next to a personal one, or a shop for another country. Then the work doubles.
- You sign in and out all day, or keep several browsers open.
- Orders arrive in different places and one gets missed.
- Listing tools usually handle one account per marketplace, so the second account is done by hand.
- Stock that sells in one place stays live somewhere else, and you sell it twice.
What multi-store does in FLUF Connect
FLUF Connect puts every account you run under one login and treats each as its own store.
Every store is its own destination
When you crosslist, each account shows up separately, labelled with its account name. Pick the store each product belongs in, alongside stores on other marketplaces, in the same step.
Rules per store
Auto-listing rules can use a specific store as the source, the destination, or both. New stock from one Shopify store can go to one eBay account, while another store’s stock goes somewhere else. Relisting strategies are also set per store.
Filters per store
Listings, Orders, Sync History, Offers and Inbox each let you pick one store or all of them.
Stock kept in step
When an item sells on one marketplace, FLUF Connect removes it from your other marketplaces. See inventory sync.
Each marketplace’s rules
FLUF Connect can connect as many accounts as you run, but it does not change what each marketplace allows. Check the rules before you open a second account.
| Marketplace | Rule on more than one account | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| eBay | Allowed, with a different email per account. Not allowed to get around restrictions, and the same fixed-price item cannot be listed under two usernames.[1][2] | Multiple eBay accounts |
| Etsy | Allowed. One shop per account, one email per account, and every shop listed in each account’s Public Profile.[3] | Multiple Etsy shops |
| Vinted | One account per member. Registered businesses can convert to, or open a separate, Vinted Pro account.[4][5] | Two Vinted accounts |
| Shopify | Allowed. Each store has its own plan, and stores can be grouped into an organisation.[6] | Multiple Shopify stores |
| Other marketplaces | Rules differ. Read the marketplace’s terms, or ask its support team, before opening a second account. | All channel guides |
How to set it up
Marketplaces that connect with a sign-in
For marketplaces such as eBay and Shopify, open Channels and use Add another store on the marketplace’s card. If the marketplace signs you straight back in to your first account, sign out on the marketplace’s website first, or use a private window, and try again.
Marketplaces that connect through the browser extension
For marketplaces that use the FLUF Connect extension, such as Vinted, give each account its own Chrome profile:
- In Chrome, click your profile picture and choose Add to create a new profile.
- Install the FLUF Connect extension in the new profile.
- Sign in to the second account in that profile.
- Open FLUF Connect, go to Channels and add the store.
Incognito windows do not work for this. Full steps are in the multiple accounts help article.
Staff access
Multi-store is about accounts on marketplaces. Giving staff their own FLUF Connect logins is a separate feature, team seats, which is included on the Pro and Super Seller plans. See team management.
